Very interesting and delicious food, vegetarian options, comfortable surroundings, and a great drink list make this a preferred special occasion destination. My wife and I have gone several times, for birthdays, anniversaries, and one year a really interesting Thanksgiving dinner. Weve never left disappointed, but we usually leave very full. Last night, we went for Dearborn Restaurant Week. Theyd changed up the menu slightly from the posted menu, but aside from one dish that was removed the changes were all for the better. We chose the three small plates option. First, we got the always-interesting complimentary bread basket. The cheese flatbread, the only standby of the basket, is unique and a little too addicting. They also had tiny, warm onion buttermilk biscuits, and extremely delicious cheese popovers, a charming Midwestern addition to the basket. Along with the bread baskets, we had cocktails. I had the William Wallace, a Rob Roy variant made with aged vermouth. Excellent. She had the Absinthe Minded, a carefully layered absinthe cocktail with mint and a fruit liqueur. It seemed a little busy to me, though gorgeous. She really liked it, though; maybe it was just the contrast with the simplicity of mine. For starters, I had the roasted tomato bisque and she had the onion soup. (We split everything.) The tomato bisque was very good, with a basil oil curlicue giving it a lot of grace. The onion soup was terrific, with a rye crouton and really delicious raw milk raclette cheese. I do like my French onion soup a little more toasted than that, but this was great nonetheless. For our second course, she had the vegan sweet potato latke, which seemed a little precious to us in concept, but was the standout dish of the evening. Sweet and savory and a little umami combined into my favorite restaurant dish of 2017 so far. I had an almost equally good faro/apple/cherry(?) salad that doesnt seem to be on their regular menu, but should be. This was my favorite course by far. (Fair warning: I think our enjoyment of the final dishes was crimped by the fact that everything had been so good, and we were starting to get full.) For the main-ish course, she had the grilled cheese sandwich, which came with a tiny jar of tomato bisque and seasoned fries. We thought the sandwich, while delicious, had been a little too butter-soaked. In the context of "small plates", the fries were too much, and we hardly touched them. (They also were also extremely heavily seasoned with something that tasted like barbeque potato chip seasoning, which seemed weird.) I had another rotating special, mussels in wine with pears and shallots. I had them hold back the chorizo, so I cant fairly review it. They were nice mussels in a nice preparation, but Ive had better.

Tria offered a really nice dining experience. The service was excellent. We were seated promptly by the host, and our waiter, Paul, was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered great suggestions. I appreciate the attention we were given, seeing that we arrived about an hour before closing. I had the Tomato Bisque which was near heavenly. Smooth, creamy texture, with the flavor not overpowering. Next was the crab and lobster cakes, which were also amazing. They do not add any breading to bind the cakes, but rather, sear them enough to be held together. My dining companion, who is a flight attendant, has had authentic seafood from the likes of Baltimore and what not, said the cakes were "on par" with the real stuff. Next came the Pork Tria, which was good. I say good because some of the meat was overcooked, but for the most part, all the other meat was what I expected from such a restaurant. Pork itself isnt an extremely tender meat, but they did it justice. Surprisingly, the highlight I would say were the smashed potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts that accompanied the pork. The potatoes were extra creamy, and the sprouts had a nice, sweet essence to them. The finale was the ice cream fudge sundae. Im not big on sweets, but I must say I was thoroughly impressed. Ice cream is ice cream, but when paired with the soft chocolate brownies that had the right amount of crisp on the top, and the raspberry and chocolate ganache, it defintely fit the bill. I wouldve liked the brownies to be warm, but like I said, Im not big on sweets. We also had two enormous chocolate chip cookies, soft by the way, which were to die for. Pair those with the ice cream and youll be smiling. The main entree seemed to take a little long to come out, but I dont mind. Thanks Tria, Ill definitely come back!!

Literally the best meal Ive had in months. And Im only in Dearborn. The "2nd flight" actually tasted fun. Ive never had a slider feel "fun" before. And how is this the first time Ive had sausage made from fish. My god, it was amazing. Then the concoction of pork belly, jalapeños, endive, pine nuts and who knows what else, was exquisite. They actually burnt the roasted Brussels sprouts. But.... when I was asked if I wanted it remade, I said it was ok and not to bother. But the server couldnt stand to see something below standard, served. So she had a new one made anyways. And the chef actually came out in full white coat and hat to make sure this one was perfect. And Im so glad they did. Prepared properly, it was the best dish in the whole meal. This food was exactly as far over the top as I didnt even know I needed. So... full to the gills, I ordered two desserts to bring home with me. :-) Just extraordinary.

This is a great place. I often go there for breakfast or brunch. They allow you to choose from a great menu to create your own brunch. The chicken sausage is amazing. Their fruit is always fresh! They have a good nonalcoholic strawberry lemonade. Also have good mimosas and a margarita with barrel aged tequila that is amazing. The only reason I give this place a four out of five stars is because sometimes the service is just a little bit slower than expected but once the waitstaff attends to you, they are helpful

Ive stayed at The Henry twice and both times Ive given this restaurant a try. It looks great on the outside, but the food is awful. Its mediocre at best and inedible at worst. My coworker ordered the pork trio and it smelled so badly of feet, we both lost our appetite. On top of everything the service is sloooow. The only reason Im giving 2 stars is for the beer selection.

I would have given zero stars, but thats not an option. Food was overpriced, service was slow, inattentive, and begrudging. We asked for a couple of exceptions (no gluten), chips instead of fries-- both were ignored. We wanted to order a second glass of wine, the server was nowhere to be found. The food that did come was mediocre. Really disappointing.

“Best pizza in Michigan!” Went there for lunch in Dearborn without to much expectations cause I never have found a good pizza in Michigan...guess what??! I found my pizza place! Loved the detroiter pizza (cheese, pepperoni on top, tomato basil sauce, topped with shaved Parmesan cheese and Sicilian spice blend). Cant wait to be there again!
