Me and my wife ate here for my birthday usually we love the cheesecake factory we normally go to the location in King of prussia PA which is superb. This Location in Baltimore is to be avoided at all cost . We waited over an hour and a half for a bacon burger and fried catfish. The dessert came out before the entree and the waitress excuse was "they dropped your burger on the floor so we have to make a new one" and she decided to let us know her Co-workers were lazy,which I cant argue that judging by how dirty the restrooms were, the place itself was unmaintanence and discombobulated you heard dishes dropping and breaking every other minute which is normal for the cheesecake factory but this was literally every other minute with loud profanity behind it. So we decided to take the order to go because our children was getting antsy we were going to tell them to cancel it but the waitress convinced us a long with the manager it will be out in one minute which turned into another 10 minutes by that time I just wanted to walk out but the manager came back to let us know he was going to give us the appetizers for free; which by the way the fried Mac and cheese were over cooked and had to small rain sized droplets of sauce which was unusual because I order these all the time at the location in KOP and they are always cooked to perfection and drizzled with the right amount of sauce. But anyways they finally brought the food in their carry out containers and bags and by this time our waitress was irritated and it was written all on her face she hated working there along with the rest of the staff a long with the cooks. So we get back to the hotel and open up the bag, fries every where; someone put a open bag of fries upside down inside the carry out bag , my wife didnt get the mash potatoes that comes with the fried catfish meal which was disappointing considering that meal is 17 bucks, and my burger was not cooked at all yes you read it right a RAW BURGER in between two buns, and I specifically said well done but it wasnt even rare it was RAW so my wife called them unfortunately we couldnt go in to show them because it was 10 minutes till closing and we have 3 fussy little ones ready for bed so we finally get the manager on the phone to demanded our money back and they gave us the run around saying they would have to charge our card twice to refund the money back which sounded like some BS they came up with to discourage customers from getting their money refunded , it sounded kind of rehearsed and of course we took the bait because we will not allow them to double charge us just to refund us our money back thats ridiculous so we accepted a gift card they claimed they will mail out to our address iinstead thats the reason for the 2 stars I wouldve gave them one .

I really only review if it is either spectacular or aweful. So. Trust me when I say this: the service blew me away! I was on my way to have a skype date with my best friend/ roommate from college who lives across country. My little dog had already been home alone all day so I called ahead to several restaurants seeing if they would allow him at their outdoor seating. I called a place above the cheesecake factory and they said only small dogs. I drove to baltimore, paid $20 for the parking ramp (ridiculous) and walked those painful 6 blocks in heels to this second floor restaurant with my dog only to find out they wont allow him even though I called ahead. I started calling other places but by this time it was dinner time and EVERYWHERE was insanely busy. I thought what the heck why not try cheesecake factory. So sitting a block away from their restaurant I called them. The lady I spoke with was very kind and said to call again when I was at the door so that she could bring the buzzer to me to wait for my table. She brought it outside then said once it went off she would come and get me. (Talk about service!) no more than 5 minutes later she came out and walked me to a corner table (perfect for the pooch) outside. My waiter was nice and the food came out quickly and after finishing my call with my friend I signed the check and left. I was 4 blocks away when I realized I left my leftovers in the box still on the table...I called them seeing if it would have by any chance still been there and they said it would have been thrown away by now. But then he proceeded to ask what I had in the box and I told him the contents. He then said they would have a new one made if I wanted to come back in 20 minutes? (Again! Talk about service!) I walked the rest of the way back to my car then drove close to the Cheesecake Factory, put my flashers on my car and ran in they asked my name and gave me the bag with a smile on their face and that was that. You have outdone yourself this time. I cannot believe how great of service I had when it was CRAZY busy. That kinda service is even better than most places non-busy times! Thank you Cheesecake Factory. DEFINITELY coming back and recommending you in the future!

Was just here about an hour ago.. It took a bit of time for the waiter to come greet my girlfriend and I at the table once we were seated by the hostess. I had to get up and walk over to the front to ask the hostess if there was a problem because our waiter hasnt arrived at the table ..by the time I did that he had already came to the table I was not present. My entrée came out with the top of the steak burnt, too well I ordered medium well, missing mashed potatoes and no steak knife. I asked for my mashed potatoes which I was never notified would take longer than expected no steak knife ever came to the table and never got refills on our drinks until I got the manager involved. Let me tell you about the manager Paul.. He Turned the night around ! He got down on one knee talk to me which was very kind. (and makes sense because hes at least 6 foot five ) He talked to me about the situation ..sincerely apologized, very soft-spoken,gentle, understanding. Replaced the original entrée with another one of my choice and it came out delicious. My Green tea iced tea with mint actually came with a mint leaf garnished on top unlike the first time. Its the little things that make a big impact too. Paul was very attentive, really showed he cared and treated us so great. I told him its been a year since I visited this location and a year ago I also experienced the bad service.. He then said if I choose to visit this location again that I have a friend here. That was a very genuine thing to say. He puts his heart into what he does. He should train all the employes there and all the employees should find a Paul within themselves. If I visit this location again I will request Paul to take care of me as everybody should reading this review ! Thank you Paul! However now the original waiter took my dessert order. I ordered the cookie dough cheesecake to go and specifically said to him no whip cream. A couple minutes later the desert came out in the to go box with the whip cream on top of the cheesecake and on the side... I reminded him i ordered no whip cream And he apologize then offered to replace it with a new one but I said no thanks he apologized again and we left.
