A friend referred my hubby and I bcuz of the live band, I loved it. The food? TERRIBLE. We went on Saturday night. The cajun wing appetizers should have been my warning about what to expect. They were cold and bland. With a reccomendation from the waiter, I ordered the broiled flounder topped with sauteed shrimp on a bed of sauteed spinach and a garlic cream sauce. When the waiter brought my plate to the table and all I saw was the bright ORANGE cream sauce (tasted like pureed carrots) dumped ALL OVER the 3 boiled shrimp and the flounder, I should have sent it back. How can such a simple dish be ruined? The tablespoon size of spinach(not a bed) was sauteed in a heavy oil (not olive oil) and inedible. Luckily I filled up on the salad, bread and the rest of the now ice cold cajun wings. When the waiter came to get my plate and saw that I didnt eat much even after I tried to scrape off the "sauce", he tried to get it taken off my bill to no avail. Management said "NO" and didnt even bother to come speak to me about the problem. My hubby ordered the Chicken Alfredo. The chicken was some kind of mashed together meat product. It wasnt real chicken. It was edible but NOTHING was seasoned. So althought I liked the band, we dont have a reason to revisit bcuz we dont drink. The band wasnt great enough to have me spend all that money for plain salad and bread. That was my 1st and LAST visit. The crowd was adult mature and music great. However management and the food left much to be desired. Oh, btw...since my food was terrible I didnt plan to leave a tip since I had to pay for a meal I didnt eat. I had to just laugh when I saw that the gratuity is automatically added to the bill after 6pm...NEVER EVER AGAIN!

One of my girlfriends and I went for a small outing at this bar/grill that I was referred to by my mother-in-law to check out; needless to say this place is a waist of time and money! The menu selections needed very badly to be appropriate for the meal prices that were listed. The food overall wasnt fresh at all and very poorly seasoned;the meat was extra dry and tough. When the waitress returned to our table she asked if everything was going well with our meal, my guest and I immediately told her No" and explained how the meat wasnt fresh at all and how it was dry, also it was seasoned horribly; she asked if we wanted to order something differently from the same menu! We told her No" and asked for the check, she was very apologetic about the meal but insisted to charge for that horrible dish. We then requested for the managers assistance; while waiting for the manager to get to our table, I made a remark about how the food wasnt good at all; a male employee of the bar/grill; with long scraggly gray hair and bald spots, who wore his eyeglasses in his hair, turned around to us and said; "I dont care! On top of that terrible meal they charge 15% after 6pm on every check on a party of 1(one) and above. I will never ever in my life come back to this hole in the wall!

Good service, The waiter was excellent a Rastaman! Me & family of four, my wife had the Chicken Alfredo she like the taste, the portion was huge. My 10 yr old son had the Filet of Flounder he loved it. Me I had the Rib eye stake $ 21.00 Me Im a self made Chef. If I love It I will try it at home,After eating steak at my many favourite Restaurants, the one thing you never serve someone a steak with blood water inside the serving dish, good steak must only have a little oil in the serving dish. The glass wall lighting is great but someone has to clean at least once a month.Again whats impress me is a real clean Restaurant, the floors are fully carpeted I always look in the corners there are dust & debris in all corners. As a visiter from NY please take this cunstructive criticism and move to the next level. Brian I stayed at Days Inn next door looking for a real good place After visiting Mamas on the half shell there was no comparson.

A real good friend and I were hanging out for the evening when he suggested we stop in City View. He had taken a many of dates there and said it would be a great place to stop in a grab a bite to eat. Since I had never heard of City View, I had no clue what to expect. But when I walked in and heard the live music and then was immediately greeted by a hostess to be seated, I was definitely feeling a little impressed...to say the least. The menu wasnt too long, but it did have several selections that peaked my interest. The Live music was definitely loud but it was good. From what I can tell everyone around me was enjoying themselves as much if not more as me and my buddy. The crowd was diverse 30somethings and over, couples, friends, dinner parties and some folks just wanting a place to relax and enjoy the evening. Overall a good atmosphere, decent food, and reasonable prices. Ill definitely stop in again!

The food and drink was good. Two points get deducted because price was too high. Yes the food and drink were good but not special enough to demand $2 more for each item. The service was prompt, however; the bartender didnt ask about meal quality, see if I was doing okay on my drink, nor did she offer any small chit chat. Sometimes there is no time to chit chat, however there were 2-3 people behind the bar serving about 9-12 people. I would come here again, but I would not opt to go here with other optio options. If you go here you will be satisfied. I do feel the service is better than I got today judging by the amount of regulars I could make out due to convo. I also wouldve been nice to thank me for my patronage or the above 20% tip. On your next visit you can expect anywhere from a 3 to 4 star experience (5 if money is not an option).

My family and I went to City View. For many of us it was our first time. The vibe that we received was I dont car attitude. When we arrived there was a sign that said wait to be seated, which is common in many establishments. The owner/magager acknowledged us after waiting for 3-5 minutes. A waitress took our drink order however our drinks( water and lemonade ) did not arrives for ten minutes. We all ordered. The salad and bread was served very quickly by the waitress. The crab dip was different so it was sent back and remade which was great. I ordered food and asked for it to be boxed. My food took about 45 minutes. The waitress ran it out to my car so I wouldnt be late to work. Our food was not served in a timely fashion and I kept being told oh we are boxing your food or so and so is bringing it out.

This was my first time there. Nice atmosphere but I did not like the watered down overpriced drinks. I am not a big drinker but I know good drinks and these were disappointing. There wasnt a live band and the food was not worth the cost. Our waitress rushed us into our meals and then rushed us away from the table when we were done. She began clearing the table with us still sitting there! grabbing the glasses we were still drinking from??. Dont think Ill return if there is a time limit on how long you can sit, eat and talk. Maybe you have to sit at the bar if you want to talk for longer periods or maybe there should be signs on the table to let people know in advance to eat and leave. Go figure? This experience was not very welcoming and she didnt even offer us dessert and we all tipped her.
