We wanted to go to Honey Bee Diner down the street, but it had a wait for a table (~10:30am on a Saturday) and we were hungry. We decided to check out the Double T diner down the street. After all, how bad can breakfast food be screwed up right? So we get there, and were seated immediately. Cool, so far. It takes a good 7 to 10 minutes to be greeted and asked if wed like drinks (by this time we knew everything we wanted, food and all). We were excited see they offered a full bar, and we got some cocktails for our late breakfast. I order a White Russian and my girlfriend ordered a Long Island Iced Tea. For food I ordered french toast with 2 eggs scrambled on the side, and an order of fries. After 15 minutes or so our drinks came. They were very poorly made. The white russian tasted like it was 90% Kahlua. The Long Island was just... not good. The food came... kind of. I received my french toast, but with bacon (?) and 2 eggs over easy (?). So, I explained the problems with the order and she said to keep the bacon and shed bring scrambled eggs. The french toast was made with very odd bread. Very crumbly, odd bread. Maybe this is a taste thing, but it wasnt my favorite. Weird. We were quite ready to leave after our disappointing meal... and then my eggs came about 10 minutes late. Whatever, we were sick of it. So we went to pay the bill, and the woman at the register asked how our meal was. I explained we were pretty disappointed to be honest, and she seemed to put the blame on the waitress, and took off about $3 from the bill. Wow, how generous! Ended up paying $23 + tip for a terrible meal. Possibly the worst part is the fact that the desserts looked GREAT. But, after paying $23 for the awful meal, I didnt humor the idea of giving the woman at the register another dime. Moral of the story: GO TO HONEY BEE DINER DOWN THE ROAD. If there is a wait, just wait. Theres a reason for it.

If I could check a -STAR I would! The worst food I have ever had. I have eaten at the "Double T" in Catonsville and Ellicott City for years and the food was always fantastic but the food at the one in Pasadena is horrible. I wouldnt feed it to my neighbors dog and I hate my neighbors dog. My girlfriend and I started with the Cream of Crab Soup. Cream of Crab? It was more like a bland chicken gravy and was tasteless. The only way to give it any flavor at all was to crush up and add the stale crackers that came with it. Nasty. My girlfriend got the Shrimp Salad. Shrimp Salad? It had no flavor at all and the shrimp seemed like it either came out of a can or sat on the bottom of somebodies aquarium where the water hadnt been changed in months. They put some kind of cheese on top and we couldnt figure out what kind of cheese it was because we have never had cheese that was absolutely flavorless. Arent we in Maryland? Who ever heard of Shrimp Salad without Old Bay and who puts melted flavorless cheese on top of Shrimp Salad? I got the Gyro and it was just okay but, how can you screw up a Gyro? Not to mention the "Bus Boy" who must have been pissed about something because the whole time we were trying to eat this plastic, flavorless food, he was slamming dirty dishes and silverware into the cart he was pushing around. Literally throwing the stuff and I cant believe he wasnt breaking the dishes. Anyway, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Stopped by the place for lunch while on business with my grandfather. This being the middle of the day in the middle of the week, the place wasnt crowded in the slightest. The service was both too quick and a bit slow: we were seated immediately, and the waiter came by to take our drink order before we had even made it to that part of the menu. Shortly after, with our drinks being promptly brought out, we had to tell the waiter twice to give us a bit more time to decide what we were eating. My grandfather got the all American burger without cheese, ordered medium-well done, while I got the buffalo burger, ordered well done. Both were served with a cup of soup of our choice, and I personally felt a bit rushed at this point. Then the service slowed down a bit, allowing us to enjoy things at a more leisurely pace. My grandfather commented that he liked his burger, but I thought mine was a bit overly messy. In addition, I found that my fries were a bit stale. All in all, its not the best of places, but it isnt the worst either.

I recently ordered breakfast and the meal was so gross I threw most of it in the garbage. Since this was a carry-out it would have been a problem to return it. The Home-Fries were not home fries. It was more like a sliced potato soaked in grease. The garden omelet was flat like it had been run over by truck (and maybe it had). The French Toast was like a slice of bread saturated with butter and fried. My 12-year-old can make better French Toast. Im very disappointed with this restaurant. Of course, some people dont mind gross looking unappetizing food provided by a rude staff so this place might be right for them. And to be fair ... I suspect the restaurant can provide some decent food, but breakfast would not be it. Honestly, I would not eat at the Double-T Diner if the food were free. There are several other restaurants within a half-mile that do a much better job. I will attach a copy of my receipt just to show that I was indeed a customer.

I have been to this place a couple times with friends, thinking maybe the 1st time was a fluke I convinced them to go back and give it another try. I should have taken the hint the 1st time, this place is horrible. The menu is huge, but its definitely quantity over quality. All the food was gross and bland. Soggy, half cooked french fries, watered down soup, wilted salads, undercooked meat, and veggies that taste like the been sitting in cans for years. The service is slow and the management doesnt care. A couple of friends voiced their dissatisfaction and there was absolutely no effort to correct the situation. We will never go back. Avoid this place at all cost and go somewhere where they care about their business.

My wife and I eat here whenever we get the chance, The prices are great, the service is always pleasant and the portions are very plentiful. The menu is a little overwhelming as they have a lot to choose from, although the food is at my table in a very reasonable timeframe and have never been disappointed in the taste, breakfast is all day for those who want it. and the atmosphere is nice. Most of the time the parking lot looks packed, however never really had to wait long and always a great experience.

3-4 stars. Gave them 4 for the waitress she works hard. OK food and lots of choices. Last meal had one huge problem, menu says "home made mashed potatoes" those my friends are potato flakes and made with water! Can you say YUCK! If you think we cant tell you are very wrong. Plus $5 for a side salad to go with meal when I didnt even take the soup that came with the meal is way too much. Didnt see it till the bill came or I would have told them keep the lettuce and slice of cucumber.
