Ive been before and LOVED it! But went again this past Saturday and after asking some specifics of their Dark and stormy drink (what kind of rum etc.) I was given a disgusting lime cordial. It was undrinkable. The waitress purposely ignored me despite calling after her. I told her prior I couldnt drink lime cordial and would prefer just ginger beer and dark rum, she explained that they add ginger simple syrup for an extra kick in their version... that sounded good so I agreed. We left and I paid $8 for a drink I didnt/couldnt drink. Maybe the waitress could have turned this around when I asked her for soda water as the drink was horrid... she didnt care at all. Consistency in the bar business keeps a bar going.... will never waste that kind of money again for fear I get another horrible drink.

This has always been a spot for my friends and I. Its a bit dark in there, which always brings about mysterious characters (love to meet new people) and close quarters makes this easier Bathrooms are not the best, theyre fine for a bar. You might have to yell a little bit to have your friend a couple feet over hear you. Bar tenders are courteous.

This review does not reflect the service or quality of Ally Bar. The bartenders and servers are usually attentive and quick, and the drinks are well made and consistent quality. I just do not like the venue :its dark, cramped, and loud. If you have more than four people in your group its not ideal. Its not for me personally, ; but not a bad bar!

Out of state for the weekend, was walking around the city and couldnt really find a chill bar around 8-9pm. Walked by this spot and it pulled me in. With the artistic art on the wall and the atmosphere. Bartender is very polite and nice, would definitely come back when Ill be visiting again.

Alley Bar has some really cool, creative drinks made with fresh ingredients in a somewhat dive bar setting. The bartenders are pretty skilled and can make a variety of craft cocktails, not just your run of the mill cocktails. Monday is happy hour day, with $5 drinks all day/night long.

This place makes some really nice (if a bit pricy) cocktails. Its got a dark alley feel with an old style bar which live up to its name. It has some good offers too depending on the day of the week. I think Mondays have 5$ cocktails.

Cozy atmosphere. Attentive staff. Was really pleased with the live Dj rather than just some Pandora Playlist or something. Drinks were very well made. Not sure if this was a one off but their selection of alcohol was limited.
