I recently hosted an event at this facility and was impressed by the quality of food and service. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but I was concerned to learn how little they were paid for their work. This review is largely based on those concerns. At booking, I was mislead to believe the staff received a “generous wage,” and like others, wrongly assumed that an 18 percent “administrative fee” represented a gratuity. I was disappointed to learn this was not the case. Instead, as it was later explained, staff members earn a flat rate, amounting to less than $100 per shift (not a generous wage by any stretch of the imagination), gratuity not included. I have hosted other events at similar facilities along the North Shore, and have often been impressed by the generous wages and benefits offered to banquet staff and other employees. It is disconcerting to learn that a small business largely supported by working and middle class families does not fairly compensate or support its own workers. I will be bringing my business elsewhere until management strongly reevaluates this facility’s pay structure and starts to support its employees.

My experience was, I went to a funeral that was catered through Lynnfield store. The people that deliver the food were very nice. We had meatballs that were terrible!!! Full of salt not good for anyone that has high blood pressure! They looked good but they werent! We also had Chicken broccoli ziti , dry no sauce very bland and very littlecicken and broccolli!! I think they forgot sauce!!!! Ive worked caterers before and waitress for years!!! And I would Never. Go to this place again!!!Plenty of ziti! Also has chicken Mar not bad but salty! Whats with all the Salt my god!!!!! Most people dont even use salt!!! They ordered cold cut platter never got it but certainly plenty of Bread! Deserts ordered for 100 people 2 platters 4 dozen ????? Something wrong there Also sent 5 salads not enough dressing ran out! Coffee we putout 3 cartons had 5 left over. Like I said it was a dam shame when u spend $2300 on this??? Never would I recommend anyone to spinelli s ever. bad bad

I recently got married at Spinellis on October 5th. Spinellis was absolutley great from start to finish. Planning a wedding is not easy but the staff at Spinellis make it so much easier on you. My wife did most of the planning with the staff at Spinellis and they made her it so much easier on my wife. Everyone there was so very helpful and accomodating with the planning. The day of the wedding, everything went smooth. They decorated the hall and ceremony room beautifully. They did an amazing job on the cake! And the food was outstanding! My guests are still talking about how nice it was at Spinellis and how great the food was. I come from an italian family who are tough critics on italian food and they said " the food tasted like a family memeber was cooking it". Thank you Spinellis for making our wedding day very memorable and stress free!

I ordered a cake 05/10/2017 it was supposed to be for Mothers Day 05/14/2017....I went to pick up the cake and they didnt have the order, it was nit the first time that I ordered from that place, but for sure it is going to be the last. I had to go to Shaws because it was late to order from anther place... Very disappointed!!!!

Rediculous amazing food and deserts. One of those authentic local Italian formal restaurants. Hard to find sometimes in New England but this local spot has gotten better over time. I suggest the cheesecake and chocolate dipped chocolate chip canolli. Pizza is really good there and so is the arancini balls.

I had a prom here, the function rooms are very nice but nothing extravagant. The food was nothing special but good enough for prom. You can also bring your own catering if you dont want their food.

My wedding cake was wrong I ordered a yellow cake and chocolate top cake. I receive a small yellow top cake and the big one chocolate. Really bad experience for a expensive cake.
