Awful customer service! Never take a group of children here for a tour or birthday party! After screwing up the first reservation for a troop to go to the bakeshop, they were then so crazy about the number of children attending that when two got sick an hour before the tour, they forced the girl scout troop to pay for them anyway. Would strep throat in their store been a better idea? They seem to have an over inflated opinion of themselves and their business. They may want to consider welcoming community members and groups in and thinking about the long term effects rude customer service will have on their business.

Love this place! From small bites of yum like the whoopee pies or macaroons to cookies to elegant tiramisu and specialty cakes. Ive had them all! Fresh is the key word here. I feel I could close my eyes and point to anything in the case and find the perfect treat to bring to a friends house or a visit to my mother. Mary has made several cakes for me for different events: graduation party, Thanksgiving. I get rave reviews with lots of oohs and ahhhs.

I love the bakeshop because their food rivals no others. However the boys in the front store are not friendly and personable. They seem like they dont even want to be working and do the bare minimum. The bakeshop would do so much better in the community if they had a happy person thats genuinely happy to see you, and not just obviously faking.

Picked up some "gluten free" whoopie pies over the weekend. My husband and daughter were sick all day and night after consuming. My husband said they were not even that good (tasted gritty from the GF flour or whatever they put in these things). Nonetheless, we will not be returning to the Topsfield Bakeshop.

Good food. Bad service. Walked in with my young daughter and one of the boys behind the counter was texting, when he put the phone down on the counter to serve us there was a sexual photo of a female clearly visible. The worker seemed annoyed that we came in and was very abrasive. Will not be coming back.

I bought an assortment of whoopie pies for a library fund raiser. The Topsfield Bakeshop owners and staff were friendly and helpful. The whoopie pies were amazing - especially the pumpkin whoopie pies! Everyone loved them. I was very happy with the experience.

How has wonderful bake shop not been reviewed already?! Love their gluten free deserts, particularly the whoopie pies and macaroons. Family members have used them for cakes and we often use their deserts for thank you gifts.
