This is the 4th time weve experienced this type of service at this location. We will not eat here again! The initial wait time to be seated was normal (10-15min). Once seated received poor customer service, as there was a long wait time to be acknowledged by the waitress. Although she smiled, she moved really slow and seem distracted the entire time. It took an awful long time to receive our meal once we ordered the food (filled up on drinks than food). It took other fellow wait staff intervening to ask if there was anything else we needed, checking on our order, refilling drinks, and even checking us out. We observed that there were plenty wait staff available and hardly no customers. We also observed the manager joking/playing around on a cell phone with the wait staff. It just seem odd to us, as the manager should have be running his operation better (checking on ALL aspects of his business from the kitchen, dinning room appearance, and most importantly his customers satisfaction). Never Again!

Horrible! Came here one day with a huge appetite looking to be served a regular ol breakfast.. pancakes, bacon, and eggs. But guess what they dont have? Bacon! How can you run out of BACON when your an internationally known breakfast restaurant. So, I asked the manager Alex for something off the menu since I had to choose a different option of meat that was not what I wanted.. he gave me a rude response with a blatant "no" because "theres other things for me to choose from." I used to like this place but you can bet your bottom dollar Im never returning here again.

The IHOP in La Plata is wonderful. The facility is always kept clean and the service is always top notch. The food always seems like it comes off of a conveyor belt. It doesnt seem real, it seems ready made. I dont blame the location, I blame the chain. This IHOP is a good one.

Our Server had us wait sooo long to retrieve our order that we had no choice but inform manager. Very slow (not busy) came after church no excuse. Shame you must speak to manager in order receive better service. Usually excellent service here. Thanks hubby for treating.

AMAZING! We come to the La Plata IHOP ALL the time and Liz knows our order by heart! Last time we came in and sat in her section- she brought our drinks over to us immediately! We didnt even have to order! She is amazing!

Waiter was great, location clean. However if youre in the mood for a simple grilled cheese sandwich...DONT GET IT HERE (unless youre 2 years old). how can you mess up a grilled cheese sandwich? And they only took $1.00 off!
