Why 2 stars margaritas were decent and they do make homemade tortillas although they need to be cooked a bit more. The service was excellent!!!! For people who have not really eaten great and authentic Mexican food Im sure this will be a nice meal. I was so bummed to find out how "saucy" everything was...drowning in it. To make matters worse the sauce was all from a can whaw wa whaaaw. The pork was rubbery so it had not been slow cooked down, it was also cut into tiny dog food looking bits. Im not sure why these restaurants dont slow cook the pork the day before and hand shred, get rid of this can sauce yuk. The salsa was odd and the mild one was more like ketchup, it might have been ketchup mixed with salsa Horrible!! The beers were COLD and that was awesome!!! Maybe if you wanted a burrito, taco or quesadilla this would be an awesome pick. The flan was over cooked and someone dumped a whole thing of vanilla extract in there. Homemade Mexican is easy, it just takes a little planning.

Somebody told me this was fantastic food, no it is not. The guacamole wasnt fresh it was out of a bag and tasted like it. It was runny and tasted bland. My silverware was dirty, my cup was also dirty . Their homemade flour tortillas werent even cooked all the way. Did not enjoy any of the food, the chimichanga was just chicken wrapped up in a flour tortilla with horrible guacamole and sour cream on top with a little lettuce and a couple tomatoes. I can say without a doubt we will not be back there .

This is the best Mexican Restaurant in Oregon. Whenever we are in town we eat here at least once. Anything on the menu Im sure it great, but I am partial to the tacos. Best tacos Ive ever eaten - even better than my mothers! If you dont try this restaurant you are missing out on the best place to eat in LaPine. Staff is friendly, dining room is clean and the food is great.

You will miss this place if you dont know its there and what a shame that would be! The food is amazing, the staff are friendly and quick. There are beautiful murals all over and the tables are huge, lots of room for the crazy amount of food you get for the price. Dont miss out on this place if you are passing through town!

Stopped here on our way through to go camping and it was great! The best corn tortillas ever, made fresh. The margarita was perfect, everything was delicious. We loved the Chipotle Enchiladas! I can see why the reviews are so good, and more importantly, why there were so many cars parked outside.

We have family & friends that visit from AZ every year. A visit to Cinco de Mayo is a must. I prefer their tacos over ANY I have ever had at even the best mexican restaurants in AZ. Having lived in AZ for 27 it was a wonderful surprise to find great mexican food right here in La Pine.

Very unexpected find while traveling for work. Salsa is great. Ordered pollo asado Monterey, and the chicken is super tender. Staff is all very friendly. Worth the try.
