We stumbled across this restaurant last night and dropped in...did not expect it would turn out to be such a disappointing and simply outrageous experience. The service was fast and we were just settling in to have our meal after our appetizers. While serving dinner, the server knocked out my friends beer. We told its quite alright even before he apologized. The server, Raj, (who turned out to be the manager) said "Sorry" and left. He didnt bother to come clean up the mess he made. He didnt bother to offer a glass of beer for spilling it. We let it go since it was an accident, but was a tad disappointed for at least not cleaning up the mess on the table and putting our entrees right on top of the wet tablecloth. We went ahead and had dinner and almost at the end one of our friends saw a bug in the part of the chicken curry she was helping herself to. She is soft spoken and didnt even make a fuss other than showing it to her husband. I, on the other hand, of course lost my appetite right after that and called the one lady (Santhi) who served us appetizers who was standing right there to show the bug. She said "Noooo....nooo it cant be...its food" or something to that effect. Raj joined her by them and gave us a chuckle and said its fenugreek seed and snatched the plate away. This irritated me severely because he didnt even bother to look at it properly. He turned the lights much brighter and after about 2 minutes of inspection and dissecting all the legs of the bug, he finally accepted it. Then he promptly took the plate away and walked away and could have possibly mumbled a sorry. And that was it. We were given our bill. I was most disappointed and requested to talk to him about the incident and was just recaping what had happened and what irked me. He suddenly got aggressive and started yelling at me saying "What do you want me to do now? I said sorry no? Do you want to KILL ME?". I was shocked to say the least and the boys with me got most upset at the way the manager was yelling and it turned out to be a big huge fight at the end where both sides were yelling. One elder man came out from the kitchen and said sorry and walked us out while the Raj, the manager, still was coming on to fight with us. Needless to say we will never be going there again. Unless you are prepared to have free bugs with your entrees and extremely poor service, I sincerely wouldnt suggest it.

I had my order delivered to Framingham State. I was a little confused by the way the delivery went- I had to call an entirely different number and place my order with the guy who answered. It all went well but I wasnt near my phone when he called back to explain they were doubling my entree order! (: The guy told them to just give me another mutter panner (I love panner so I didnt care!). I had ordered the Vegetarian Special for One, even though my fiance and I were both going to be eating. My Vegetarian Special came with the two orders of panner, vegetable soup, samosa, raita, rice, poori, and desert- we got the kheer. The rice went wonderfully well with the panner and had a garnish of fresh peas on top! A nice touch. The vegetable soup was so delicious, it was almost like a split pea soup. It was hot and flavorful. We ended up dipping the poori into the soup, as it was like puffed bread. Very delicious that way. The samosa was also amazing, far better than the ones they try to make here on campus. :D The kheer was so yummy, but we got a teeny tiny portion! Like the size of a condiment cup. We got a larger order of raita, which I wasnt too fond of, so I wish they had switched the sizes of those two! Im thinking now that was a mistake on their part. Overall, the food was very good. It was all prepared perfectly, fresh, hot, and worth the price (which was pretty low compared to other Indian places weve been to). I highly, highly recommend. DO NOT let the strangeness of the exterior deter you from eating here. :D

a diamond in the rough- worth a pilgrimage. The fact that this place has been around so long should be a clue; next is that every customer eating was Asian when we went in. lamb(keema): TO DIE FOR, like butter. Samosas are a thing of wonder. Had a daily special of chicken muttar than was AMAZING, you think it is a tangy/sweet barbecued dish and seconds later, you mouth is on fire(in a good way) with vinegary chili flavors, so many layers!! They must have a real clay oven for chapati and naan. the naan was perfect, fluffy, slight char, perfect chewyness. The owner was gracious and happy and we got free cakes in saffron syrup for making her laugh. Why this place is not Zagat rated I do not know, it is AMAZING Nothern/Punjabi cuisine. PS they make dosas, but only from 5-9PM when the dosas cook is working, I guess:D

It looks like an old diner which turned me off initially, but we heard it was good and tried it and we are glad we did. Its clean and calm inside. The buffet is an awesome price. The buffet curries could be more spicy, but I am sure they dont want to scare people away with something that is too strong so they a cautious about making it mild. The price of the buffet is great. I can eat all I want there for cheaper than a single entree in most restaurants in the area. Also my wife has alergies to dairy and they are wonderful about making things for her from the menu without yogurt, cream, etc. Lots of places arent willing to do this. Yes, there is better indian food out there, but we love this place for the service and the good food at a great price.

My wife and I found this place a few months back, and we love it. I cant say Im amazed at the few people here that have really not liked this place, because Im not amazed at anything on the Internet, but honestly...my wife and I have gone to a large number of Indian restaurants in Massachusetts and we like the food here the best. Perhaps its what we tend to order, but weve tried a number of different items and we have seriously loved them all. Its a bit far for us to drive to, but nevertheless we still make the drive every couple of weeks. Its fantastic. Even my young daughter loves it. Certainly some of the negative reviews are junk (one mentioned not going to this "hotel").

Im addicted to indian food, particularly chicken tikka masala but also chicken korma, chicken vindaloo and vegetable samosas, etc. Ive tried several indian restaurants in the area and will say this place is the best for takeout. Its not a five-star fine dining experience atmosphere if you were to stay to eat, but it beats the five-star restaurants (in my opinion) on taste and quality of food. They are also fast, affordable and the crew is extremely friendly, often recognizing my voice on the phone and throwing in a free nan bread with my orders (I think because I order so frequently). This is my local go-to indian spot.
