This is me and my fiances favorite little family owned Coney island! From the out side it doesnt look like much, but the food is great! The owner is always there walking around making sure everyones orders are perfect and to there standards! One time my bacon wasnt crispy enough and he remade my whole order asap and gave me and my fiance both our meals and drinks for free and even gave us full to go cups for us! Absolutely love this place, the only thing I dont like is they have this mid 20s girl that works there and she has a huge attitude problem and shes rude to you if you call to place a carry out order or if you go in and sit down to eat. I called one time to place a carry out order. And I like my bacon and hash browns crispy and I told her that and her response was "well give us about 25-30 mins so we can burn your food for you" and it was in the most rudest tone ever, and a carry out order takes about 10-15 mins. She was so rude and when we do go in to eat she ignores us and flirts with the male customers and ignores when our orders are ready or gets the whole order wrong. She cant remember something you told her a min ago and it seems very clearly shes on some type of drugs when shes working most of the time. Cause shes so out of it and cant remember anything like your drink order and then brings back a refill thats not even the right beverage you ordered. She stumbles around the restaurant and drops stuff and slurring her words and gets almost everyones order wrong, then she blames it on cook. And the cook is absolutely amazing his food is delicious and does a great job prepping, cooking it and getting it to you fairy quick! Love this place and their food and the owner, the cook, the older lady that waitresses there (shes such a sweetheart) and the older gentleman who busses the tables. My fiancee and I still continue to eat here but something needs to be done about the other youngerI lady waitresses, people dont even want to stay after they see that shes working. I would give 5 stars if it wasnt for the younger waitress and her rudeness and getting our orders wrong like 2 days in a row. Other then that its a great little family owned restaurant! Would definitely recommend it and Tuesday is 99¢ Coney dog day, cant beat that!

I ordered some food yesterday 01/02/17. 2 grilled chicken pitas, order of fries and 2 chilli cheese fries. The pitas had brown shredded lettuce on them. The chicken looked old and dry. It kwas a mushy Pita and nasty. Our regular fries was old and look like its been sitting there forever. The chilli cheese fries were old and the cheese was just a block on the fries. My kids couldnt eat them. We are.very disappointed in what was made for us. I have been sick so I couldnt take it back up there. But I Will not be returning or will refer anyone to this place ever. I located this place by ratings and still was disappointed..

This place is great! Nice and courteous staff. Ive literally seen a staff member save someones life (she noticed that a drunk member of a group that had come in had gotten out of the car where they left him, fell onto the pavement onto his back and vomited. She ran out and flipped him over while paramedics were called. No one else would have seen him due to how the seating is arranged to face away from the windows.) They will always fix your food if you dont like something or if something is incorrect. Amazing people work there, please dont be rude to them.

Once again, I received the wrong food. This happened three times last year also, but I enjoy the food enough to give them another shot. Burnt again. I called and asked for a note for my order for another night and was asked to keep the wrong order until that time. WHAT?!? I was actually asked to keep food (that I didnt want in the first place) in unsealed containers in my house until I decided I wanted to eat there again. You have lost my familys business and soon my friends as well.

Just moved to neighborhood and looking for a Coney spot. Ordered carryout for wife, son, and myself. Turkey on the club was gross; the texture was weird and chewing it felt like it was full of water. It was almost gelatin-like. Chili tasted sour and watered down. I ordered a Reuben and it had no sauerkraut on it. Asked for a grilled chicken pita and received a fried chicken strip pita instead.

The portions are huge! The service is surpurb, my coffee was refilled a ton of times, and we were checked on the perfect amount (enough to show they care, but not trying to usher you out). I enjoyed that our waitress greeted a few customers by name. This place has a very nostalgic 90s diner feel, like a place grandma would take me to when I was young - ah, the feels! Will definitely be back!

I a regular at dearborn coney and I was continue untill I move away but will visit just to come back to dearbron coney island, the staff is hands down the most friendliest and welcoming around, jouli and louie are amazing cooks and will talk and joke with you while are waiting, best food around best prices I see them as my second family, love this place and always will

Not pretty but pretty good food and service. Being open 24/7 doesnt hurt its appeal either. Easy going atmosphere. Like it. Just upgraded my rating after trying their chicken kabob. Scrumptious. Tender pieces of chicken, peppers and onions all evenly prepared and over a tasty pita. As good as Ive had. You will be happy when you try it.

Dont let the outside of the building or the inside deter you, the food here is phenomenal and my favorite hangover cure. The tuna melt is my favorite, and all of their breakfast options are always amazing. Order the fries well-done since they usually arent very done otherwise. Skip the coneys here though, the sauce is underwhelming.

I call it the Mom & Pop joint. The local diner you can come to to enjoy good food , and not beat up your wallet ! Every thing made right in front of you , just the way I like it. Ive NEVER had anything less then excellent. I highly recommend this place , their Paul Bunyan breakfast will stuff even the biggest of bellys !! :)

I tried to order a strawberry Sunday and the waiter was super rude and said they didnt have it. Then I tried to order another dessert and she said they dont carry dessert at all. Even tho the printed menu has a section for desserts and a written sign next to the cash register listing the desserts that they "have."

Love the breakfast special, sliders on the cheap in this classic dive kinda like a movie set from 1960. Clean fast friendly service great chili coney dogs, fries slathered with chili n cheese rules. Get a mega ham sandwich with a bowl of soup to make the belly happy.

A fond memory was made here for the 4 years I took my son to this great establishment , the staff was always polite and the food was always great , my son received Mickey mouse pancakes and loved them on more than one occasion . He always asks to go here .
