This place has a dirty mop smell. I remember I walked in a year ago and it was much worse and I walked right out. I decided to give it another chance today. Never again will I spend my money here. I had a few issues here. Their burgers are sloppy, everything tastes "off", service is bad and its way overpriced. I ordered my burger medium-well, it was bloody in the middle. Nobody came to check how the food was. Russian dressing tasted weird. The fries were weirdly sweet, almost had a funnel cake smell to them. I literally took one bite of the burger and was grossed out, it was undercooked and really soggy. The meat tasted like an unseasoned preformed frozen patty. No way to pick it up and eat it. I tried taking it apart and eating the things I liked on the burger. Well...Lettuce was weird, they put Romaine cut in squares (for a salad) on the burger. It was wilted. They put enough onions for about 4 burgers. Bottom of the bun was cut so thin that it was just a soggy mess. I slid the burger to the end of the table since our waitress wasnt attentive. She came by, saw there was one bite in my burger and just said, Ill get this out of your way. Didnt bother asking me how my meal was. (I ran out of water, never got a refill, wanted to order a shake, took 10 minutes to get her attention.) So my husband and I got 2 burgers, 1 small fry and 2 milkshakes for $38 before tip. If Im paying that much for a burger it should at least be edible. I will never make the mistake of walking into this place again, theres so many better options in the area. I would have to say it was probably one of the worst burgers Ive ever had in my life.

Had been a while since I was last in here. This place was pretty crowded when it first opened, but now every time I walk by I always see a bunch of empty tables when the restaurants nearby are all packed - and now I know why. Went in for late night burgers, ordered 2 burgers, one with fries, and one with a side salad, and 2 beers. Final price was $47. The burgers were fairly tasty, but not amazing, and neither of the sides were included. Small side of fries for $4 and a small salad for $5? If the burgers were $5 or $6 each this might have been alright, but instead they were $11 each. At this price a side should seriously be included, or at least heavily discounted to add-on. The atmosphere was pretty boring and the service at the end of the night was a little slow after the meals had come out. This place has a lot of potential, but until they can get the pricing straight for the market I would much rather wait for a table a couple doors down where the burgers that include toppings and fries are cheaper, tastier, and come with a better beer menu.

Very good burgers, beer, atmosphere, and service. Our family stopped in for dinner. It was not crowded. We all had burgers. Everyone liked their burger. I had the "Lola" burger (bacon, pickled onions, and cheddar cheese). The pickled onions are a unique offering. I recommend them if you like the vinegar taste. Burgers were about 6oz, a good size without being obnoxious. Good flavor all the way around. The atmosphere is an industrial look with iron pipe and metal tables. They have a kids menu, and our middle schoolers were not out of place. They have some patio seating, and the summer day we were there the place was open to the street. Lots of craft beers, including local and regional. The waitress was helpful and knowledgeable on the beer, and food. Service was very good. My only knock is that the price was a bit higher than some similar burger joints. We would eat here again.

I think Michael Simon should come freshn up his pickle bars personally. Pickle bar sucked, service sucked, burgers were over priced turd nuggets. Overall I will estimate that this place will be around for another year or so tops. I think for less money and better service there are way better places to pay less for a burger. Ye olde saloon, red coat tavern, vinsetta garage, vinsetta grille, jeezus even ronin a sushi bar has a great burger. Just goes to show you being a food network chef dosnt make your fellow employees Americas top anything. Garbage, get this place out of Royal oak ASAP!!! By the way looking for a good place, iron horse is amazing!!! Dosnt matter what you get.

Pros: pickle bar, $1 fries, spiked shakes Cons: bun quality, lard fries, order accuracy Our meal ended up going past closing time for B Spot Burgers, and I am thankful they were so kind in letting us finish. They allowed me to have a veggie patty version of the atomic burger, however, they forgot my requested tomato and lettuce. Their fries are cooked in lard, so they are unavailable to vegetarians. It was difficult to get our waitress attention. For the price I paid for my burger, I did not receive a satisfactory meal. I did enjoy the atmosphere, though.

Very good burgers. I was really surprised at how good the food was at the Royal Oak location. I ordered the build your own burger. I ordered beef, mushrooms, bacon, onion, Swiss and America white cheese, with mayo, and an order of fries. This is one of the better burgers that I have had in a long time. Burger was not super big, but it filled me up to my surprise (great flavor). Fries are tossed in rosemary, which gives them a good flavor. This place also has a good beer menu. I would suggest this place to any one who finds themselves in Royal Oak.

Ive eaten here on more than one occasion and I want to give it more stars because I really like Symons other restaurants, but unfortunately the only reason Id come back here to eat for the price I pay include: the sweet and spicy pickles and $1 pork rind happy hour special. The burger is good and hearty, but I really dont like the thin rosemary seasoned fries. I wish there was an option for steak or thick cut and salted only. The decor is motor themed, very masculine, and service is generally good.

The burgers and onion rings were delicious. I love the eclectic variety on non traditional toppings, on a perfectly cooked Angus beef burger. They also have a pickle bar. Tried the pickled green tomatoes! Yummy. Gave another flavor and texture to my already delicious burger. I had the Fat Doug. My friend and waiter recommended the Lola or New Jack City. Waiter Josh had great personality and customer service skills. Recommending and Returning.

No exaggeration when I say this is on my top 3 best burgers Ive ever had. The pretzel bread is so delicious and the meat is cooked to perfection. Every item sounds better than the one before. You wont go wrong with anything here. Also, make sure to get the fries. The mean is not complete without them.

This is hands down my favorite place to grab burgers and beer. The service is quick and efficient, the beef is always cooked to perfection, honestly its heaven in my mouth. And the beer menu is vast. The bartenders/ waitresses know exactly what to suggest if youre stumped!
