I learned about this establishment through Groupon. There was an offer for $40 worth of food for almost half the price. I figured that because the ad stated it was enough food for 4 people, that it would be small portioned meals since they were promoting healthy eating. I have visited this restaurant on two occasions and all options purchased have been big enough to share (depending on appetite), extremely fresh, healthy and delightful. I have tried the citrus fish entree, blackened salmon fillet, salmon croquettes with greens and broccoli and the spicy wings, onion rings and a lemon cake. They were all delicious and I am now addicted to this place. I was so happy to experience high quality customer and HIGH QUALITY food!! This business deserves a medal of recognition for providing affordable, healthy and tasty options in a minority community! Thank You Food For Life Cuisine for taking up this charge! :-)

Been living in PG about 6 years now..Glad I have finally found this spot. Went 3 days in a row and each time I was overly satisfied and completely satiated. The food was great..all veggies..fish and chicken. I had the 4 side platter and a side of fish nuggets. Mac & cheese, greens and cabbage was on point...and the youngsta behind the counter and my brother frying that fish made it a pleasure waiting for my food. The Taste of the food is Great. But it has changed over the years of the quantity of the food that is served. I get the same thing so I know. When I first tried this establishment I was well pleased with the quality and quantity of the food. But since then the quantity has gone down and the prices has gone up. I try to give them a chance every so often. But every time I go I receive less of a portion then the last time I visited.

The food is EXCELLENT! They really have taken the local carry out menu to an entirely differnt level. NO ONE in the area can compare to Food for Life. The Food is great, the deserts are awesome and the atmosephere feels safe. Be advised that they acn be quite busy so calling ahead might be your best bet but even if you dont its worth the wait. Eating healthier NEVER tasted so good! PS: Bring back the pineapple cakes!

Naked wings are awesome! baked mac nd cheese isnt the best youve ever tasted but compared to others in the area, you wont be disappointed. Salmon cakes were delicious and seasoned just right. I exercise a lot so I frequently visit Sylvestre around the corner for the protein and healthy choice and I must say food for life will be its biggest competition in the area, you guys need more promo!

Delicious and healthy food sold here. I first went w a Groupon and everything looked so good in my carry out order that I tipped almost as much as the cost of the groupon. My family and I were not disappointed. The tuna melt sandwich is the best I have ever had except for the tuna sandwiches my Mother made. Chicken and fish are sold but no red meat. I highly recommend the salmon also.

The food is here is amazing!!!! My mother started buying food from here and she always brought me the fish nuggets home (the best Ive ever had!). I bought the honey BBQ chicken with mac n cheese anc broccoli with onions for my sides and of course my fish nuggets lol. I have absolutely no complaints and its well worth the money. You guys have made a loyal customer out of me ❤️❤️

1st time I ate there i was pleasantly surprised. The food was great and the customer service was delightful.. That was 5yrs ago. Ive been bragging on Food For Life SENCE.. I always say they need a place in Northern Virginia preferably Woodbridge VA.. Also I drove all the way from Woodbridge 1 Sunday wnd they were close. Extremely Disappointed..

A co-worker turned me on to this because honestly..I have no business being in Suitland. Anyway, everything Ive had here has been very good. Ive never been disappointed, except the day they ran out of carrot cake, but I shouldve called in advance. Try the carrot fries; theyre addictive. Seriously..maybe theyre mind altering or something.

The food is delicious!!! Their food items are always very fresh. Everything Ive tried is extremely great, because the chefs and the other workers take their time preparing the food. I must also add all of the workers are always very pleasant and kind. I attend "Food for Life" on a regular basis.

Food is very good. I love the fish dishes and the vegetarian platter with the fried mushrooms in the citrus sauce. Very different than i have ever had. They have a lot of technical issues every time I come (at least 4 or 5 times) but soon as they smooth that out it would be a 5 star rating.

Unfortunately, this establishment is under new management. The quality of food has gone down. The customer service is horrible; they also have unclean pratices, prepping food with no hair net, unclean floors, manager was ghetto. This place is a hot mess. I had to take my order back 3 times.

I highly recommend this establishment. Purchased food 3x so far, blackened salmon and fried whiting are delicious. My fav side is the broccoli & onions...good combo. Mac and cheese is tasty also. I have to try something else soon.

Very pleasant staff. Food is a great and healthier alternative than the chinese carry out and fast food joints. Portions are reasonable sizes, but those naked wings. Super good. I tried the comeback sub and ill for sure come back.

Food was good but theres wasnt a place to sit. Its just chairs when you walk in. I like to sit down and eat. There werent any tables unfortunately. Food was good tho. Just add a table in the corner and Ill change it to 5 stars
