Westfield Shoppingtown, or Annapolis Mall, as all who do not work for corporate refer to it as is, is the biggest mall in Anne Arundel County and one of the largest (if not the largest) in the State of Maryland. Unfortunately, this mall was not built for easy expansion, and the expansions that they had leave for a confusing mess looking for one of the smaller stores. It was originally a very long one-story Mall, so you wanted to park in the middle if visiting multiple stores. Now they added a second layer to about half the mall. So what used to be parking between Macys and Lord & Taylor and between it and Nordstrom is now more Mall. Meaning you have to walk through Lord & Taylor to easily get to parts of the mall. Once you get the hang of it or learn where you favorites are, it isnt bad. But not the easy circle of Arundel Mills or the two story nature that makes it easy to get to your car by just going up or down an escalator from Columbia or White Marsh Malls. But, due to this expansion you have a great mix of stores and restaurants. The only typical mall store I wish were here that isnt is the Disney store. They even have two food courts, one on each end of the mall (the original being much larger). They also added multiple small parking garages, making parking easy to find (if willing to go up a level). Yes, around Christmas its still tough. But if you go up a level, spaces can be more easily found on most weekends. Overall if you are looking for a big mall, with a good mix or stores, some being on the high end, a good movie theater and lots of dining options, both quick service and sit down, this is one of your better, if not best area options. Just be sure to look at the mall directory, as its not a mall to just wander around if looking for a specific store!

Cool place to hangout, a very big mall. Not as big as the one in Towson, yet large. Many good stores, also multiple dining/snacking places. If youre looking for starbucks they have two! They also have a great little candy shop. If you dont live relatively close to it its worth the drive in my opinion. Its also a good break from some of the other malls that you go to, even though youve walked it a million times and know all of the stores. The mall also contains a bowtie cinema (yes I know I put it as one word) that is on the upper level of the food court. The food court contains may options including a Arbys, Chick-Fil-A, Taco Bell, Panda Express, Subway, and more. The options go on and on, never had a problem not finding seating. The one bad thing that I found with this mall which is why I didnt give it a full 5 stars is the kids. They arent causing trouble, or being loud. There are just a lot of 11-13 year old girls walking upon the mall themselves which can get a little annoying yet better than the 15 year olds causing trouble at some of the other malls. For all of these reasons I give the Westfield Mall of Annapolis a 4/5 - Talon

This mall is a overall great mall. It is a good place for shopping for all seasons, and have a wide range of stores from electronics to apparel. This mall is constantly keeping up with local and worldwide trends, with pop-up booths all about the mall and a fun experience for people. This mall also has great family accommodations, and has many "family areas" spotted across the mall to relax families and let their children play without worry. The dining services are great, with many new restaurants, and no food safety concerns. My only complaint is this mall is a very odd layout, and will sometimes take you a while to find the store you are looking for. But, there are convenient directories spotted across the mall. Also, there arent many stores that will lurch out at you and ask you to take a free sample, only some pop-ups will do that. Great mall to grab a bite, or a new piece of clothing.

Great place to shop any say of the week. Ample parking whether it be in a covered garage, curbside, or in an open parking lot that is conveniently located to almost every store. They have a good food court with plenty of options for everyone. As well as additional good and drink options scattered throughout the mall. They have pretty much any and every store that you would want and expect to see at a mall and more are added often. The mall is always clean even in the bathrooms. There have numerous bathrooms located throughout the mall as well as in all of the department stores. There is also a play area and a babysitting service for a small fee for parents who need to get some shopping done without having to sorry about

little parking. Poor quality food sources (poor service is typical of the area, but doesnt make it right). Low class vendors in the aisle kiosks. Generally the employees at most of the stores are horrible.. both as employees and as humans. Theres an occasional nice person. But again, thats kind of a problem of the area. Its a chain mall. has all the same mall stores that everywhere has. Just a bit more expensive. The gap between walmart and mall clothing has gotten very close (walmart isnt getting better). Crowded, junky. Area is getting very violent and crime ridden. "mystery corpse found in mall dumpster" type stuff. Theatre is nice, if you can afford it.

I bring my toddler grandson here quite often. He loves the aquariums & family lounges to watch "Nemo" tho the lounge near the aquariums is often crowded. Our favorite place is the lounge down the hall from Sbarros & Auntie Annes. We eat lunch there on occasion & they have a little microwave. Unfortunately someone stole the DVD player so we can no longer watch "Nemo". That was several weeks ago & still hasnt been replaced. I hope they do replace it! He also loves to go to the "Smart Toys" store to play with the trains. The employees there are very nice. The play area near Pottery Barn is always too crowded...Another play area would be wonderful!

My favorite mall in Maryland... They literally have almost every store and they keep expanding and growing! Theres a movie theater that is pricier than most, but I suppose maybe that has to do with it being in a mall, idk. I love their lounge areas throughout, super creative and cool. I like that the have different sections that are connected through different stores, cuz sometime you need to cut through Nordstrom so you can get to Zara! Oh and their restaurants are good too... and dessert shops!... yep my favorite mall!

I love the variety of stores this mall has to offer. I went there in December and actually went through the entire mall to see every store there. I wish it was a little closer to home, but it is a nice change of scenery. I could do without the same Kiosk being every 300ft and the people trying to grab on you. They make me feel very uncomfortable especially when you tell them "No thank you" and they still grab on you and try to pull you to their station. Its always the same thing, skin care or hair products.
