Recently visited Ginopolis and was very disappointed with the service and food we received. Sat down, 25 minutes later, waitress finally asks if we would like to order drinks. Of course we do, weve been sitting for 25 minutes. Drinks come 30 minutes later! Half an hour after that we finally order dinner and second drink order. Dinner comes before the drinks. Waitress kept saying that our drinks were at the bar. ?? Were we supposed to go get them?? Brisket was very tough, we sent back 4 orders with brisket. At this point we just want to leave, however, 30 minutes after we sent our food back, we had to find our waitress to get our bills. Needless to say, I will be traveling to Cincinnati for Ribs and Brisket. Wont be going to Ginopolis again.

The customer service I experienced on my first visit just yesterday 05/24/2013 was completely unacceptable. I called to order a chicken ceaser salad and asked the RUDE "LADY" on the phone approximately how long for my take out and she said very in a snarky voice "15 minutues" then SLAMMED THE PHONE IN MY EAR!... When I arrived, I approached the bar for my take out and was met by the same unprofessional rude lady that addressed me as "Chicken Ceaser"!?! while pointing her finger. As far as the food....it was WORSE than the customer service. $13.00 for a piece of lettuce and cold chicken that had a rubber texture..... not so much.....I wouldnt feed the food from this place to my dogs! First and last experience.

Went there Saturday afternoon, May 14,, 2016. There was no one to greet me or seat me at a table. I finally seated myself. No waitress or waiter came. After 10-15 minutes I went back to the service desk and found several service people talking. I asked for service. After another long wait a waitress came and took my order. The iced tea was so weak it was like iced water. The waitress finally served me my lunch but never came back to check on me. Again I had to go back to the service desk and ask for service. The worst possible service and worst iced tea. The place is going down hill.

Fabulous restaurant with prompt service, succulent food and a friendly environment. The proprietors introduced themselves and asked me how I was doing - a real class act. I highly recommend the blackened catfish or the grilled marinated lamb chops "Greek Town Style" for entrees and the baked mac & cheese or vinaigrette coleslaw for sides. Of course the BBQ is the best around. I will definitely dine at Ginopolis again.

The service was excellent gentlemen helping us is very kind and helpful the food was off the hook the brisket was excellent the ribs were delicious to St.Louis style didnt have the Montgomerys but the St.Louis were delicious the sides are great everything was just a wonderful experience had a wonderful time just so happens my sisters birthday so I want to thank them very much

Unless you want to be treated like a burden I do not suggest eating here! Good food but pricy for what they offer. Parties 6 and up require an 18% tip which is fine if they treated you like a guest. Who I assumed were the owners were too busy visiting with their friends to acknowledge our concerns. Definitely would not go back !

wonderful experience. the food and wait staff were excellent. I was there twice this weekend and both times the owner was there making sure everything was good and we were enjoying our night. I was there Friday night with a group of 11 and there were no mistakes everything was spot on. Outstanding job Ginopolos!

Stopped in late for dinner. Priced right for BBQ. Texas brisket was good but au jus it came in a bit too oily and a bit too salty. Nothing that made it unedible. Might be an older-generation restaurant but one of the patrons I talked to bought me a beer, so no points lost on that front.

Came here first time, bad experience, I will never come back. Food was not fresh at all, chicken was brought to the table cold, you could tell was cooked days before. As well were the ribs. The order included desert and they never brought it to the table. For sure not coming back

Terrible service and awful food. Even the iced tea was lousy. Lots of has-been celebrity photos on the wall show that it may have been good 30 years ago. Enjoyed being with my family-even this dump couldnt spoil that. Its hard to believe this place is still in business.

If youre looking for value, this isnt your place. Little food for the money. Taste is nothing special. Atmoshpere is "meh". Table service wasnt that quick, considering the place wasnt busy. Server was pleasant, however. Overall, no desire to come back again.
