Just went for the first time. Since it was my first time, I opted to try the chicken and waffles instead of the cheesesteak, since it was the namesake of the restaurant. I was very disappointed. The chicken was extremely dry and flavorless. There were whole chunks of it that were so dry that I couldnt pull it apart. Other parts that had some moisture were stringy and dry. Very shocked that they hadnt figured out how to do chicken and waffles well since they named the restaurant after it. I wont be going back.

The food is delicious but the customer service is horrible. I ordered a meal with pancakes. They didnt have pancakes so they waited until I got there to let me know. I asked for an extra waffle for the inconvenience. They told me no with attitude. Ive eaten here multiple times but Ive had one too many unpleasant visits. Tonight is my last time ordering from this restaurant.

Ask about the "discount chicken", usually served in the back, outside (night time only). The difference is more in texture than taste, but sometimes your body is craving nourishment so bad, I dont really think it makes much of a difference! Mumbo sauce helps, and the staff wont disclose why they wear only wear gloves for discounted menu items..

This is pretty straightforward. Great chicken you can get whenever and with what ever you want. They do have a lunch menu so you dont just have to get waffles .The building is a little worn down. But everybodys nice and friendly and they serve chicken and waffles. Nobody can mess this up.

I was so disappointed when I found out they werent 100% Halal... Total bummer... But the chicken is pretty good... Even though I was totally turned off... It was my favorite halal restaurant to come to went I visited family in DC... But now I have to find somewhere else...

Great food! I got chicken tenders, a waffle and a lemonade. Chicken was great and the coating they used was something unique and it didnt look like something that just came from some distributor prebreaded and just reheated. Lemonade was also great! Really sweet!

Got takeout here today for my husbands birthday (his favorite thing ever is chicken and waffles) and the place did not disappoint! Pretty fast service considering how busy it was, delicious food, and everyone was really friendly! Well be back again!!

I was pretty excited to find this spot... refered by a one of the staff. Food was amazing, I had tenders with waffles. I hope they open another location in the northern Virginia area. (Arlington/Alexandria area). Best thing that it was 100% HALAL.

I went 2 days straight, both times i was satisfied. Chicken was crispy and fresh, waffle was perfect with the powder sugar on it. Oh, and the half & half is the bomb!! You might be better off calling the order in, the wait can be long.

Not good at all. Chicken was not fresh- post lunch rush? Waffles were flat and boring. Unfortunately, the food and service was much better when they first opened; not sure what has happened, but we will not be back.

The female cashier was very rude and unprofessional. My daughter chicken sandwich was burnt to a crisp and they still have it to us. When I went to take it back there was big roach crawling around on the table.

Its in the hood... a hole in the wall spot, but the food is amazing! I love those waffles and the mac n cheese. Pricing is quite reasonable so its a pretty popular for saturday brunch and after church soul food.
