So me and my buddy always go to this location about once every couple months or so. We were tipping our bartender all night and when our last tab came to $79.xx and my friend paid an even $80. As soon as he gave it to her, she told us we need to add tip in a rude manner. We were a little confused to why she would even dare to ask for a tip when A, we didnt get up to leave, and B because bartenders should never ask for a tip period. People dont have to tip if they dont want to, its not the law. Anyways thats besides the point... We were going to leave a tip for her when we were leaving but i didnt even finish my beer. So after she said that i walked over to the manager and told him what happend. He looked at me like i was crazy when i was telling him the story, i guess thats what you get when your a young minority. He then told me i had 1 to many beers and was taking the bartenders side without even giving me a chance. A few seconds later the bartender came rushing over and starts yelling saying you guys didnt tip me in front of her manager. The manager yelled at her and told her to go back to the bar. Then he finally sorta apoligized and said "he was going to smack her later". My friend and I were a little confused to why a manager would say im going to smack her later. Its unprofessional and tacky. So in conclusion i am never going back to this location ever again! the food and beer is great though...

It seems like its been awhile since Ive been to Gordon Bierschs. They have changed the menu and are adding new items to the menu. For drinks, we ordered the Marzen and Arnold Palmer. Our server Josh was friendly and knowledgeable about the food and beers. We shared a Pecan Crusted Chicken and Pear Sliders and Linguini Primavera. The chicken sliders were spicy, pecan crusted, and pan-fried to a crisp golden brown, topped with pear chutney, and bed of arugula, and served between grilled, garlic buttered slider buns. The Linguini Primavera consisted of linguini, crimini mushrooms, snap peas, green beans, grilled asparagus, and red and yellow tomatoes, sautéed with fresh garlic, tossed with balsamic vinegar and garlic butter, and topped with feta cheese and fresh basil. The vegetable medley made the dish colorful. It was also delicious and not too heavy.

I visit Gordon Biersch at least once a month. The service is always solid (randomly it slips a little, but its usually friendly and fast enough). The menu is diverse and creative and the food is very tasty. Rarely have we (wife and I) disliked anything weve ordered. The beer is delicious and brewed on-site. The best of all are the garlic fries...these are a MUST. I would eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner if it was socially acceptable. I will continue to return here because its hard to find a restaurant that delivers a relaxed atmosphere, good food, good beer and reasonable prices so consistently. If youre not sold or are looking for alternatives, check out Full On, Gillys Sandwich shop, or Matchbox. These three will also provide very similar experiences...

Disappointing Dinner Service The served Steak Medallions were not fresh (felt like it was frozen then thawed after having freezer burns) so damn dry and they were not even cooked well a freaking insult!, the Crab stuffed shrimp had the texture of wet chewed cardboard, the veggies were burnt (no not seared Freaking burnt!). Just disappointing to know that this place has no love for their dinner guest. it just feels like their full focus is the beer (which is by the way Great) and Appetizers... all in all just too lacking in a dinner sense but great for drinking... will eat here again but will caution others about their Dinner Entrées... I still tipped 20% cause its not the waiters fault its the damn cook!!!

Great beer, good atmosphere, awesome staff, especially Bridget! But holy crap, the Mens restroom has smelled like raw sewage for weeks. I think its a plumbing issue. I frequent this place enough that it is starting to get on my nerves. If this were a gym or a bowling alley I wouldnt care. But the stench is bad enough to literally ruin your meal. In a restaurant that is supposed to have hygiene standards, the management should not let this persist for so long. I made the mistake of sitting close to the restroom door last night, and had to get up and move. As soon as they fix the problem they get a five star review.

This place is OK for food. They have a wide selection for drinks but their food selection isnt anything special. I came here for dinner with two friends and the bar area was too loud so I asked them to sit us in the back. We each got several flatbreads to share and some beers. Our server was very inattentive and never came back to refill water or check if we needed anything else after he gave us our food. We also waited another 20 minutes for him to process the check. I would not recommend this place as a primary option for food but perhaps to watch a game and have a few drinks.

Gordon Biersch has terrible customer service. it took three unfortunate instances before I finally decided a review was necessary. the first two times the servers rarely came over check on the table, did not fix the mistakes they made and barely spoke to us when they did come. Customers are not always right at Gordon Biersch and they are certainly not the number one priority. The third instance I called to ask some questions about employment to which I was not given the answers and was rudely shut down. I do not wish to dine at Gordon Biersch ever again regardless of the fare.

Used to live in the neighborhood and went there a lot! Its a little further away now, but still generally a good meeting place. Went there last night with a family group. Very disappointed. One of my favorites was alway the Seafood Cobb Salad, its much smaller than it used to be, but the price hasnt gotten smaller and their balsamic dressing had no flavor. My husband and daughter order sandwiches and sweet potato fries, but said they we pretty bland. They dont seem to be very attuned to visual presentation either. Maybe it was an off night.

It was our friends birthday and we wanted to have a great dinner here. Our waiter tony was unbelievably rude.we had reservations and got seated 45 minutes late. We wanted to split the bill and he made it clear how inconveinenced it was to split it so many ways and that it would take 20 extra minutes. He had a bad attitude since we were seated. When your seated as late as we were, one would assume we would have great service after. Instead tony s service was slow and did not meet my expectation here. We did not have a good experience.

Food is decent, but the service is always terrible and the beer is overpriced & generic. Ive been to this location multiple times. Once for a bachelor party and they couldnt even be bothered to keep our glasses full. When I showed up to a tap party for one of their seasonal beers, I found out that they charged some ridiculous amount and there was only one keg (which coincidentally had just kicked). Not like any other local brewery Ive been to. Its a shame because I really wanted this to be my local place.
