After an evening of shopping on New Years day, my girlfriend and I decided to stop by the Olive Garden for a quick dinner, because of their small portion entrees and unlimited salads. We are frequent patrons of this Olive Garden location, but our over all experience on New Years day was very insulting and humiliating. We always sit at the bar to watch sports while we eat. My girfriend ordered the flat bread pizza from their new menu selection. I ordered the vegetable lasagna top with chicken, my order included the unlimited salad. The Bartender brought out the salad with one plate and then walked away into the kitchen area. We thought he was going for another plate so we waited. He came out and strated mixing drinks for another customer. I asked the second Bartender for another plate and he gave me this speech about if I give you another plate, we would have to charge you extra. I informed the Bartender that money was not the issue, all we wanted was service. Making money and policies seem to be their priority at this Olive Garden. What happen to customer service. After all, we were there to spend money and that was not the issue. My girlfriend requested that I discontinue the conversation about the extra plate and that it was not worth it, especially on the first day of the New Year. We continued to eat the salad using the single plate. Our entrees came out later and I then requested to have the salad replenish, the Bartender brought out the salad and then gave me this speech, "If your grilfriend eats some of the salad, I would have to charge you" This was it for me. I requested to speak to a Manager. The Manager came out to speak with me, and my question to him was" why is money and policy such a high priority over customer service?" Why should the Bartender or Server of any restaurant dictate to the customer on how they should eat or interact with members of their dinner party, or how they can share their entrees. I just couldnt believe what I was hearing and experiencing as a customer. The Manager agreed with us and said that it was unacceptable and that he would take care of the problem. Based on the conversation, the Manager way of taking care of the situation was to comped the meal. We informed him that we were not looking for a free meal and that we would pay for our meal. We informed him that we felt insulted and humiliated and money wasnt the issue. Obviously if we decided to dine out, we expected to pay for whatever we ordered and whatever came extra. Poor cutomer service!

I will never return to this location. A few months or so ago my fiance and I came in for a late dinner on Sunday after a busy night of work, neither of us had eaten yet and we decided on going out. We arrived approximately 30 minutes before the restaurant had closed so I thought we would be fine to eat. We were first greeted by an ungracious host that seemed upset about our presence. We even considered leaving. The hostess insisted it was fine and reluctantly showed us to our seats. After about 10 minutes our waiter approached and he was the only pleasant thing about our short visit. During our thought process of ordering our food, we could overhear the manager, bartender, and bus boy arguing with our server as they wanted to leave and he was willing to serve us. After about 15 more minutes our drinks finally arrived, we ordered our appetizers and thats it. Now more arguing and badmouthing from the manager, cooks and bus boy. My fiance and I decided to not order dinner. We stuck with our appetizers but as we were eating the bus boy was slamming plates and glaring at us the entire time. We paid and I tipped our server well for sticking up for us, and we left. We were gone before the restaurant was scheduled to close. I have had good experiences at olive garden in the past but will absolutely never go back to any olive garden or darden restaurant for that matter. I see now the lack of care for their customers.

Meh is my general feeling, but it could be because overall I am not a fan of their food. Whyyyy dont they salt their pasta?! Thats crazy, and they should realize it detracts from their food quality. The service here is always great however. When visiting friends and family in the Frederick area, they like to dine here and Ive never had a server that was not anything but attentive and super friendly. The other drawback for this location is the parking and wait times. This is the only Olive Garden in a 20 mile radius and its alwayssss busy with a wait. If youre going on a week night after 5pm, or anytime on a weekend, expect at least a 20 minute wait, if not an hour or more.

We came here for my daughters birthday. We ended up with a great and attentive and waiter. I have not been impressed with Olive Garden in the past but my daughter really wanted tortellini and we found it on their website as a childrens menu item. I guess they have improved since my last trip there several years ago because the food was delicious and fresh. The house wine sample was much appreciated and I actually bought a glass of the same. I know there is often a wait at Olive Gardens but none of them seem to have a very big Lobby for guests waiting for tables. It seemed quite busy at this one but we were actually seated fairly quickly and in less time then promised.

Tried calling them 5 times and the first time the girl answered the phone and didnt say anything, as if I was interrupting her, and then when she finally said something it was to promptly put me on hold for 10 minutes. Hung up, and tried again and instead of answering they just forwarded me straight to hold. THE WORST SERVICE, I would have never expected this from a restaurant that Ive always enjoyed so much.

Long wait for a table. Shrimp Alfredo lots of pasta only 6 small I mean small shrimps. They rush you out. loud talking people that eat there. or maybe they offer you reduce price at the bar while you wait for your table and of course people get drunk on an empty stomach. so that explains the loud talking people that eat there. Bad idea to offer the bar before you get your meal. Then they drive drunk.

I called and asked the manager Lawrence Franklin could he accommodate 52 people on a charter bus on our from Pennsylvania making our way to North Carolina. He told me that he could accommodate us! When we arrived him and his staff were VERY friendly and VERY accomodating .They had a nice room for our group! And the service and food was EXCELLENT! I recommend this restaurant!

Visited at lunch on a Saturday and didnt have to wait for a seat. Had a great waitress that never let our drinks empty, recommended a great dish for all, and was very attentive to us as customers. The food was very good and the deal when we visited allowed us to bring a second plate home. Excellent deal for the price.

We had a great time. Our waitresses name was Sara and she helped us out greatly as we both suffered from a nut and tree nut allergy. All of our food was safe and we had great service!! Love this place and definitely will re-visit sometime soon. I highly recommend the fish dishes as well as the egg plant parm.
