Yesterday was my last time to go to the Frederick Red Robin !!! The last three times have been horrible and it seems nothing is being done to improve the problems. We sat between 5 and 10 minutes before we were ever greeted by a server and then when she did arrive, I simply said. .. I was just going to ask someone if we could have a server. .. the server says, ugh sorry, I was double sat. So hostesses, please understand, if you double seat someone, you as a hostess should offer to get drinks knowing the server is busy with another guest. So there was strike one. We ordered simple burgers, nothing extravagant and still waited over 20 minutes, with only 6 tables in the bar area. Strike two. We had to ask for refills, flag down our server, which was not an easy task, because our fries were cold when we received them, yet she never asked if we were ok. Strike three. I thought this was going to be the end of things, but wait. .. when we were ready to pay, our bill being 26.56, my husband hands the server 40.00. Here is the topper, the server asks. .. Do you want change ? Are you serious, you believe you were worth 13.44 in tip ? But wait thats not the end, she brings our change and it was only 13.00, assuming its ok to keep someones money. That 44cents that you felt the need to keep is as bad as stealing money from someone and assuming that it is owed to you. I do hope you enjoyed it, because with that, you determined your own tip. .. 44 cents. With all this being said, I have been in the food industry over 20 years and am currently a restaurant manager, and if I knew my servers were treating my guests this way. .. they would no longer represent the restaurant. I hope you noticed that I said guests, not customers.... Guests pay you, guests keep you in business, so treat them as such. Treat them as you would a guest in your home.

The food was OK, I usually just got to the bar once in awhile for their mixed drinks so today was a first for me Burger wise. our server Dave was nice enough but nothing impressive, and i say that because he honestly was niether good or bad... well besides that My boyfriend and I felt like we were being rushed out at the end and he didnt have the ability to inform us that we had been sitting waiting for a dessert that wasnt going to come. I will say though, that he was much more pleasant than who came up to us next. A woman who appeared to be in management from the looks of her body language while she and another gentleman had a disciplinary Discussion with one of their kitchen staff. Which, in my opinion, No matter the reason theres No need to publicly humiliate an individual let alone disturb customers with your own personal frustration. She seemed insincere and bothered that she even had to tend to us. I even saw a staff member roll their eyes at her, theres No respect for that kind of behavior and its obvious. To top it off we were informed even though the store had just opened that somehow that dessert wasnt available. in a way we felt like we were being pushed out of the restaurant being that we look different just like the boy being disciplined in the middle of the restaurant. No worries though, ill be sure not to attend or recommend this restaurant to anyone again and save us all from such unpleasantries.

Not going back. We used to really like the chain - fat juicy burgers and really good fries and a good variety of draft beers. Went last night and it was just awful. Burger meat was disgustingly dry and stupidly thin, so thin that my husband thought his "tavern double" was in fact a single and even at that the two pieces were barely a single burger. The Whopper Jrs I order at Burger King are bigger. My "Keep it simple" burger was dry dry dry. The bun was stale and dry, the barely perceptible piece of meat was dry (I ordered it medium rare). There was absolutely no flavor or juiciness to it and I had to load it up with ketchup to choke it down. I could only choke down 1/2 of it. Ive had better "plain" burgers at any fast food place. The fries were only about 2/3 cooked - slightly crunchy in the middle and I got maybe 8 of them. "Bottomless" is pointless as I wouldnt have eaten anymore of them and didnt finish what I had. They were down to 4 draft beers (out of Sam Adams) and of those 3 were the usual pathetic watery non-beers like Coors, Coors Light..... Daughter sent us a gift card and well be selling it on-line.

We stopped at Red Robin by chance looking for restaurant options around FSK Mall. It was my first and only time at this Red Robin. My wife and I were quite happy with it burgers, nice and just with good flavor. Even though the restaurant was crowded, or order was taken quickly and food came out fast. Unfortunately, after that service showed down. Red Robin gives unlimited fries, but theyre initial serving is lacking, when we finally were able to ask, it took so long for the fries to come that our food had looking been finished. It drinks also say empty for a while. Again, be only over visit, so I hope this was due to there crowd and not usual. The waitress was quick to bring the kids chicken tender kids meal, bright it really as soon as it was ready, add requested. I took a bite, and they were quite good! Overall I was happy, I just hope that next time the service didnt disappear once the food appears. And I wish they wouldnt be so stingy with fries off the bat, it would probably make refills rare.

1st time at Red Robin. Cool atmosphere and good service from Erica (button your top honey, you cant pull that look off), but the food quality was poor to mediocre. I stuck with their signature items to get a sense of what they claim to do best. Onion tower: obviously a pre-frozen product. Mushy insides and all breading. Black and Blue Burger: Perfectly cooked to medium, but the toppings were sloppily thrown together atop the measily 6oz pre-frozen pattie, fries were good and not over-seasoned like many places. Lemon Cake: Utter disaster. Totally sodden cake, overly tart with a saccharin sweetness. Drowned in a gross limp strawberry sauce. I would probably not return, since for $2 more I can get a 10oz Burger, cooked over hickory, sans cleavage and children at Madrones or Firestones. On par with Crapplebees or Shebangagains or what your local incarcerated criminal eats daily.

Ordered for pick up. Had to call a couple times because person at bar couldnt hear me, so kept hanging up on me. Finally the person at the front desk just took my order. (on a side note, why press 1 for take out when you are just going to have to be transfered anyway) Been going to Red Robin for some time, just seems to be getting worse each time. We get the food and it did not live up to expectations. Pizza was undercooked. One chicken sanwich had guacamole on it, the guacamole looked like it had been sitting out for a while (it was not bright green like it should be but dark green). Another order was a 14.00 burger, not a thing about this burger was worth that!! MANY other burger joints charge half that and its tastier. Not sure if we ever go back to Red Robin again. Very dis satisfied!
