Weve eaten here many times and though the service is good, the food is sub-par, mediocre at best. Last time I was there I had a bean and cheese burrito and the tortilla was so rubbery I couldnt even eat it. Tinas frozen burritos from the supermarket are better. Sad reality is that many Taco Bell items are also better than Mazatlan. And since Taco Bell is next door I dont see much reason to keep coming back. Also the beans here are a grayish color which is nasty and the rice is dry and doesnt taste great. You can judge a Mexican restaurant by its beans and rice and theres speaks volumes about this place.

We have eaten here for ages. Tonight we had the most terrible service, after dropping off the food our waitress never came back. We finally had to ask someone to get her so we could get our water refilled. A large table of young teens behind us, with absent parents. We love kids but couldnt carry on a conversation with our guests across our table, the kids were so loud. And first time we had food that was poor. All in all a bad night. When we paid they asked us how it was and we told them. They ignored our dissatisfaction and suggested maybe it will be better next time. We wont be back.

OMG So so so bad I hope to give them zero. Maybe because I am asian but it sucks just sucks I do not recomend this restairant to asian maybe to mexicans But the chips were good and also the service was nice. 한국 사람들 먹지 마세요 매우 맛 없어요.멕시칸 음식 좋아하시는 분은 머 걍 드시고 처음 도전할사람은 하지 마세요

I love Mexican food, just moved to the area so went to try this and found the food very bland, and the sizes where disappointing. Since this was close to my house I gave it a second try a month later hoping the previous time something went wrong, but of course I got the same treatment. Atmosphere is nice there, but I put atmosphere last, I will go to a shack if it has good Mexican food. Service was fine.

TERRIBLE. Sure the food was good, pretty much like other Mexican restaurants, but the service was awful. They rushed us a group of about 13 on orders and when everyone was saying their goodbyes and whatnot they acted like we were leaving without paying, forcing extra tips on everyone, forcing unpaid checks on me and my friend even though the others were right outside hugging and laughing. TERRIBLE.

The food was terrible. Rice was so dry it was more like homeny, the canned orange sauce over the pablano chilis was horrible abd cold. They served our dinner on hot plates so Im assuming the sauce is fresh "out of the can" instead of fresh from the stove. Ive been coming to Mazatlan for many years and it has gotten progessively worse. Im pretty sure this was our last try.

Too many Mexican Restaurants make their food way too spicy and many people do not like real spicy food. Mazatlan is great because you can always ADD all the spicy hot you want and it doesnt ruin it for other people. If they are so "bland" and "blah" why are they such a big, popular chain with packed seating at every dinner time? They are WONDERFUL!! :)

EAT HERE TO GET SCREWED OUT OF MONEY!!!! The food was ok but they charge you for stuff that is normally free and dont tell you there is an extra cost and when you say something they say oh ya theres a charge and refuse to remove it! Just tell people there is a extra charge after eating here I feel ripped off I will never eat here again! This is theft!

The waitress we had was very rude and got upset that i wanted a daquiri without having my ID, which I hant noticed that I didnt have on me. The nachos I ordered were not savory, and had enough beans to fill a bowl. My wife ordered the shrimp cocktail and didnt like it because it was served hot instead of cold like she asked.

Food was very good! They provided chips, salsa that was spicy and tasty flavored refried beans to start. My only complaint was the waitress who was very nice and patient but hard to waive down when you need her. However we went during the lunch rush so there could be factors at work. Very good experience!

Sadly, I can only give 5 stars. We have eaten here for a decade. Every family members birthday is celebrated here. We are as good as family, and you will be treated the same way. Food is really the best and the service is amazing, not pretentious, just what you need.

My go-to spot for affordable and yummy Mexican food. I havent tried a dish that Ive disliked! The Pollo a La Crema is really good, so are the Fajitas with chicken, steak, and shrimp. If you go, definitely try their Fried Ice Cream, you wont regret it!

This place is AMAZING!!! The service was a little slow but the food definitely made up for it. Totally worth the wait! My husband comes from a lifetime of eating great Mexican food and this was some of the best hes ever had!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This establishment has incredible atmosphere and design but the food was bland. I have been on several occasions and every item is bland, flavorless, and overall taste disappointing. Service ok a little on the slow side. Wouldnt recommend it.

Long wait to be serviced. The waiter was hard to understand. There was a dead bug on the table for which no apology was given or any sort of compensation for that experience. The food was mediocre at best. Go to Madelines instead.

They sized me up and decided I should sit by the noisy kitchen. I ordered a Margarita at the beginning of the meal and the waitress never once checked if I needed another. Was pretty much completely neglected the whole meal.

Prices are a bit high but this visit wasnt too bad. We sat in the bar which usually means its quieter but sadly not always the best service. Still love going there 1 time a month though for lunch.

Mazatlan is a local legend. Amazing food. If im going to Mexican in Central Oregon, my first and only choice is Mazatlan. The food typically arrives in under 15 minutes.

Always enjoy Mazatlan. Salsa is quite spicy and you get beans with your chips and salsa. They have taco sauce in it.
