My daughter wanted to go there for her birthday dinner, shes 12, I asked them if the could put a candle on her classic sundae and although they didnt have any candles, the waitress did present quite the sundae dessert, she loved it. I, of course, as I always do had the big beef burger, made the Newport Creamery way, on buttery toast with cheese on it. The fries are the best! Its a great family place for dinner or just dessert. Ive been going there for 40 yrs and I will continue to go. WE LOVE IT!!

This place has a whole host of problems. Their service is terribly slow - it took me 45 minutes to go in, get a table, eat my cheeseburger, and leave. My waitress was rude and unfriendly. The burger was overcooked - I asked for it medium and got it BURNT. My fries were soggy and grease-laden. Over all, it was an experience I would not like to repeat. When the girl handed me the bill, it felt like Id been given the keys to my prison cell.

New burger options were very good. Their ice cream is always good. However service was slow and when computer broke down we waited almost a half hour for our credit card to be processed. Never did fix it. We finally convinced them to accept a check so we could finally leave. Not waitresses fault but manager should have at least apologized for the inconvenience.

My sister and I "roll" our Mom down for lunch here at least once a week. Mom is wheelchair bound with alzheimers. The service is great as well as the food. We especially enjoy the French fries and ice cream. Many people must feel the same as we see the place busy with happy faces.

The Sunday cook is not good at all. The Pancakes were like shoe leather. The bacon was burned. We have given it time but it does not get any better. We will not be going back for breakfast.
