Has to be the worst Popeyes Ive been to. Ive had minor issues at this location before but didnt feel the need to write a review. When I ordered a fish and shrimp combo basket (on the menu it stated that all combo and platter meals come with a MEDIUM drink) I received my drink which I knew was a small because the day before I went to the location in white oak and their medium was much bigger which was weird. So Im watching the cashier give everyone small cups that ordered a combo or platter. So I asked the cashier what size is this cup? She completely ignored me and assisted the gentleman behind. When she was done I asked her again out of curiosity. She immediately got defensive and said sir Im just doing as I was told. So I told her well maybe you guys should change the menu to small drinks. I was in a rush so I ddnt want to bother. I ordered a side of red beans and rice and as I got in the car I noticed I literally had no beans, just all rice. So I went in and requested my money back. Clearly this cherry hill location is trying to get over on people and save money by charging their customers the same as other locations but not giving them what they actually paid for. Just make sure you pay attention and read the menus so you know exactly what youre getting.

Extra service, more competent than others. (Reviewing this a couple months later -- not changing a thing. I see others complain about the service. My experience is they almost always get my orders right when ALL the other Popeyes get the orders wrong!) You might notice I did like 5 Popeyes reviews in a row and I even copied and pasted the comments between 2. But each review expresses my experience as I best remember it. In my current location of two years, this place on Cherry Hill Road in College Park/Beltsville has been consistently right on the orders and always offering the 6-piece dark meal deal I require. The others have all failed me in greater or lesser ways.

Ive been here a few times and while the quality of the food is good, Ive had some repeated issues with other things: multiple times Ive gotten the wrong food (usually wrong side dishes), they always seem to be out of things (always the majority of their sauces and sometimes major food items), and the wait at lunch seems a little long for a fast food restaurant. The customer service is not great, but not terrible either. I still recommend going but be sure to check your food before you leave and be prepared with a back up order in case things are out of stock.

Horrible customer service at the register. Its not cute to not know what you offer on your signage. Its disrespectful to count change onto the counter and not into a customers hand. Then to shove the food across the counter instead of handing it to the customer. Disrespectful and discourteous. A smile and courtesy goes a long way.
