My husband and I went to dinner here this past weekend. Let me preface this by saying I love Sky (same owners) and have had several events there - my baby shower and my rehearsal dinner. When 3 opened we were dying to try it for dinner. I had only been there for an event and my husband ate there one other time - so we knew it was good. We got an appetizer (very good), a few glasses of wine and then our meals came. His pork was delicious and my swordfish seemed to be as well until I cut into the center of it and realized it wasnt cooked. As I am realizing this, the manager happens to be walking around asking people how their meals are. So, I nicely explain that mine wasnt cooked (the waitress is now at the table too). Both of them agree that it clearly is raw - you could tell, the center was so fleshy and watery. They offer to finish cooking it, but my stomach has turned at this point and the thought of eating more of it is very unappetizing. I tell them it is ok, Ill just pick off my husbands plate and enjoy the side dish we ordered. Im not very hungry at this point from thinking about eating the raw fish. Not a big deal though, I tell them I feel bad complaining, etc. and they were really nice about it. I am still thinking to myself that I would eat there again, from the first few bites I had it was DELICIOUS. The waitress also comes back later to offer us a free dessert to make up for what happened - I thought that was very nice and classy. So all in all, I had a good feeling and didnt care - I know these things happen and I honestly wasnt that bothered by it. Everything else had been so good. My opinion of the place COMPLETELY changes when the bill comes. They charged me for the meal! I ate 3 bites (literally 3!!) of it and it was raw. I didn’t have them finish cooking it, nor did I ask for something in replacement. I think that is so completely disgusting. My husband said something to the waitress and they ultimately took it off, but we had to ask. Which is terrible - and she told us she had to go check with the manager, so obviously he had told her to keep it on our bill. Such a poor way to present yourself as a new restaurant and I think it is just RUDE. We wont go there again!

My wife has had a few meals with her girlfriends at the 3, and she liked. This July 4th I called the restaurant for a reservation – got a standard recording. So we drove there only to find it was closed. Today my wife mentioned the 3 again, so we went there for a diner. We found staff and our waitress were very nice and the service was good to excellent. Our main courses were grilled swordfish, and grilled steak tips. Swordfish was very fresh, and nicely grilled, though I wished it a little tender. Grilled steak tips was a favorite restaurant recommended – indeed I liked it was grilled and the sauce, however the steak was just too tough to chew. The most bizarre thing was the bill – we found two food items we did not order on our bill. The waitress immediately made the correction, and presented to us a new bill of $64, along with credit card receipts for us to sign. We can’t believe they did it again: on our credit card receipt they charged $165!!! We did give 20% tip to the waitress, but I made a complaint to the manager.

There is nothing traditional about the menu, this place serves off-beat versions of meals that are very different than you can get it anywhere in this area. Great presentation of food, always surprisingly different in taste and texture. Very hip bar with innovative cocktails - great place for happy hour. The restaurant is warm, inviting and the entire decoration is quite modern, not contemporary (yes, there is a difference). Highly recommended, but a little on the pricey side.

I remember when this was going in, I thought, look at this hoity-toity establishment, I wont be going there. How wrong I was. After a friend dragged me along, I fell in love with the upscale environment, great food, but in particular the drinks. If you like a good Scotch or a nice Gin & Tonic, you know you cant get that at Chilis. Its just watered down and usually improperly mixed. So, while it can end up a pricey evening, the drinks will taste great.

My wife and I find Thursday nights to be the best time to eat at 3. There is less of a crowd and its easier to have a nice easy conversation than on Fridays. The food, no matter the night, is delicious and always presented well. One issue we have is that some of the seasonal sides are just to good to be offered for a limited time and should be part of the main sides menu. Oh, if you like chocolate cake I think youll like a slice of 3s chocolate cake.

The timing of the meal was atrocious. The waitress was super nice and she made me feel welcome, but the food was mediocre and my mashed sweet potatoes were cold. I have been here for events and was looking forward to a nice meal...very disappointed. The wine is good. The olive oil served with the bread was good. But it was just a vain attempt at what should have been a good meal...

This is the classic type of place that suburban yuppie want-to-bes just love. Average food, slow service, waitresses that seem to be clueless and to top it off, the noise level is unbearable. But for people who like to be "seen" it seems to be their favorite place. Too bad it cant be better since Franklin is in desperate need of at least one high end quality restaurant.

Beautiful ambiance, not too loud, waitress was very friendly. I ordered the chicken cavatelle which is a house favorite. The meal was delicious, my favorite part was the mushrooms...cooked to perfection. My friend loved his pork roast with bacon and had no complaints...which is a very good thing. We definitely want to go back one day.

I come here once a month for a meeting with a local community group and have ordered at the bar a few times. The atmosphere is very chic and is a great date location. Love the starters and good beer selection. I think they do a regular comedy night as well. Good service!

One of my favorites. Every time I go in, I have a new favorite from the menu. Love the atmosphere, the drinks are perfectly made, the food is incredible. Service is fast and friendly. Wish I could go to dinner at 3 more often, too bad its on the pricey side.

Our group had a variety of appetizers; crab cakes, pot stickers, chicken tenders and steamed buns and everything was delicious! The server was attentive but not hovering and our food was served quickly and hot! Would definitely recommend!!

I love everything about this restaurant, from the food to the service to the warming and cozy atmosphere. I am glad when I moved to this area that this hometown gem is available for me to frequent. Well done 3!

Nice place inside and out. service was great, but the food was just ok. Food was very greasy and over seasoned. Perhaps a different menu choice would be better, but the shrimp and scallops were not good.
