Hayes Public House is more than a bar, it is a true "public house". The staff is fun to talk with and they are always welcoming. There is relaxed atmosphere created by the Irish pub vibe. And the local live music on the weekends is fantastic. It is clear that they focus on, and are passionate about, making quality craft beer. We have been there several times and its always hard to choose between our "old favorites" (the stout!) and new choices on tap. It is a small pub, which makes it the perfect place to have a pint with your closest friends.

I drove by one the way to the liquor store and saw there was a public house, me and my mom ended up stopping by on a Wednesday night while there was a live band and spent easily three hours there. The band was awesome, the bartenders Mia and Pug have amazing voices and I will be back every single Wednesday. I feel bad because I cant remember the actual band name, but if you want live music this is the place to go! Super cute Irish bar and you will not be disappointed!

YES!!! FINALLY a brew house in Buffalo! These folks are exceptionally talented brewers. Funny and friendly. OPTIONS for local, craft brew. Great atmosphere and you can sit outside and watch Buffalo Lake! Stay for a few and take a growler home too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Tough to beat a small brewery and taproom in a small town. Hayes is a nice little place to sit and have a few pints of their Irish Ale, Pale Ale, Stout and many other brews depending on the time/month/day. Right by Buffalo Lake in downtown Buffalo.

For a long time, there was no good, fresh beer near Rockford. And this place opened up. I moved away awhile back, but I was just thinking of this place and how good the beer/environment/staff were.

Great beers! Great atmosphere! Definitely amazing to have in Buffalo. Often has live music and food trucks. Bring food or have your food delivered. Deck has a great view of Buffalo Lake.
