My hope is the brews will improve. Compared to the well established breweries in town, this relative newcomer needs to find its WOW factor to get beer aficionados to make the trip out of NorthEast Minneapolis (a beer lovers mecca) to venture out into the suburbs for some froth. The beer tend to be run of the mill (IPA, Red Ale, Porter) and flat. Excelsior Brewing (across Lake Minnetonka) has a foothold in the West metro for craft beers so WBW has stiff competition. And the premium price ($6/pint) puts them at a dollar more than most other tap rooms in the Twin Cities. But the location in the old boat works building on Lake Minnetonka makes the trip worthwhile. And downtown Wayzata is a beautiful place to enjoy the day for boutique shopping and creative dining. All together, a Wayzata day trip with a beer break should be on everyones summer schedule.

My family had a 60th Birthday party for me at Wayzata Brew Works and it was AWESOME!!!! Most everyone who came to the party had never been there before and they all said they would be back. We were able to bring some of our own food in. We ordered their pizzas which were very good and they took GREAT care of us. It is right on the lake so the view was beautiful and several of us stayed that night for the great entertainment they had. GREAT staff and excellent manager!!!! Thank you Rich and staff for making my birthday the BEST.

Great atmosphere, great staff, the entertainment at the time I was there was blowaway! (the band Hookers and Blow) Everyone had a good time and the owner makes sure of it. He walks around making sure everyone is happy and had a good glass of beer in hand. The deck is a great hangout with fire pits and comfortable seating. Its one of those places that make you feel like you are part of a club everyone wants to be in!

The live music is fantastic, not sure what their process is like, but they have a knack for finding some pretty great talent to get up there. Prime location, yet BrewWorks itself is actually harder to find than I had originally anticipated. The beer can truly rival any small local brewery in Minnesota, especially the Moore Larger and their Belgian.

The place was quiet enough to talk to the people we were with, which was nice. We had to park on the opposite side of the building and walk down towards the water, and the brewery is not listed on the business sign out front. The chocolate stout was a little too bitter for our taste, and the root beer was good.

Great beer choices and cant get a better view overlooking Lake Minnetonka while hanging out with friends and family. The inside is very well put together and includes odes to classic boats around the booths and walls, making for an interesting setting. Dont forget the food truck outside either.

Great brewery. Nice staff, nice choice of their own brewed beer which was very good. The outside porch overlooking the lake makes for a nice place to relax with friends. Lots of comfortable seating. If I lived in the area it would be a regular stop for me.

Fantastic variety of beer brewed in house. I had four of the beers, and all four were great. Took a star off because there was a band the night I was there and it was so loud I could hardly hear my wife yelling right next to me.

Came here for Yoga and a Pint on Saturday morning right by the water! Awesome experience and we even met some of the staff who was very friendly. We tried most of their beers and liked them all!

The dock overlooking the lake is amazing! It was shady on a hot summer evening. The only food to order is pizza and pretzels. The pizza was over priced for the quality and quantity.
