Me and some friends were originally meeting here for music bingo; however, we found out that music bingo is done for the summer season and will begin again in September. Bummer but oh well. There is a cool alternative, they have games on tablets that you can play, as far as I know free, or you can choose from a selection of board games they have or card games to play, which I think is really cool. So, food and drinks, Wednesdays is half priced wings. My friend ordered the sweet asian wings and I got the buffacue wings. Funny thing, she liked my wings better than hers and I preferred her wings over mines. Hers had a more tangy taste and the right amount of sweet that I enjoy. Whereas mines was supposed to be a combo of buffalo and barbecue sauces, but I could taste more of the barbecue...no thanks! I ordered their watermelon sangria. I am not a big drinker. I did enjoy this drink, however, one was enough for me. Entrees, my friend and I, both ordered the buffalo lettuce wraps. Oh my goodness did I love those. The chicken had a nice kick to it, I had ranch instead of blue cheese over mines but it was delicious. I finished the whole thing. Ill be honest, I scarfed that down so fast I cant remember what else was with the lettuce wrap (I think tomatoes, yep, pretty sure tomatoes are in there).I would go back just for those again

My friend and I ate here a few weeks ago. Food was fairly decent. Portions were certainly large. A little on the pricey side for Providence though. We did not get drinks, so I cant attest for their beer. Negative: it was very loud even for a sports bar. Considering how big this place is, and that there are booths in more secluded niches, youd think there would be an area to sit where you dont have to scream at the person youre sitting right next to. Certainly they can lower the speakers in that area. I dont expect it to be as quiet as a monastery, thats not what I came for, but nor do I expect to have to yell at the person next to me when were sitting in a booth together, as far away from the bar as possible. We came for an animated, vibrant ambiance, but not necessarily a screaming match. Our waitress was sub-par (barely checked on us, forgot an appetizer but our portions were so big I was happy), but I recognize thats not always the bars fault, and the high staff turnover that most bars have means an occasional slacker waitress is inevitable.

Been to Ladder 133 several times since it opened couple of months back. The place continues to change the menu. The last several times I have gone I have ordered the steak and they have cooked it to my liking (rare). last time I went, I asked for it rare and it was served medium, I sent it back to the kitchen and the manager gave me hassle about how they have to cook to RI health regulations (which was a BS line), and that was the only way they could cook their steaks. Do yourself a favor and dont order a steak at this place, or if you do expect it to be overcooked. The manager probably should have offered to change my choice (which most restaurants do if they cannot provide you with what you want). I probably wont go back due to the manager.

Reservations made online were never confirmed by the restaurant, and when we arrived no table was ready for our party (of 2). The service was extremely slow, and many of the beers listed on the menu were not available. The waitress states they were "re-doing our menu right now." Thats fine, but why issue a groupon when you are in the middle of changing your menu?! That said, the nachos & fries (both regular and sweet potato) were good, but the steak sandwich was a disappointment. No where near the advertised 7oz and overcooked. I will not be going back...

Owners are great, restaurant atmosphere is perfect and is nice and clean. Food is amazing. Hosted my husbands surprise 30th birthday at The Jake. Owners were amazing the process was stress free and easy. They provided all the essentials for a stress free set up and break down. Our bartender was amazing she was very friendly and accommodating. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed everything ! I would recommend this place to anyone !

Always full of friendly local and not-so-local friends...they unofficially sponsor a local sports organization so there are always some awesome people around. The staff is always super friendly and management ready to help in any way. Great atmosphere to sit with some friends, enjoy some drinks, and watch the games. They have music bingo and trivia during the week which is always worth checking out.

I checked Ladder 133 out last Friday and have been back twice since! Friendly staff and better than average sports bar food! Best nachos in Providence hands down. Wish they had some more drink special but still had great prices across the board. This is gonna be my regular spot for sure!

I have yet to eat here but I hear good things and the food coming out looked great. Great place to grab some beers and watch the game. Live music during the week and on the weekends. Some nights get a little crazy with college kids, but over all its a fun place to chill.

Lots of TVs, okay atmosphere, very loud, okay prices and food. Go for the special of the day, and know that the potato skins will need extra sour cream (which DOES cost extra). Also, not many sober options that Ive seen.

This place is really a cool place to hang out. The staff are great and the food is wonderful even before the beers kick in. This will be my regular after work spot. You have to try the nachos, wings, and apple crisp.

The ownership and management there are horrible. If youd like to be treated with any respect, I wouldnt suggest going there unless youre friends with someone who works there. They dont treat outsiders well at ALL!

Sponsor bar for local dodgeball, soccer, and other sporting teams. Food quality has been variable over the years, but the beer, service, and atmosphere have always been consistently good. Parking is nightmarish.

Went on a Saturday night and to be honest it was pretty quiet for a sports bar. But, the service was decent and the food was pretty good. Well probably try it again - could have just been an off night.
