Outback has been among my top 3 favorite steak houses for several years. Its expensive but thats ok for a great meal. About a month ago I went with my mom and son. The place was nearly empty and the food still took forever. It simply wasnt as good as usual either but I thought maybe it was my taste buds or something. When a few more groups came in it got loud. I dont understand why the staff seats people right beside each other. It may be easier on the wait staff, but customer experience should come first in my opinion. I was quite disappointed when we left but figured one not so great visit out of twelve wasnt worth avoiding them in the future. I went back tonight with my kids. Our visit tonight made the previous one seem great. Again, even though they werent crowded, everyone is herded together like cattle. The salads were about half the size of what we had always gotten before and lacked most of the normal ingredients (like croutons). They were basically lettuce, cucumber, a few tomatoes, a very hot onion (seemed like it had been refrigerated rather than being fresh). I love onions, but having grown up on a farm I prefer them fresh. The plates are so small that I had a hard time mixing up my baked potato without pieces falling on the table. My and my sons steaks were prepared as ordered. My daughters was not, but she didnt mind. All three lacked flavor though. None of us ate more than half of our meal. Going to a steak house is a pretty rare treat for us so I wont be going back to Outback for a very long time. Texas Roadhouse is very close and has much better service. Theyre always packed but the food doesnt take as long to come out.

It is definitely a corporate chain. But, usually the service is pretty much ok Not this visit, and when we were going to tell the manager, we were told he was not "on the floor". A BIG no-no in my book. It wasnt that late, but the biz was kinda slow, so shooting to the office for a few minutes would be ok. We NEVER saw the manager and the servers looked to be running the shift The servers were too busy doing sidework and the customers were bothersome to them. Asked for a drink in a tall glass. That didnt happen until the second round. A burger was asked for with no lettuce or tomato. Lettuce was spewing out the sides when the food runner put the plate on the table. No coasters. Had to get up and ask for the artificial sweetner for the unsweetened tea ordered. Never offered utensils to break open the crab legs. No wipes for hands after eating crab legs. The steak ordered rare was medium. Overall the food was ok, but the service was horrible. We would have told the manager or the server if we ever saw them. Dont get me wrong, the server was very sweet, when she was at our table. It is what it is, chain steakhouse.

Sehr gutes Restaurant der Steakhauskette, zwar nicht ganz billig, aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Die Bedienung hat uns am Empfang freundlich begrüßt, der Service war hervorragend und schnell. Die Steaks waren genau wie gewünscht (medium) und die Beilagen hervorragend. Das ganze Ambiente des Lokals ist sehr ansprechend und gemütlich. Ich war schon Dutzende Male bei Outback in den ganzen USA und wurde noch nie enttäuscht. Ich komme sicherlich wieder. Kostenlose Parkplätze gibt es direkt vor dem Lokal.

We eat at Outback about once a month and until yesterdat 10-5-08, the food had been supurb. Yesterday, our booth seats were dirty so we moved to another booth which was also dirty; finally we found a booth that was clean. Our server was very attentive. Our salad and coconut shrimp were great but the lobster tails and the prime rib were cold after we waited for over 45 minutes. When we complained, the plates were taken back along with the remainder of the coconut shrimp. Another 15 minutes passed and still no manager. Finally, someone came out to apoligze for the problems. This was a $60 meal that was worth about $15 for the salad and shimp. Not once did a manager offer to take any of the price away. Needless to say, that was our last visit. The fact that both dinners were cold and had to be removed warranted a sincere apology from the management which we did not get.

We have been going to the Outback Steakhouse #1123 in Gainesville Ga for years, but in the past year we make sure we go more often due to the staff. I always ask for one specific waiter Zach J. He is honestly the nicest guy and the best waiter I have ever had at any restaurant. I tip him even if we dont get to sit in his section. :). The world needs more employees/people like Zach. He is absolutely wonderful!! This location also has a excellent manager Justin Brown. I have seen him interact with his staff in the most respectful way and also help his team. Thats also hard to find, a manager that rolls up their sleeves to help out their employees. Keep up the great work!!!!

The staff was so sweet. We had great service but the food was just not very good. We had three people in our party and all felt the same. I had a chicken dish that had a sauce on top that tasted like it was right from a jar. The chicken tortilla soup was not good at all andbiylt had a very odd texture. It looked like it was maybe frozen and then not reheated properly. The other people in my party had a burger that was just ok and a steak that was tough. Overall great experience service wise but wouldnt go back for anything more than a blooming onion and a drink!!

My experience was bad for a number of reasons. Our waitress was rude and not attentive at all. We sat there with empty cups for a good 20 mins before she did anything about that. I asked for things I needed for my meal (i.e napkins, ketchup, etc.) and NEVER got them when I asked multiple times. Our food was not good. I ordered my steak medium well and I got it very very well done and my boyfriends steak was super salty. When we told the waitress she didnt do anything about it just said, "oh". I wont be returning to Outback.

Very slow service! Arrived with virtually no one in restaurant and waited almost 40 minutes for our food. We explained to our server we were in a rush and she did acknowledge the food was taking longer than normal. The food was delicious but obvious it had been sitting under a heat lamp. We ate rather quickly and our server was nowhere to be found for several minutes. We ended up asking another server to locate her. I used to work at outback and I was disappointed by our experience. The food was delicious, however.

It wasnt busy at all.... and for the place just getting a make over...they should have gotten their employees a refresher course in service. Sat down ordered our drinks tea,water...ordered our food..and just happened to realized we have no silver nor any of their famous loaves of bread. And then we finally get out salads 20minutes after ordering. It may be me but I like to have a Lil time to eat my salad or basically the salads a waste unless you want to let you food to get cold. Poor attitude and sloppy dressed.
