Most terrible service i have ever received. the waitstaff is deceiving. I called an order in for a corn beef sandwich. the waitress told me that they only have corn beef clubs which is as you know a 2 layer sandwich. I said ok thats fine and i asked her what comes on the club. she says bacon lettuce tomato but you can have it without the bacon. I said ok and then asked if fries come with the club sandwich. she said no that i would have to add that to the club for additional pricing. I then said I would rather have a side of hashbrowns. I also instructed her to add extra pickles with mayo and mustard. when i arrived at the location at 25385 five mile redford mi 48239 my order was not correct. What they gave me was a cornbeef sandwich not cornbeef club sandwich. the sandwich had only mayo no cheese and was accompanied by a side of fries in the same container. I was immediately anger because i asked for only hashbrowns and i was told that they do not serve cornbeef sanwiches just cornbeef clubs. they agreed to remake my order correctly and the total charge would be $9.96. I paid for my order while i waited for the correct order. when i finally received my order it was still incorrect. the cornbeef club sandwich did not have lettuce or cheese. as im looking at my order again in discontent a cook who was just sitting in the dinning area comes up to me and tells me it is correct. he argued that the mayo on the sandwich was melted swiss cheese as if i could not tell the difference. He snatched my food away and toss it and actually told me to leave. of course i said not without my money. PLEASE DO NOT BECOME A PATRON OF THIS STORE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY NOR DO THEY HAVE THE ABILITY TO ADMIT FAULT.

Staff is soooo nice. Food is great, especially when you consider the price. Not the greatest decor but if youre worried about that you probably wouldnt have made it pass the parking lot. This is a classic diner feel and home cooking. I LOVE these types of places and this one didnt disappoint. I still give it a great review but I wish you could write out what you want the tip to be. If you pay with a credit card the waitress will ask you so she can run it through the machine. This is by no part the waitresses doing, it seems that the only way she can process it is by knowing beforehand, but it does make for some awkwardness. Im a good tipper, so always give $5 even though our bill has never totalled $20 but I wish I could write it down.

I only had a carry-out breakfast but the staff was friendly and the food was good! It wasnt as cheap as a breakfast special at a major chain like Rams Horn, but the food was worth it. This is one of only two places Ive eaten at that makes their own corned beef hash instead of heating up canned stuff. -edit- Ive continued to eat breakfast there with my family almost every thursday and we thoroughly enjoy the food, staff, and prices.

Food is good,good prices..this is the only restaurant I know where you can get a filling breakfast for 2.99$. Doesnt get much better then that..the waitress is super nice and I have known the owners since I was about 12 years when I first Started going there...I like to support small businesses and am very glad they are still around.. Keep up the good work

The food is always good and fresh whether we dine in or pick up. They have the best tasting chili cheese fries in the surrounding area and an extremely friendly staff.

The food isnt that good for the price. The service is good, the girl who gets the food is very friendly.. Overall I wouldnt eat there it doesnt look clean either...

The chicken stir fry and coleslaw was better then most coney islands. It was cheap and fast. If you want cheap, fast and good food go here.
