If you havent heard the news, Chophouse now has some new Chefs in the kitchen and let me tell you, theyre among the best in the entire state. --- And the service and hospitality? Spectacular! We felt and were treated as if we were at our own Grandparents house having a meal amongst family, what a treat to be able to enjoy both such an amazing meal and to have it complimented with such phenomenal service. Now the food, where to start? The stuffed avocado (yes you read that right - stuffed avocado) was probably the coolest dish weve had in over a year, completely unique and totally amazing! Highly recommend that everyone have it, but dont limit yourself to just that option, as every dish on the menu has received its own creative spin from the Chef and really deserves a shot as well. Having been here 6 months back and left less than thrilled, this experience through and through was a complete turnaround. We will be back to Chophouse very soon (and much more frequently!) and strongly recommend to anyone that is considering a dining option in the South County area. Were incredibly fortunate to have Chophouse in Lil Rhody and we hold it among the best restaurants weve dined at all over New England. Well done Chophouse, cant wait to be back for more!

From the moment you walk in, to the moment you walk out, this place is top notch! Cosmetically ChopHouse nailed it, the warm inviting atmosphere is unlike any other restaurant in the area. There are two gorgeous bars, high tops, traditional dining seating, and two beautiful outdoor lounge areas. The service was spot on, and the waitstaff was charming without being pushy. The food, the most important part of any restaurant, was delicious. They served warm bread with a sweet butter while we waited for our starters. The thick cut bacon appetizer over fresh apple slaw was unique and packed full of flavor. The chop salad was incredible, and the dressing light yet flavorful. And the best part, the main course, a 12oz Prime Rib cooked to perfection. They had a variety of side sauce options, and I opted for Fresh Horseradish with some sour cream...only to find the steak was seasoned so well, and the cut was so perfect, I didnt even use my side sauces. The one thing I found a bit bland was the mashed potatoes. They were still pretty good, but they were lacking in flavor. It seemed to me they were missing a bit of salt, or butter. But overall the experience was delightful and I can see this being our new Friday night destination.

We had the worst meal I have ever experienced. Slow and inefficient service paired with terrible food. All entrees were over cooked and lacked any flavor. To top it off , the waitstaff miscounted our bill three times and accused our party of not leaving enough. We were chased out into the parking lot. Essentially we were accused of "stealing" and we re-counted in front of the waitress / staff 3 separate times until she called the "manager" over and he counted correctly and said we were right. The bill was 720 and that was the biggest waste of money and not worth any of it. It truly seemed like they were trying to say we didnt leave enough money to steal from us! Shame on you! We had considered this place for a large rehearsal dinner next summer, but clearly they dont deserve our money or business!

The decor is great ...BUT ..when my sister & I order high end drinks last Thursday 7/28 ... Grey Goose / Patron ...& the glasses are empty& the bartender walks past us twice saying nothing but to go hang out w/ his buddies at the end of the bar ...... Oh ok its just like the Caseys of the 90s ... Then we order a calamari app & its over deep fried with lots of tentacles & no dipping sauce .... This place just get 2 stars from me !!

We have known Charlie for many years of visiting his previous restaurant. I was always impressed by the performance of his waitstaff. - well trained, cordial and efficient. The kitchen always produced uniform high quality dishes served hot and fresh. His latest effort is this and more. The menu is terrific. Ambiance very sophisticated. Our new most favorite restaurant!

A very nice atmosphere, and friendly wait staff. The bar is mainly where youll find me. The bartenders keep it fun and light, and make fantastic drinks, with 3 huge TVs for watching whatever sport is on. The late night menu is an amazing value for some really terrific food.

I dont often leave the comfortable culinary confines of Providence but when Im looking to get out of the city The Chophouse is at the top of my list of places to head to. Great food, service and a gorgeous restaurant that provides a nice atmosphere you cant go wrong.

Atmosphere was nice. Waiter was excellent and food was very good. Service was excellent and the food was served fairly quick. Only reason I didnt give a 5 rating is the portions were small for the price. We would go back again!

The waiters were nice, even though they stood waiting in the corner, watching us the entire time. The food was very sub par. It was incredibly bland and overpriced. Even a staple like mashed potatoes were unenjoyable.

Each time I go there my food is worse and worse. The first time I went the filet was great, each of the next three times I went it was awful. I have only ordered the filet, never again. Bartenders are friendly.
