I reserved one of the private areas and hosted a party for fifty friends at Happy Hour on a Friday. There was no charge for the room. Even though the rest of the place was packed, we had very good privacy in our area. I ran a tab and everyone got their beers and wine quickly and efficiently, and the excellent bar food was replenished regularly. Everyone commented on how good it was (wings, quesadillas, spinach dip). Great time, great service, great food, and actually quite reasonable compared to several other places, especially near the Pentagon. Reserve early -- lots of people seem to have the same opinion, and I was lucky to get the room when I did (especially on a Friday!).

Just hosted my promotion and reception here last week in Sinés back fireplace room. Incredibly flexible on arranging large groups and setting up food for the event. Reasonable prices (no room charge) and the Shepards Pie and Irish Nachos were stand-outs. The manager, Amy, did a great job accommodating our growing group, while service staff...especially Hernan(?) was outstanding in making sure everyone kept a drink in their hand! They do a great job catering to the needs of the nearby Pentagon community/workforce and earn the informal moniker as the Pentagons O-Club. Keep up the good work!

Pretty sorry excuse for an Irish pub and I am a connoisseur of irish pubs. Cant order a Bloody Mary at 3:03pm on a Sunday? Can only order beer, wine, margaritas, and select cocktails from a certain list, but not a bloody mary? Was finally brought a sorry excuse for a bloody mary: tomato juice with vodka in it, nothing else. Its pretty gross but Ill drink it because our server hasnt returned to ask me how it is. We will just go to CHAMPS next time we are in the area and a game we want to watch is on.

The waitress was very attentive and professional. I asked for the crab and shrimp dip that should have come with "grilled" pita bread (Greek pita), but the bread was very soggy and not one grill mark on it, so I asked if the bread could be crispy. The waitress returned the bread back to the kitchen to fix the problem, but unfortunately the cook (s) heated the bread on one side and came back to the table soggy again, I had to use their homemade potato chips for the dip. Quality of food very poor.

I felt like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. It was 1:30 PM, I was on foot and would settle for nothing but breakfast. Luckily, Siné serves brunch until 3 PM on the weekends. I am indebted to them forever. (My stubbornness prevents me from having any other food besides breakfast as my first meal of the day. Regardless of the time.) I had their pancakes and a Canadian bacon Benedict. It was tasty. It hit the spot. Ill try the steak and eggs next go round.

I came here a long time ago and was looking forward to having some nice Irish food. When I arrived it was a lot louder than I remembered, more like an American sports bar. All of which is fine, but I ordered the bangers and mash and the taste was just wrong. More like a mild italian sausage. I am not a big fan of American sports bars, so unfortunately I wont be returning. But it wasnt bad service, just the food change was disappointing.

Went out for a light lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Weird medicinal/chemical smell when we walked in. Ignoring that, I had the potato soup (delicious) and a nice fresh salad with a wonderful Feta vinaigrette dressing. My daughter - the vegetarian - had a Portobello sandwich on a terrific bun. She was delighted, as was I. Waitress was cheerful and helpful, the place was quiet and relaxed. Reasonable prices. Terrific afternoon lunch spot.

Food is great, pub is very traditional west Ireland with private booths and large bar. Service is good. But I ordered a Blacksmith and it was mixed, and the pours of Kilkenny are off, but the worst is the awful pour of Guinness. I know its trivial to most, but Guinness is a beer that is known for its pour. My guess is they straight pour it and the nitro blend is off to accommodate other beers on the taplist.

Less than 1 star! Worst customer service I have received in years from a restaurant / bar! Food was wrong from what was ordered and also was cold. When the manager came to talk he was rude and direct to the customers. Over 3 hours for a couple drinks and two burgers. Was about to walk out after waiting for so long. Worst restaurant in the D.C. Area for service !! Dont waste your time or money.

The bar was overcrowded which should be expected during happy hour. Problem is that it was 7pm and happy hour was over. There were people standing all around the dining area and it was so loud that I could not hear my family talking at the table. Service was slow. This is a good place for drinks with the office or happy hour with friends but not a good place to take the family out for dinner.

I met up with four friends at Sine only because it was in Pentagon City (near the DCA airport) and it had outdoor seating. This place is worth going out of your way, but if you happen to be walking by during happy hour and need a decent beer list and okay food, go here! They have Kellys Cider on tap, which I always love a bar with cider on tap!

Ive been to Sine several times for both work and meeting up with friends. The food is pretty good, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. The staff has always been friendly and Ive never had a bad experience here. Its a nice place to go to after work or if you are meeting up with someone for lunch. Prices are reasonable as well.

This was the first place I have ever had to send a drink back to the bar after ordering an old fashioned that tasted like a mix of water and bitters. Also, the pot pie tasted like it was from a canned chicken. My coworkers say the fish and chips are good though and they have a good beer menu.

Trouver par hasard. Accueil chaleureux et super cuisine typique irlandaise pour un prix raisonnable. À recommander sans hésiter.

Staff is exceptionally friendly and will readily strike up a conversation. The bartender is cool and she told me the name is pronounced "shuh-NAY". The pub is a watering hole for the intelligence staff at the Pentagon and is standing room only on a Friday evening.

I mostly utilize the front patio area for happy hours on great spring days. The beer is cold and refreshing and the food hits the spot. The area can get rather loud from the patio area and large number of school age tourists. Nothing another beer cant solve.

This is one of my favorite places to frequent. The atmosphere is authentic and the food is decent. Weekend brunch is definitely a meal Id recommend. Also, theyre randomly a Minnesota Vikings bar. My in-laws love watching games there when they visit.

Good Irish Pub, not the greatest, because their are so many good ones out there. However the good ones are not near by, so this is the next best thing. The food is good, staff does a good job of taking care of their customers.
