When we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was! There was a nice ambiance. The Asian Chinese fusion varieties were good. Chinese style veggie noodles was very good. The South Indian dishes felt close to home food taste which was very appealing to me. And I cannot stay away from mentioning the mouth watering rasa malai. I have tried rasa malai at almost every other restaurant I visit. I must admit that at Chakra, they did prepare a very yummy rasa malai. Not the watery stuff you get served at most places. I also availed their catering service. A big friendly pat on your backs Chakra Chefs. You guys did a good job. The customer friendly attitude starting right from answering the phone until waving goodbye to guests, would certainly make you a regular at the restaurant. Overall, the food and service was good. I would recommend dinning ad their catering service.

My wife and I tried Chakra for a weekday buffet. We were pleasantly surprised with the meal and the service. When we walked in, we noticed that it was a cafeteria format. The people who greeted us were very friendly. The food was phenomenal. Despite the fact that it was a weekday and close to end of buffet hours, the food was fresh and we noticed that it was filled very quickly. The naan that they offered was hot and right out of the oven. I am from New York and used to having fantastic Indian food lunches in the Little India region. I would say that in terms of the food, Chakra was on par with some of the excellent buffets that I had. Their Chicken Tikka Masala (Indian) and Chili Chicken (Chinese) stand out for me. I wish I lived in the area so that I can visit more often!

My family had two wonderful lunch buffets at Chakra last week. We were shopping at the Pheasant Lane Mall and we wanted to try something different. Though we stopped by for a quick bite with no major expectations, we were very pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was! Their naan was made fresh for the table and the people working at the restaurant were extremely friendly. Their chicken dishes were excellent and we were amazed that their Chinese dishes were so good. You would not expect to find good Chinese dishes in an Indian restaurant. The price was reasonable and we expect that this will be our regular lunch place when we are shopping in NH.

Have been there several times now. First few times when the restaurant was new, the food was good. The last time I went, a couple of weeks ago with my colleagues the food that they served didnt seem restaurant quality. I liked one thing on the buffet which was coconut rice. But they were taking too long to refill the buffet after it finished. Dont like the water vending contraption that they have there. It seems that they fill the tap water themselves in the big vending bottle and just put it upside down on to the vending machine. I am ok with tap water but they should not portray that they are serving packaged water.

Food was ok...But WORST Horrible customer service... We had been here on a weekend and had to wait for 10 min to place our order even though only 2 tables were occupied. The order taker was rude and least bothered to serve you. The same person doubled as server!!! he would get chutney in one trip and sambar in another...by then our food was not so hot.. Even while placing our food on table he put it down with a huge thud as if we were eating there free of cost... The whole experience was so bad...we will never return to this place!

Delicious - Order an appetizer its was too good, All vegetarian dish are awesome taste and dont skip the naan!! Their plain naan is great - its crispy and always hot. This place is fabulous and one of the best Indian restaurant Massachusetts. The dessert menu looks authentic and really interesting. Overall a great atmosphere, great selection of Indian food and excellent tasty food !

I like the variety of food and the large menu at Chakra. I really like the Vada/sambar, Kotthu Paratha, Mirchi Bajji and the range of snacks they have for take out. It is really nice to see regional South Indian cuisine in the Lowell, Tyngsboro, Chelmsford and Nashua neighborhood. The service is courteous and they aim to please. I would definitely go back there.

Very tasty Indian food in the region. They have a wide variety of selection and their catering is particularly very good. Couple of weeks back we catered from them for our party and everyone liked the food. The Veg Fried rice was a perfect blend of Indo-Chinese cuisine and tasted yummy. Chicken Biryani was the start of the day. Right level of spice and heat.

I had been couple of times to Chakra as I am staying nearby. I just love the place and taste of Indian food. I liked the flavor of Biryani and other Non-veg curries which I feel more authentic, compared to other Indian restaurants. I take my friends and colleagues to this place very often. Great Food... Thanks Chankra.... :-)

Its small but clean restaurant. New owners are friendly and welcoming. Food preparation for chicken and vegetarian were very delicious and different from other similar kinds of the Indian restaurant. They also have some other unique dishes in the menu, looking forward to trying those in future. The servicing size was enough.

The quality of food is really good but dont expect normal service in this place. It seems that they have only one servant and (maybe) just one chef. So the serving time is a way longer than other places. This is why I couldnt give them 5 stars.

Food was exceptional, atmosphere and service mediocre. No liquor license, and beverage selection was lacking. To be fair, the mango lassi was very good, though! Definitely a top take-out option, or when atmosphere isnt the biggest priority.

We went to Chakra last night for dinner. Service is pathetic and this place is not at all clean. It is very confusing that whether is it a restaurant or fast food shop. I would never go there again. 0 points. I don’t recommend to anyone.

mediocre food quality and atrocious service. Management doesnt seem to be interested in attending to customers. They are better being a take out place rather than dine. I have made up my mind to avoid this place at all costs.

Our waiter coughed into his hands several times, before serving food and while standing at our table. The water has a strange salty taste. The sambar was good but overall experience was unpleasant due to the coughing.
