Massaman curry was delicious. Unfortunately thats about the only good thing I can say about this place. Upon being seated we were promptly brought 2 glasses of water, one of which had an ant floating in it: fantastic. After that came apps: Mussels sauteed in Basil and Green Papaya Salad, both were pretty good, not spectacular though. Then the main course. The "Amazing Thai" was without a doubt the worst thing I have ever been served at ANY restaurant EVER. It tasted like meat and vegetables sauteed in melted peanut butter and sugar that was BURNT, served with noodles on the side. I could only manage 2 or 3 bites. Upon telling the manager he responded "Oh yeah, thats the worst thing on the menu." To which I replied, "then why is it called Amazing Thai?" him: "Let me know next time you come and Ill get you a free dessert or something" The table next to us found pieces of tin foil in their food... this was not an isolated incident.

Its tough being in Carytown a lot. You really have 3 great Thai places to eat at and each one has their own style and flair. This is my favorite place to grab a quick bite and be left alone and just get in and out. The food here is great. Great size portions and definitly the best priced Thai food of the 3. They just renovated the menu and it makes it much easier to read and find what you want. I love going here for lunch. Fast service and you get a free app during the week. I also get a lot of take out from here and again its prompt, great food and low priced. If you want to impress a date with atmosphere and prices you may want to try Ginger or Mom Siams but if you want just the deal overall, for food and price, this is your place.

Sevice was prompt upon seating and the staff was friendly. I ordered the bankok chicken which was reasonably tasty however the dish felt lukewarm at best and the consistency seemed as if it had been sitting in the window for the 30 minutes it took for our meals to arrive. My wife had the pad thai which looked appetizing but turned out to only carry the flavor of the oil it was saturated in. The service after meal delivery dropped off and we sat for some time before we were able to get our check. Quite dissapointing considering its cary town location and generally good reviews.

Thai diner too is the best place Ive found for taking family out for reliable excellent Thai food. When I have family visiting, they want Thai food. And they dont want to experiment. When my mom wants Thai food, she wants to know what she is getting. So I take the family here. The phad Thai is always excellent. The satay is always excellent. And if I wand a curry instead of satay or phad thai, it will be excellent, too. The mango sticky rice for dessert is always sublime. You just cant go wrong here.

When I visited the place was very busy and seemed understaffed. My beer was funky tasting. The label said it was brewed in Febuary 28th 2011. It was served on December 13th 2011, far past the recomended 110 days of freshness on the botle. I told the waiter and his response was "Im sorry" as he rushed back into the kitchen. No effort was made to fix the problem. I would recomend some of the other thai restaurants in the area with similar food quality, better service and atmosphere.

The service is exceptional, and the food truly speaks for itself. To have a successful restaurant and make a sister to it just for the sake of giving customers an option to stay close to home says a lot about the owners and their sense of over-the-top customer service. With food always made fresh to order (including the delicious lemonade and Thai tea) , you know this is food from the heart.

I have tried several of the Thai restaurants in Richmond, including all of the ones in Carytown, and Thai Diner Too has the best food by far. The atmosphere is not fancy, but the food is reasonably priced and delicious. Try the coconut curries, drunken noodles, and the fried spring rolls! I have also used them for take out and the service has always been quick.

Ive been to Thai Diner Too twice and both times the food was very good. The Thai food tastes very authentic. Prices are reasonable, not cheap. The interior is a little dark with a dark purple paint covering the walls. But light is sufficient. Service is ok, not particularly friendly nor rude. If Im craving Thai food in Cary town, Id happily come here again.

Thai Diner Too is hands down the best thai food in Richmond. The ingredients are always fresh and flavorful, the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is authentic. This restaurant is ideal for both families and couples as its soft lighting and personalized feel make it both casual and intimate. I love Thai Diner and would recommend it to everyone!!

food is good ; however the guy taking orders at the counter is soooo rude. Not only was he rude when answering the phone, but he was also rude to put my change on the counter when he saw my hand out. I think the employees need to treat their patrons with a little more respect. Service could definitely use some improvement!!!!

The food was good but service was bad, they barely approach to our table. They charged us at the end 18 or 19% for gratitude. We felt cheated since they didnt told us that theyre were going to charge us for that specially after the bad service that we got.

I have to give extra points to Thai Diner Too on my most recent visit because I walked in 25 minutes before closing and they were nonetheless extremely accommodating. Pretty much always a good spot to stop for some nice eats.

Had a great first dining experience at Thai Diner Too. I had never really eaten Thai food before but thought the food was wonderful. Service was extremely personable and quick as well! I definitely recommend the Tom Kha soup!

When I worked near this restaurant, I would eat here quite frequently. It was a great place to go for lunch. The food was excellent and of good value. The place looks run down and they usually only have one or two wait staff.

This restaurant has very great food! My sister recommended it to us, when we visited the lights in Richmond! Would definitely eat here again! Only possible issue is the bathrooms were not wheelchair accessible.

The food was meh. I had "Noodle of the drunk" (really?) and it was mostly oil. MY friend had the pad thai which lacked in flavor. The service was great, but the atmosphere was very similar to Strange Matter.

The one restaurant that everyone in my family loves. Be conservative in your spice level request; theres no shame in ordering your dish "mild," and itll still have enough seasoning to make it interesting.

I enjoy the dishes here so much. Ive had pad Thai, curry, and vegetable basil dishes and they have all been great. The staff was very prompt and knows the menu. They describe the spiciness well.

Fav thai in rva -I usually get either masamun curry or the pad prik plah mouk. Highly recommend the vegan friendly mock duck :D Fyi medium spicy is pretty mildddd
