I visit Double T almost monthly - usually meeting friends from out of the area. I like the restaurant as the menu is so varied that I know my friends will have a wide choice of foods to choose from. However, on my recent visit, they refused to honor a price that they had on the menu. They said it was a mistake and that someone had forgotten to change the menu that I had. The manger refused to budge and I felt insulted by his attitude - which was arrogant and rude. It ended up that my friend and I left and went to Olive Garden which was next to Double T and we had a most delightful lunch and waiter. I will not return to Double T. They have lost $$$ that I usually spend in one year at their restaurant plus now they will also have bad press.

What a horrible experience! When the hostess took us to our table she just threw the menus in a pile on the table and walked away. The waiter never introduced himself after taking forever to come to the table. The menu is a mess, with specials in some menus but not others. The loaded baked potato was very dry. Opened four different things of butter only to find they had all been improperly stored and not usable. Overcharged for the special. When we went to pay we found out the military discount is only for one item, not the military familys ticket. Then the lady at the register added an additional amount to the tip we had on our slip. When she was questioned about it, she said, "Thank you, have a good night."

I will never go back to this diner again. The waitress was pleasant enough but my husband got his food 30 minutes before my dinner was ready. When my dinner came, it was luke warm and mediocre. The waitress apologized and when we were paying the bill at the front register she came up with us, told the manager about the extra wait for my food. The manager never said one word. He did not apologize or offer anything, all he did was grab a piece of pound cake and put it in our bag. All we wanted was a good meal and good service but did not receive either.

***ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING*** Visited the Frederick location. The place felt dirty. Tables & chairs were sticky & clearly hadnt been cleaned. I felt like if a roach was going to crawl out of my food that this would be the place..... I ordered French toast & that was a complete waste of money. It was dry & a bright yellow color. A cardboard box would have had more flavor. My friend ordered chocolate chip pancakes that were completely dry. We wasted $40 on food that we didnt even finish eating. Do not recommend. If I could give negative starts I would.

Very disappointed that their website says they are open till midnight. We walked in at 10:15 PM only to be told by the person behind the register that they were closed and added "didnt we see the lights were off? " Yes we saw the lights were off on the exterior but the interior was well lit and had customers. When I said they needed to change the info on their website I got no response. Too bad, we wont come back to this particular location, however we will go back to the one located at White Marsh, MD where weve had excellent service and food!

This place was terrible. A Saturday night at a diner and they started cleaning up the restaurant at 10:20pm. Their website says it closes at 12. My girlfriend and I went in around 9:30. The panini she got was nothing but grissels in the meat and had no flavor. We felt rushed the whole time. They started turning off lights inside while other customers and myself were still inside. And locked out other customers. Food was not worth the price. It was hard to get a simple refill on drinks too. Defiantly not going back.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Atmosphere was unpleasant to say it nicely. Waitress saying the f word over and over and over. Saying how she wants the place to f%*< blow up. She would go into the kitchen and yell get me my god &$@& plates. It was white trash disgusting. The food was horrible. Thrown together on the plate. They even managed to burn nachos! We will NEVER think about returning and have also told friends and family. The best option for this establishment is to CLOSE and start over again.

While we were seated quickly, the food and service were severely lacking. Our waitress was polite and accurate, but she was way too busy - they were understaffed on a Sunday morning. Meanwhile, a woman who spoke the same language as the owner or manager stood around looking pretty useless. The French toast was bland, and the Western omelet was mediocre at best. Also, who the hell charges for sharing plates? This is the third Double T Ive been too, and this is kinda par for the course.

Double t Diner has been my fiances and I place to go for a good meal every Sunday morning for the past couple years. I really like that they serve lunch and dinner throughout the entire day since Im not to fond of breakfast food. Today I was very disappointed to find out that they are only serving breakfast in the mornings and wont serve lunch until 11am. I dont think we will be visiting this dinner much any more. I would still recommend this diner good food and service.

There is no way to sufficiently describe the superb dining experience we had. The Maryland crab soup was excellent - good amount of crab. The lump crab cake sandwich was beyond compare. There was at least 80% crab meat and clearly high-quality lump Maryland crab. Having grown up in Maryland, I feel like I know crab - and this is some excellent crab. Look forward to eating here again (service was superb as well) when I am in Frederick.

I dont know where the five stars are coming from. Maybe the 20 employees. First off I should have known that a place with a 10 page menu couldnt be that great. I got French dip sandwich thinking you cant mess that up. We it was super dry and flavorless. The fries were ok but dont expect to be blown away by them. They should find one thing on there menu and do it great. However I will not be going back to find out if they ever do.

It was ok, I ordered the Chesapeake Benedict and my girlfriend ordered the French toast. The hollandaise sause was too thick for my liking. The crabcake itself was ok, seemed to have a lot of filler. The home fries that came with it were bland. My girlfriend did enjoy her french toast and bacon. It was pretty queit. It appears they only make things for the day as I did over hear the waitress say they were out of a few things.

If your hungry at double T diner , go to Applebees or anywhere thats thats double T Horrible service , took forever forgot food , no soup TOOK 1HOUR TO GET OMELET AND CLUB SANDWICH ???????? SHOULD ONLY GET 1/2 STAR , FIRE THE MANAGER , LADY IN FRONT AND WORTHLESS WAITRESS OTHER THAN THAT GREAT PLACE TO EAT 7- 11 HAS BETTER FOOD AND SERVICE And the idiots 3 of the WORTHLESS staff gave us wrong check !!!!!!!!
