Im a Starbucks fan for life (Seattle Native) and have never seen such incompetent service as I did today at the Gulf Dr. & Us Hwy 19 location. We went through the drive through and were handed our first cup while waiting for the second, only to notice a long strand of hair stuck between the stopper and the lid into the drink. Upon trying to get their attention while waiting for our second drink, everyone was chatting and talking and never noticed us until they handed us the second drink. They took the cup with the hair and handed us an ice cold drink (that was supposed to have been hot in a hot cup). After realizing it was cold we swung around and went back inside, only to find two other people returning their drinks. The staff inside was completely entertained by each other and never acknowledged that there was even a problem. There was never even an apology. Usually we get such great service at Starbucks, but not here. Highly disappointing.

I had gone to this location during the B1G1 free on the holiday beverages promotion was going on this past week from 2-5pm. I arrived 4 minutes prior to 2pm to get in line. When it was finally my turn to order at the register I had noticed it was 1 minute to 2pm. The cashier had told me she couldnt fulfill my order because it wasnt 2pm yet. I was a tad frustrated with this responsr, especially because I had to get back in line and there were already 7 people behind me at this time. They couldve at least took my order at that time while I was waiting on line AGAIN so then all I would have had to do was pay and be on my way out the door. No apologies were given or any other suggestions to make my transaction less frustrating. At least my drinks were made correctly.

I have been to this location a few times. I enjoy the politeness of several of the baristas and that they repeat the order back to make sure that it is correct before sending it to the barista making my drink if more than two individuals are there. I also like that the few that do know me by name refer to me using it.
