The older, shorter hostess (manager?) is horrible. Besides efficiency/organization, the one trait a hostess at a family restaurant needs is friendliness. Shes the antithesis of friendly. If Good Will Hunting had a Southie diner scene, she would have been the waitress. Is she related to the owner? If shes the manager, it probably explains why many of the employees seem surly as well. It trickles down.

I have been to the 99 in W. Concord many times since I just moved here recently and I really enjoy it! I dont know what people are complaining about, my food has been excellent every time and the wait staff have been very friendly. Its in an older building, but looks just fine to me. Overall I like it and will continue to go there!

Fun place for a family (w/ young kids) dinner. Food is OK, not great. Service varies with the server, from middling to great. Wouldnt go here for date night!

It felt like a small place. Prices were really good. My issue is personal but my favorite item is the boneless chicken and it was all over cooked.
