I have tried numerous menu items at Hogzillas and have never been disappointed. My personal favorites include Turkey Reuben; Chicken Nachos loaded with smoky pulled chicken for a unique nacho experience; Catfish Dinner with a light crispy breading, never greasy; Chicken Wings, smoky tasting and oh so, delicious; Pulled pork and/or chicken with bbq sauce and their Homemade Potato salad. The smoky flavor of the meat comes through in the a delightful way. The use of fresh, locally grown ingredients add to the taste and texture of the food. The restaurant is clean, and well kept. Friendly and Knowledgeable servers make this a place I would recommend. The number of customers and take out orders shows this is a place people come back to again and again. I know I do.

Clearly not the best BBQ. I stopped in here around 10/3/12 and got some rib tips and 1/2 chicken, with their sweet sauce on the side. The chief problem at Hogzillas is that the meats do not appear to be smoked, cooked over a flame, etc. The rib tips did not have a pink smoke ring, had no smoke flavor, were tough, and mostly bones. The chicken was over cooked, dry and tasteless. Again, no pink smoke ring on the chicken. What smoke was on the chicken was comprised of a sooty coating of dried-up skin. The sweet sauce was flat-out horrible. If you try the BBQ, here, opt for the Sweet Baby Rays sauce they offer. The girl taking orders was helpful, but when I asked "Whats good?"....she should have said the fried chicken at Chicken Coop, down the road!

VERY GOOD! We found this place using an IPhone app......at first look, you may want to doubt going in....but dont! The decor is kinda crappy but the place is clean, staff was very nice and the food is AWESOME! We had the buffet and it was well worth the price. The only thing that we didnt like were the beans....they were hard, but it is possible they had just put them on since it was 5pm. That was the best smoked pork and chicken I have had in ages. This place could easily be featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives!

Had Hogzilla today at Binder Park Zoo for Parker corporation event! I love pork and have ate a lot of it. Not impressed with the pulled pork sandwich I had today. I could taste the smoke but nothing else but barbecue sauce. Didnt taste any rub or spices and basically had no flavor. Very disappointed. Mac and cheese was ok, little too much pepper. Maybe it was the effects of catering for the lack of flavor but I have had better pork at pubs than that. Not a fan, if I have the chance will have to try the restaurant.

Good prices and good buffet but if you get there later stuff is all gone and they dont tell you till after you order it. Pros: excellent sauces and some of the best pulled chicken ever. Cons: out of cornbread and baked beans an hour before closing. Also out of milk for kids menu. Wifes chicken was dry but good flavor. Over all some excellent stuff some average stuff and some stuff not there at all.

My buddy and I stopped there on the way back to Chicago from Detroit after watching the Bears on Monday Night Football. We went there because of the high reviews but were very disappointed. The ribs were rubbery. The baked mac & cheese was pretty tasteless except for a lot of pepper in it. The potato salad was good but not great. Overall it wasnt terrible but we agreed it was a place worth avoiding.

Visited for my first time yesterday. Staff was very courteous and helpful and Id even say genuine. I had the brisket, pulled pork and sausage with hot and mild sauce on the side. Food was simply amazing! Warning...the hot sauce is actually hot but delicious! I also tried a couple of the craft beers and they were served cold and were great! I will be a return customer for sure!

seen this place on my first visit but did not go in and eat. second time here in battle creek, MI and I eat dinner there yesterday and I know I found my new stop to eat at. Food was amazing, the staff was great and all the different BBQ smell inside just make your mouth water when you step inside If you are ever in Battle Creek, MI stop here for some food, youll love it

I may have to try this place again after reading all of the favorable reviews. When I went there the food tasted like imitation BBQ. Like people that didnt really know what they were doing were trying to make bbq. And the place was dirty. I dont mean a little bit either. I wont go into a ton of detail about that tho. I went right after it opened so maybe it is better now.

I been visiting Hogzilla since it was called Sonnys and it been approved in quality and flavor.I usually order sampler platter with couple of there sides heavenly Mac and cheese and Potato salad. Ribs are great with perfect smoke and spice flavor. Brisket is melt in your mouth tender. They make there own bbq sauce which I buy by bottle for home use its msg free.

we ordered $40 in of take out and it was gross, everything tasted stale. pulled pork and chicken was just meat with sause dummped on top, corn bread was dry, fries were cold and stale, this is the last time we get hogzilla. over priced for for what you get. Just nasty!

Great food, great service. The catfish is awesome and my husband is partial to the Brisket and of course the pulled pork is great too! Macaroni & Cheese is my favorite side while my husbands is the bbq spaghetti. Its one of our favorite Friday night places to go!

Good was really good. You can smell the hickory and fruit tree smoke when you walk in. Owner was there serving tables and we had a good chat about his history. Definitly worth a stop and bite when youre in town.

Stopped in on lunch and was surprised to find a clean and friendly environment. I tried the pull pork sandwich and fries. They both tasted good and satisfied my hunger. Way better than a Snickers bar.

The brisket is my favorite thing on the menu, but everything is fantastic. The owner is a great guy, keeps a clean restaurant with good prices and great food.
