Ive been here on many an occasion. I live in the area and its a great neighborhood restaurant to have to watch a game, and listen to some good music. The BBQ is great the brisket sandwich I had was tender with a great sauce coupled with a nice smoke to it. Their selection of beer is amazing and is not found in many bars in the area. They have my favorite Slumbrew there. I liked too that their bartenders are really knowledgeable about micro brews they have. When you ask what a beer is like they dont just say "ya its good." They told me about the hops, and compared it to other beers, I got one beer and the bartender gave me the history of its brewing process about it being from Kentucky bourbon vats. I thought I was next store at the Museum it was great. I went on the blue grass night and the music was top notch, not loud enough to drown out a conversation, but loud enough to get into. Finally theyve got shuffle board which Im terrible at but is amazing! My friends and I play for hours drinking beers eating Q during a game. All in all Im glad the place showed up to Salem, its a real fun time with great food.

I understand that we came at such a busy time of year but the waitress and manager did not handle our situation correctly. It began with me asking for double fires with my order, not fries and onion rings. I received fries and onion rings so I asked to get it fixed, she told me kitchen was closed and walked away. I was shocked even considering I used to be a waitress. Then my boyfriend had a situation at the bar area trying to order a drink and the women replied that she could not help him with a smarty remark. When it came down to our checks my boyfriend had asked to speak to a manager because he had felt that how our whole time of being there was not right. The manager proceeded to argue with him defending his employees calling him a lier. I get it, the occurrence of situations seemed unreal but I had stepped in and defended him considering I was there when X situations had happened. I came about the situation more kind and reasonable then my boyfriend had but the manager did not take the situation as well as he should have. I left uncomfortable and never in my life wanting to step foot in the place again

Food was mediocre and the service was bad. We went for brunch and had very high hopes after reading some good reviews. Unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. I ordered the corned beef hash benedict. The hollondaise sauce was too lemony and thin, not normal creaminess that a hollondaise has. The corned beef hash was good though. Others ordered the regular eggs benedict and were disappointed. Not only about the hollondaise sauce but the canadian bacon was cut thinner than deli meat. The potatoes on the side were under cooked and hard and they also were under seasoned. The menu stated the chicken and waffles was bone in fried chicken. When the order came it was a couple of chicken strips instead. I would recommend the french toast and candied bacon side though, which was the only satisfactory dish out of the 6 we ordered. Our waitress kept disappearing and we had to flag her down three times even though we were the only table at the time. She was chatting with the hostess for most of our time there.

First of all. I get its Halloween weekend and your super busy which should actually have nothing to do with this situation. But We waited in line for 45 minutes knowing there was a 20$ cover. As soon as we approached the front of the line the people in front of us got in for 20$ but when it was our turn the cover was suddenly 30$. I am appalled at your establishment. We actually liked this bar and now we will never go back again. As well as a ton of other people who complained and left as soon as you randomly upped the cover. We wasted 45 minutes in your line only to find out you were going to charge us 10$ more than the people infront of us paid to get in? Theres no justifying that. Like your not making enough money as it is ? Totally put a dent in our night you guys suck. the staff here are also extremely unfriendly and rude. You ask for a drink and they act like your annoying them. YOUR A BARTENDER ITS YOUR JOB dont act like Im inconveniencing you.

Awesome beer selection, good food specials. Food on special is a great deal, regular prices are a bit steep, except the nachos, great deal and enough to feed two easily! Even at full price, most of the food is delicious, just not really the best deal in town... I would have given 5 stars, but its kind of hit or miss on service. The hostesses and wait staff are great, and theres a few bartenders that are fantastic, but then there is the WORST bartender I have ever seen, anywhere! Seriously, what kind of bartender doesnt ask "Hey, can I get you something to drink?" at least ONCE throughout an evening at the bar? and on top of that, messes up and gives you the wrong beer, multiple times!? Seriously, I hate to post a somewhat negative review, due to the fact that as I said before, there are a few great bartenders here, but that one guy kind of ruins it, so I have to be selective of which days I stop in.

Me to bartender who is doing nothing and has no customers: excuse me? Bartender: (turns back to me-does not answer) Me: um excuse me? Could I order a couple beer please? Bartender: no answer. Me third time: excuse me sir? SIR?!? Bartender slowly turns towards me. Me: Hi. Can I get a couple beers please? Bartender: you should have checked in at the front. I cant serve you because your not at the bar. ME: umm... we are in the bar. ( I look at my friend who is sitting at a hi top table literally next to the empty bar he is standing behind, not 5 feet from our table). Arnt we in the bar right now? Bartender: yes but your not at the bar. Me:Well cant I order at this bar? Bartender: no, your not at the bar. Your at the bar tables. Me: -BLINK, BLINK. - Mouth falls open. I turn and walk away as there is absolutly no way to fight this level of stupid

This was a nice stop for lunch during our visit to Salem. Sitting outside under shade while simultaneously experiencing a warm late August afternoon, I enjoyed a nice plate of fried clams, which were succulent, that included a heaping portion of onion rings that were lightly fried just how I like them. My wife enjoyed a delicious pulled pork sandwich, my son the chicken fingers, my older daughter the fried calamari appetizer, and my younger daughter the pretzel sticks. The service was a little slow but our server was pleasant and took care of a couple mistakes with our order with no fuss. All together, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience and we look forward to a possible future visit.

During the day, this place was nice. We were told it was a hole in the wall. Definitely not. This place is pretty large. It had a band playing when happy hour started. Food was great as was the service. At night, this place did a complete 180. It appeared to be the place to be Salem. However a fight between 2 females erupted towards closing and everyone else not involved was subsequently kicked out. The "DJ" even yelled at everyone and told us all how we were adults and knew better than that and some other idiotic life lessons that he shouldve saved for the drunk girls fighting. I probably wouldnt go back at night.
