Im a Vietnamese American and Ive traveled all around the world to South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, and China. Ive also visited California (I was born there) multiple times and tasted their famous Korean Town sustenance ranging from Kimchi, Bibimbap, and the like - no where else has better tasting Korean cuisine than From the Seouls varying menu and its located in North Dartmouth on the East Coast of all things. "How would a small random Korean Restaurant fair compare to the rest of the world", I wondered. Turns out, they do just fine and if not, better. Im always extremely satisfied with their friendly customer service, the ability to choose my own seating (it says to do so on a sign right after entering, no need to haggle with the waiter for THAT spot), and lastly, the quality of their food. I KNOW what good tasting Korean food is (heck, I cook them myself) and From the Seoul really delivers. And as for the other persons very exceptional 1 star review complaining about the "wobbly" tables which may have something to do with ones physique, and the "sticky rice", that level of texture is actually very hard to achieve consistently and is actually prized by most Asians. I guarantee you if you go to any store like Stop n Shop, Shaws, BJs, etc you could buy any of their rice brands, try to cook it yourself, and youll never have the soft, sticky rice texture. Sticky rice is good because it helps absorb all the flavors of the dish including the sauce. It also makes for eating with chop-sticks, the primary Asian utensil, more convenient. By the way, their price is EXTREMELY REASONABLE and the amount of food they serve leaves enough for leftovers.

I really want to like this place as the Korean options in the Dartmouth and surrounding areas are fairly limited. The table options are odd. They have some sit down tables but not enough. We have often found ourselves with parties of 5 or more relegated to 2 bar height round tables pushed together. This makes if very difficult to eat when in a large group. Also the food is not on par with even a mid class Korean restaurant. Any ramen dish is reminiscent of a 20 cent pack of ramen from you local grocer. The service is delegated to one server whom often looks at us as if orders are slow to process in his head. I really am not trying to be mean here but service is not good at all. If youre looking for a good Korean experience this is not the place. If you want a Korean fix then this might just do it for you.

Went in on a Friday around 5pm. There was no wait and the server greeted us promptly. I was a little disappointed there was no fresh brewed iced tea, but they do have hot tea. The food was reasonably priced and the portions were plenty for my wife and I. We had the beef bulgogi. It was really good, but it had green peppers in it, which was different from other bulgogis that Ive had before. The banchan was was really good as well. The kimchi was fresh and spicy. It complimented the sweetness of the bulgogi nicely. The servers were awesome! So nice and helpful. My wife and I will definitely be eating here again.

I had high hopes with all the positive yelp reviews. The two tables I tried to sit at were wobbly. I ordered steamed and fried vegetable dumplings and the fried rice. The dumplings were mostly vegetable protein and not actual vegetables and did not taste good. The rice was just sticky rice with sautéed veggies that didnt taste good either. Do yourself a favor and head to Teriyaki Korean House in Providence if you want great Korean cuisine.

Food was amazing. Super fresh and flavorful, presented very well. Prices were also super reasonable, a third of what you would pay in Boston or Providence. Four stars for service. While our waiter was calm and polite, service was slow and we never received plates for our appetizer or additional the chop sticks we asked for. Overall, I would absolutely come back. The quality is great and the food is definitely crave-worthy.

The food and price is good; its more of a comfort place and not going to compete with the Korean House in Providence, but its not setting out to do that. The one star review is unbelievably harsh, and makes me wonder if the diner has ever had his/her world view challenged by truly 1 star food - this establishment surely doesnt serve that.

Ive dined in and ordered take out. Food is always well prepared and tastes great. Staff is quite friendly. Usually music playing. Korean drama or videos on the TV. Seating is varied and limited. I <3 the radish kimchi and Dak Bulgogi. They also have free WiFi in case you want to tune out.

I love this restaurant. The food is delicious, the portions are a great value, and you wont be disappointed. Parking can be a challenge because of Texas Roadhouse next door, but dont let that discourage you. This place is s hidden gem!

It is a bit of a wait (go early if you are planning to go to a movie afterwards), but the food is delicious and the prices are decent. Great place to order a few things and share on a date.

Had bibimbap. Beef was cooked perfectly. The veggies were all seasonal. The egg on top was perfectly runny, making a sauce on the rice. Beer was cheap and delicious. Wish I lived closer!
