I stopped in here on a recent trip to Baltimore. I was told it was a great place in Fells Point to eat. The restaurant was busy which one would think is a good sign however the upstairs was under construction so as soon as we entered there was a constant banging and thumping from above. I told the hostess we would take a spot at the bar for a minute as they were cleaning up a hightop as another couple was just leaving. After a few minutes I noticed a couple sit at that table I asked the hostess as we had just spoke to her and she was literally feet away, "Oh I thought you had left" was her response very odd as she had suggested a drink at the bar in the first place as they cleaned the table for us. What a muttonhead with the attention span of 2-3 minutes. After we waited another 10 minutes for another to leave we sat right beside the bar entrance near the point of sale computer system that all the waiters and bartender use. After another few minutes of heavy traffic and not one iota of attention from the many servers running around I found(after asking) I was the "responsibility" of bartender already stretched thin from a full bar. I really appreciated the untrained and simpleminded reply from a lackadaisical waitress. It certainly showed they were in no mood or manner to see that customers were well received. I was shocked I had to get up, go to the bar, and flag down the bartender. When he did manage to get over and we tried to order we were told because it was a "holiday" the Mon-Fri specials we wanted werent available...really? It was MLK Day, a Monday, what bearing does that have on a Mon-Fri special...NONE! We went back to the menu and had our meals picked out however another 5 minutes elapsed with no attention and finally my girlfriend uttered to me this place is $hit! at that point I could not have agreed more! We walked out after one bloody Mary and after about 35 minutes of waiting. They seriously need to do MUCH better we went over to the Oyster House and had an amazing raw bar lunch and all the staff was 100% more attentive and prompt. In all it was certainly my worst dining experience there, horrible!

I frequently go to this bar on Saturdays and Sundays for soccer and its always a good time.I usually eat after every game and have yet to have a bad meal. My go to recommendations are any of the breakfast options (love the eggs Benedict and sausage and gravy) and the wings are hands down on point. Some say service is slow but honestly when there are 40-50 soccer fans there all trying to grab a pint/food its to be expected. All in all, good pub and great food.

Enjoyed a wonderful alfresco dining experience with my dog and husband one early Saturday night. Our goal for the day was to get oysters on the half shell and so we did. One dozen were ordered and all were tasty and fresh accompanied by lemon wedges, hoarse radish and cocktail sauce. For the dog we ordered a hamburger slider kids meal with a side of steamed vegetable. The burgers were high quality and fresh, veggies were crisp n clean, perfect for the dog.

Rating Woodys Rum Bar ONLY, this is an excellent destination for a quite night out, a meeting place, or starting point. The rum beverages are divine and I bring all my out of town guests here first before we begin our Fells Point crawl. Does not tend to get too busy, so not a great place to go if you are aiming to meet people, but excellent for just you and friends as you wont be competing to speak over loud music or loud guests.

Slainte is an awesome reliable staple of Fells Point. They are open 7 days a week and start by serving great breakfast at 7am. And if there is a soccer game on its on their TVs. But breakfast isnt all they do they Have great Irish fare. Some of my faves are the Irish Bipimbop is awesome, love the Irish Nachos, Irish stew, scotch eggs and they make a mean corn beef and cabbage. And they have a friendly staff

Its ok. Standard Irish bar in a standard touristy bar section of a small city. The menu has changed a lot over the years but theyve never really hit their stride. Its all mediocre Irish fare, which needs a lot of work to begin with, not a great beer selection, no cocktails to speak of. Nothing at all appealing for vegetarians. Its always friendly and its a nice space though; lot of potential.

Pompous and passive aggressive attitude when we tactfully approached management about poor customer service. Six patrons who will never dine or support this establishment. Would not recommend visiting either of the pubs that are operated under the ownership. (Koopers and Slainte) Food was cold, three levels of dining with one kitchen and all we heard from the staff were excuses.

Love love love this place....always something fun happening. During my last meal there they had a live Irish band. On another there was a soccer game championship that Drew fans of the Columbia team and Chile. As the anthems were sung the fans rose and sang their respective anthems...it was great fun. The food is always superb. Love the Irish nachos

I tried the blackened salmon and cheddar bacon grits, and it was amazing. The fish was blackened perfectly with great flavor, not overcooked at all. The bartender (Jason) was professional and friendly. Very cozy vibes here, the beer selection was good, and it was an all around good experience. I will definitely come back and I highly recommend it.

Made the mistake of believing the hype about the "best soccer/football Irish bar in Baltimore", what a joke. Went there for the Ireland / Spain game (yes, Ireland in an Irish bar) and they were completely understaffed. One clueless barmaid working the entire bar and a sweaty waiter trying to run food outside and in. Been there twice, never again.

I mostly come here for drinks, which I love it for. The second floor has great views of the harbor, and its quiet enough to actually hold a conversation. Their Wednesday night Trivia is a ton of fun too! Ive gotten their Poutine Fries and Irish Bibimbap, both are decent, but its the atmosphere and views I come for.

The food has been consistently great. I recommend getting the specials. The servers have recently been very good, though I did have a few waitresses (Dec2010) who spent more time chatting with the bartender than waiting on our group. Management does make it a point to stop by the table to check on your meal.

half-off your entire tab on a Wednesday night...enough said. Excellent food (fried calamari is a personal favorite) and an extensive selection of beers is good by itself, but then when you get your bill and realize its only half as much it makes the experience all the more rewarding.

Ive been here for breakfast a few times. The portions and quality are exceptional. You cant go wrong with the Traditional Irish Breakfast or Boxty. The Irish coffees are a fun way to start your day if youre into that... And itll help you fit in with the sometimes rowdy soccer crowd.
