This is strictly a lunch review. We walk here a lot...did i say a lot? I meant a lot, during the weeks at always enjoy a nice relaxed lunch here. Youll probably see us here about once a week eating the Shepards Pie, Chicken Pot Pie, the wraps etc. All at a reasonable price of roughly 11$. Now there are lunch Entrees (dunno why the others arent, they are plenty enough food!) and they include things like Guiness Meatloaf, Salmon plates, jameson chicken etc, but these can be upwards from 15-20 dollars. All worth it though as Ive yet to have a bad meal here. The beer selection is what you would think from a pub-ish-like place. Plenty of Irish influence to be had and enjoyed. Dont take it from me though, go enjoy this laid-back establishment. Watch out as it can get a little crazy for happy hours or on Friday nights and when that happens the service isnt the best.

British pub feel with great service. We showed up right after the 4th of July parade around 2pm. There was a 15 minute wait before being seated. They had a nice system to text you when your table was ready so you wouldnt have to wait in the front entryway. Our waiter was very friendly and it helped that he was familiar with the drink selections. Despite being very busy, our food and drinks came out very fast (and was accurate). Overall i think this place did great with providing service and lived up to my expectation for a British style pub.

The location of this restaurant/bar is great and there is PLENTY of seating inside, so youll always find a seat without any wait time. They have Strongbow hard cider on tap (and offer several other hard cider options). The food is decent. Its modeled after a British pub so you can expect curries alongside bread pudding. They offer poutine from Quebec which is a little odd, but it does give them cool points for probably being the only place in DC to sell poutine (which is essentially french fries, gravy and cheese curds).

Food: Great food. Poutine especially is worth trying. Lamb Burger was escellent. Staff: Although the hostess seemed like she was working in her home (dressed about the same) everyone else was professional. Atmosphere: Dated, but that might be part of the charm. Other: Customers were a bit loud and raucous, but it was a Saturday Night in DC. Recommendations; Get there before 8pm on the weekends.

Coming from a British ex-pat who now lives in the US, this is honestly some pretty damn good food. Its a damn near perfect replica of some British dishes and as close as you can get for most. Prices were fair especially for DC area and our whole meal really wasnt that expensive. Oddly empty for a Saturday however, we were one of only two groups eating when we came in.

Food and service was fantastic but this is not a quiet place to eat. Had the Bacon and blue cheese burger, very good. Fries appeared handcut, very good. Had a local saisson on tap, also quite good but...it was so loud, i have no idea what it was called ;)

The food was great but as an outta towner from Florida here on a work trip the bar tender was awesome. I will come back for the food, great recommended beer on tap that I fell in love with and the great service from the bar. Please come check them out!!!

Food and drinks were good but service was rather slow. When we walked in a customer at the bar assured us it was open after not being greeted or seeing any employees present. Definitely recommend breakfast with bottomless bloody Marys and mimosas!

A Self Proclaimed BARCELONA PUB, Watched Barcelona beat Atheletco balboa , there was a small group of American Barca supporters "scarfers" enjoying the match. Nice managers and staff, THE 80 BUSLINE, (KENNEDY CTR) DROPS YOU RIGHT THERE

We waited 20 minutes to be seated in half empty pub. Took 2 hours to have order taken only to have it taken again 45 minutes later. Worst restaurant experience of my life. Only come here if you know a server that will give you service.

Nice selection of beers, food is good (though not all of it is "pub food", so there is something for everyone). Place does have the vibe of a pub, nice for meeting up and hanging out. Burgers are good, as is the Guinness Meatloaf.

If you are looking for a place to kick back, laugh, and have a few drinks with friends, this is NOT the place. The food was OK but the average age in there had to be about 60. I have nothing against that crowd, its just not mine.

Solid British food. I had the yorkshire pudding and it was delicious. Nice selection of beers and spirits. More than anything, the staff was very welcoming and attentive. They were also great with kids.

Ugh..it took us 12 mins before, we received service. I guess since I had my kids, and it was near happy hour, they didnt care as much. Anyway, our dishes were all over cooked. Not a good experience.

Great beer choices. Apps are creative yet classic. Food is very good service is friendly but not as attentive as they could be. I came in at a relatively quiet time, yet servers just seemed scarce

Good beer selection (draughts and bottles, local and imports) and appetizers. Also have regular dishes for dinner (e.g. hamburger or pasta). Pretty busy on Friday evenings.

I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf. It was excellent. You cant go wrong with that combination. My colleague had the French dip twice in 2 days. I think that says it all.

This is a splendid place to grab a pint of cask drawn bitter and ale. Very authentic English pub. They have Fullers on tap and a great selection of food.

Always tasty fare & pleasant staff. Both locations have adequate seating = no wait. Family friendly, bar is separated from restaurant & non-intrusive.

Bit sterile for an "English style pub." Its also a Barca bar with us watching the EPL with no sound in one corner TV. Poor! Fine food though.

This place has some of the best food I have had in a long time. Bacon wrapped meatloaf was stupendous! My wife and I WILL come here again.

Great food and loved the atmosphere. Everything was tasty, but I have yet to have a better bread pudding compared to what we had here.

Great English pub food, decent drink menu and a fun eclectic aesthetic. Try their stellar fish and chips or specials.

The food was good. I didnt have any beer due to it being a business lunch. Waitstaff was ok. Nice spot for lunch!

Beer and food was good, service was OK but too slow; skipped the last drink because it would have taken too long.
