Love the food but the "management" is extremely rude, not only to the customers but to the employees. My wife and I have been going there regularly for a year, she has been going for many years. Every time we go we get the exact same thing, hash Browns with onions mushrooms green peppers, I get chopped ham burger she gets scrambled eggs. Regularly for a year. The "manager" a big balding guy with an extremely loud mouth was being extremely rude to our waitress (who is an extremely nice woman) then when we said something to him he got rude with US! Regular, loyal customers. We will NEVER be back. Which is a shame because we had loved Travis.

I would never reccommend this place, in fact I would highly reccomend you never go there. I have been there 4 times, and each time I thought to myself havent I learned my lesson by now? The waitresses are RUDE and prepare to wait 40-45 minutes just for breakfast. When a customer complained the cook yelled a nasty "well I guess I could pay for your coffee!" I mean what a fool! Everyone knows how hard it is to keep business going in these hard economic times. Well I am here to tell you DO NOT take your hard earned dollars here, you will surely be disappointed and disgusted.

I found a fruit fly in my sandwich, the restaurant is straight dirty. 2 of the waitresses talked about how they were going to "smoke a cig." 10 minutes later they did and came back in and did not wash there hands once. One older man tried to start a conversation with one of the waitresses and she totally ignored him. The food is all around nasty and I am not proud to say that this is my worst dinning experience. Your better of eating at the McDonalds right across the street.

My husband has been going here for more then 50 years, his dad was a cop in the Shores and this was their hangout, there used to be half a dozen places around the area but alas, 9 Mile and Mack is the original and the best. Even if he cant eat them all at one sitting or in the car hell get a sack of Travis Burgers and stuff himself. But his favorite is a Mr. 5x5 and an order of fries for Inside Eating. Cash Only NO credit cards here....

Saw this restaurant on The D tv program with Chuck and Tati, as having great burgers...Well, the onions and mayonnaise used tasted spoiled..And the restaurant could use a good cleaning...Thankfully prices were cheap, I spent 6.89 for two cheeseburgers and onion rings...had I spent a lot Id be really upset. I was only able to eat the meat, and the onion rings so it wasnt a total loss...To their credit the service was very good!

Place very dirty, bathrooms DISGUSTING. waitress seemed angry because i left a $2.00 tip on a $6 tab....i dont see the cooks washing thier hands after they touch nasty things, like after going to thier nasty bathroom. For god sakes, clean up your restaurant. Food ok...i will NEVER eat at this dirty dirty restaurant again. And PLEASE. ..who takes only cash these days....wonder why? 3 letters IRS

Had brunch here with family and was pleasantly surprised at the prices. I was blown away by how good the "simple" cheeseburger I ordered was. It was juicy and packed with flavor. Later I learned of the restaurants burger fame and can completely agree with it. The service was prompt and friendly. The place could use more seating. I highly recommend this place as a frequent go-to restaurant.

Horrible service, I tried to pre order 5 six packs of burgers for myself and co workers. They told me I would have to pay a deposit so I offered them a debit card number, only for her to tell me that they only take cash. She the. Told me I would have to come in to order, pay a deposit in cash, then wait for the order. Completely ridiculous, love the food hate the service. Will never return

It would be best if the rude ass NEW cooks didnt scream at the staff. With the open concept and there being no way we couldnt hear them, its best they not speak at all. Or the drugged up waitress? Thatd be cool too. She was so high that she couldnt stand straight or keep her eyes open. And spilled soup & coffee everywhere. But other than that, 4 stars!

Nice little place. They had their regulars that they knew by name. I was there because I was told to check it out by a coworker to see if we would like to go there one time for a time out. I was off in the area and it was a perfect time. Coffee was hot. Burger was excellent and chilli fries mmmm good. Definitely going back, even if its by myself.

Food is good, but service is terrible. Sat there waiting for 5 minutes and the waitress just looked at us and kept cleaning. We left. Have been there multiple other times where they are slow and we have to go to the counter to get napkins, silverware, our 1 refill on pop and our bill.

Hands down the best slider Ive had in my entire life. Grilled onions are necessary good menu all around. Good hospitality from the staff and this is the best place to go anywhere from a good breakfast special to a late night snack after bar hours. Best beef in town!

Worst service I have ever received! They messed up our order and when we called to speak with them about the mix up they hung up on us. I will never eat at this restaurant again! The burgers were not even that good. Complete waste of money!

We all like a slider place, but this place is just dirty and greasy. Ordered sausage, eggs and hash browns and they were swimming in oil/grease. Come on people. Im not one to send food back and try to get $, but lighten up on the oil.

Ur typical greasy spoon, with a helluva steak and eggs breakfast, and the best little Travis burgers on the east side! I eat here with the wife and kids and the coworkers. Its a spot 4 every crowd with great coffee and prices.

The food isnt really good whatsoever. But its been a neighborhood gathering place all throughout my high school experience. So as bad as the service is and as bland as the food is, Travis will always be a great spot

Food is good with competitive pricing. What I dont like is this cook they have. Hes a really big guy with a loud mouth. He is constantly dropping f bombs with young kids within ear shot. Reminds me of a bar.

Its a hole in the wall. I like sliders, but was disappointed with Travis. The food was not like other holes in the wall. Cannot say I will go back for sliders, but might try something else next time.
