I was just at a IHOP in Takoma Park MD. and it just came to me about how wonderful of moment this is. I entered the restaurant and was greeted with a big smile from the server Vanessa she first sat me at a table but later gave that up to a family with two little kids, but they moved to a booth. But I had a good view of the New Hampshire Ave. and of the dinning area. Than it came to me how great this moment is, I could have look down on it that I am eating alone. But I looked up and look around the dinning area and saw there was some one from almost every culture in the world there. To me that is the most beautiful thing every one enjoying their food and conversation and me taking in the moment. Later Ms Vanessa told me that this was a inspection day and the cooks where trying to get every thing right. I dont know if the was the fact of the enviroment but I would like to think that it was because of the sweet diversity and Ms Vanessas smile.

Terrible service!!!!! When I walked in, the restaurant was not too busy, she seated me the place I didnt like and I asked for another table! Then she made very angry face and seated me where I wanted to seat without even giving me a menu! I was waiting for 15 minutes and finally another server came up and asked if I was ready to order, I said I needed a menu! Without any apologies, she returned with the menu! I have got my food (no suggestions been made) and nobody checked me on my food, nobody said enjoy your meal, nothing! At the end she brought me a check without asking me if I had like desert and u wanted desert! Very rude and unpleasant! Terrible service! Then need to train people properly since they are working in hospitality service!!!!!

I like IHOP; mediocre food for cheap prices. Theres a level of bad food that is acceptable, you know? However at this location, my scrambled eggs tasted like liquified margarine, enough that I couldnt swallow a bite. It took my server 14 minutes from serving us to come back- we had long since finished our meal (everything but the eggs), needed drink refills, and were waiting to get a new order of eggs. Upon asking for new eggs, she asked if I wanted "shell eggs" instead of what I got before, "powder eggs." I said yes, and was brought a new order. These new eggs were not cooked thoroughly, with the whites running down through the crevices. In all of that, still didnt get our drinks refilled and was instead handed the check. Wow!

espere media hora para que me dieran la mesa y cuando por fin mela dan me olvida en la mesa osea no me atienden y les reclamo porque nadie me atiende me salieron enojadas q porque esta lleno y eso se entiende pero al menos la bebida no ubieran dado asi que me moleste y me fui con mi familia para otro restaurante

Service is good but the food is the worst I ever tasted at any I-HOP. I am fan of ihop I eat there once a week. I will never eat again at this location. I went with 3 other people. The food was under cook and tasteless. At the end of the meal I was sick to my stomach, I literally tree up in the bathroom. No one liked their meal, but we were hungry, but we regretted eating it. I rather wait longer for my food than having it under cooked. I am very dissapointed and feel sick while writing this review. Our waiter was so accommodating and nice to us. Either way I will never come back or recommend this location to anyone.

Worst experience ever. I called to place a to-go order and when they finally picked up I ordered STRAWBERRY AND CREME CREPES. When I arrived to pick up my order, I waited 40 minutes for it to be ready. The person who had my ordered bagged it and had left it sitting there without telling me it was ready! When I finally got my food I went home and opened it only to find that I DID NOT GET WHAT I ASKED FOR ! Instead they gave me Strawberry Banana PANCAKES ! Worst experience ever.

Slow service, waiter soo busy discussing personal issues that she toook forever to come to the table. She only greeted table bring food and fill water when meal was done. No are you ok is everything ok how is the food. The manager very unprofessional. He stressing soo much on them cleaning. That customer service sucks. After checking out I ask the waiter do thru get shop she replied no. Even worse we get inspected three times a yr. That explains it i thought. Smh

The food tastes like every other IHOP, but thats the only positive. The service was slow. It felt like they had forgotten we were there. There was something floating in my water, it took forever to be served (at least 5 minutes before anyone greeted us once we were seated). My boyfriend had to basically create a commotion to get another water once we noticed something floating in it and another commotion was needed to get the check. Im never coming back.

Our server was extremely inattentive. The only interaction I had with the server was to place the initial order, ask for replacement eggs and to take the check. I did see other servers being more attentive to other tables. The food was decent enough but couldnt offset the terrible service. On an ending note, make sure that if you ask for scrambled eggs you specify that you want real eggs, because the default is powdered egg.

Food was acceptable, service was rude and neglective, I had to steal silverware from another table after our food was already there and no one would acknowledge us, my coffee cup had lipstick on it ( and I dont wear lipstick), and I waited ten minutes before finally getting up and going to the kitchen to ask for a new one...I love ihop, I was very disappointed... :-/

I called in eggs and bacon 10 minutes in advance. I get to this establishment and the manager asks "pickup" not how Im doing or if Im eating in. Doesnt ask for my name. Just says are u Uber? Sir Im a guest here. Welcome me. The food was nowhere near prepared and I ended up waiting just as long as I would have if I had just came in and ordered. Not worth your time.

I gave them a 20% off coupon 5 seconds after they placed my order and I had paid. They would not honor it and said they couldnt cancel the order and redo it. I found that real hard to believe. Arent they able to cancel if they make a mistake or something needs to be changed? They said I could use it another time, but I told them there would not be another time.

This place is not always consistent with the quality of the food. Most of the time they make good quality food, but sometimes they make mediocre almost non-edible food. However, most of the times Ive gone here the servers have been good. Wait time is dependant on what time you go. Overall this place is ok.

My family and I visited this iHop on 9/3 around 7p. We are frequent visitors and the service and food is usually ok; however, this time, the food was awesome and the service was fine too. In addition, the manager was very accomodating and warm. Great job iHop on NHA!!!
