so, im in town from orlando florida and am watching sunday morning tv with family. i see the phantom gourmet and see this place called the chicken connection. well, i go and check it out,. i went to the one in Haverhill, mass on rt 97. i get a chicking finger dinner with roasted potatoes and mac&cheese!!! wow, the chicken was great!!! the roasted potatos were freezing cold! i asked the girl if i could get some warm potatoes and she says, "well, thats what we have out"......really!!!???? thats your answer..wow....so i finished the chicken grabbed my drink and left. i dont think i was asking for alot, or being a pain, i just wanted some warm potatoes!!!! im going to take the family to the one in Hooksett and see how it is. the staff were all little kids and just didnt care.

I have been a customer of yours since its inception. Lately I have become confused as to why you run out of roasted chicken, why should i be forced to eat fried chicken !!!! I have been there at 5:30 p.m and 7:00p.m and have been told that it is very popular. Perhaps Im missing something , if in fact as your various counter people tell me why dont you increase your production? Perhaps you can shed some light. As you might be aware there is a healthy movement to reduce the amount of saturated fat in our diet. Please do your part and offer a heart healthy alternative. Bob

Last night was our first time eating at the chicken connection. Everything has a fresh taste and I honestly believe they carefully prepared a healthy meal for my family. That freshness was rejected in the prices. They were just a little higher than I expected, but worth it. The restaurant was clean, and service was pretty quick. Since it was my first time I didnt realize we needed to get our own drinks and silverware, but the cashier pointed me in the right direction when I went back up to ask. My family really enjoyed the food and experience!

All I am wondering is how can their "Worlds Best Chicken Pie" be served cold? Everything we ordered, from the "Opened Faced Sandwich", Chicken Fingers,and the chicken pot pie was cold. They warmed it up but it was still cold. The soup was also luke-warm. This is my first and last time that I will go there. The Phantom Gourmet must have been there on a Great day. The sides were just scooped onto your plate with an ice-dream scoop. High School Cafeteria style. The cole-slaw was excellent though.

Couldnt wait to order my chicken for the super bowl game on Sunday. Sign in front of the store said open 1-5pm. I call around 3:00 to put my order in and was told they were only open for catering. Hmmm. Signed said open 1-5pm - but not really open unless they are doing your catering. Theyve been around forever, only a matter of time until their laziness catches up to them and a up start puts them out of business. Busiest day of the year, and theyre not open.

Went here with the in-laws after seeing a review on the phantom gourmet.......have made this mistake before! The fried chicken could not be any more tasteless if they tried....no seasoning, no spices, just plain breading on chicken. Mashed potatoes were watery, no butter or anything else in them.....pretty much inedible. The gravy did not help either. We will never be back, large portions of bad food.....

I always ordered their party tray of chicken legs for my BBQs. But this this time I decided to eat inside, I got the rotisserie leg quarter. But someone forgot to tell them that you get more than just the leg. It was pretty said to see how much little meat was on it. My wife ordered the same and got that same little amount of meat. There was not thigh meat at all. Wouldnt order their again.

A hometown staple! The food here is legendary in town. Everyone knows that the chicken connection has not only the greatest food around but the service is unmatched! Not to mention the old school diner vibe is amazing. Every customer is treated like family and every meal tastes like it was cooked at home with love. An absolute must stop if traveling through Haverhill!

Stopped by tonight to buy dinner - the 1/2 roasted chicken with veggies. They only had 1/4 chicken and would not pair it with a piece of fried chicken to complete a plate. Cant imagine that they are this unyielding but the clerk would not bend. Also wanted to by for a group on Saturday but will not do that.

Very good chicken. Limited salad bar. Vegetables are decent, better than they used to be. Love the mashed potatoes and gravy. Also love their turnovers for dessert. Would be nice if had sugar free iced tea option bc I am Not a fan of coca cola products. Family Friendly atmosphere. Can eat on small outdoor deck.

I was intrigued by their phantom gourmet approval sticker for their pot pie...but soon realized their food is on the plain side for my taste! I prefer flavorful dishes, but it just tasted "okay", nothing extraordinary. Not worth the phantom gourmet approval, but good if you dont feel like cooking.

Came a few weeks ago and the chicken tenders were hard and so drenched in Buffalo sauce that they were hard to eat. Came tonight and they were out of at least 3 sides for the night. Not sure how you cant make any more french fries or run out of mac and cheese. Service is ridiculously slow.
