This place has the very best escargot that I have ever had. I come here and order two plates of them and get filled up on it and the bread. It is my secret little escape to Paris, only closer. I have tried escargot from all around the area but most are a bit fishy or chewy or just not so great. The two owners are very french. They have even been cooks at the white house years ago. The decorations inside are amazing. I stare at the beautiful artwork that is up on every part of the walls and treat myself. This is one of those places where you can order anything off the menu and its amazing. My only complaint is the desserts are not sweet or amazing enough to match the food, but I get the crème brûlée and thats my favorite lately. I hope this place never goes away, because I dont think I will ever find better french restaurant without driving forever.

My boyfriend and I went there for Valentines Day last year, and it was fantastic. Their menu had a decent selection and their ingredients were very high-quality. It is, or course, a bit pricey, but I would definitely choose this place over a $50 steak any day. For Valentines day specifically, they had free valet parking, a very neutral temperature (a lot of places are too cold to wear dresses to) and ladies received a free rose on the way out. Everyone was dressed up very nicely, and the tables were candle-lit. Reservations were required. Very nice place, I am definitely going back. I also recommend the Springhill Suites that are right across from it. We were going to Annapolis as a "Staycation" and the suites were affordable, romantic, roomy, and very well taken care of.

It was our first visit to this establishment. $25.50 3 courses brunch was a great deal, but what impressed us the most is the quality of the food. It was outstanding. Everything was very flavorful and delicious. The ambiance is nice and cozy. The service is the only part that wed wish to be better. Our waiter was "trying to be very professional", but was not very attentive, forgot couple of things and confused our bill with overcharging for not ordered drinks. Otherwise it would be 5 star experience. We definitely will continue to patronize this restaurant. P.S. The second visit was even better. The same server served us but this time he was perfect. The food impressed us more too. Thank you for a wonderful brunch!

Today for the first time I was very disappointed with the food. The calamari was fried to a crisp. This was quite a surprise since up till today the calamari has been perfectly cooked and delicious. Soft and tender. The other disappointing dish was the salmon appetizer. A meager portion was served without capers. Since I was entertaining a friend, I did not say anything. I have taken many friends to lunch and dinner at Les Folies and they have loved the food. I hope today was an unprecedented happening.

Im not normally very interested in French cuisine, but my husband and I went for Sunday brunch and it was excellent. The escargots and mussels were super good. My gazpacho was just okay, but how often does one find gazpacho in a restaurant anyway? Id eat it again. My husband would consider dessert to be "a side of steak," but since it came with the meal he ordered the chocolate mousse and LOVED it. I cant wait to try some other dishes..

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time and we really liked it. We had the mussels appetizer and it was my favorite part of the meal. My only complaint is that there should be more mussels on the plate! He had the coq au vin and I had the filet bordelaise and we each enjoyed our meal. For dessert we tried the souffle, which was good as well.

A great place if youre looking for good, authentic French cooking and wines. The soufflés are amazing and definitely get the escargot. The clientele does skew into the more mature range but Ive always felt welcomed by the staff so dont let that keep you away. Its a great romantic dinner location with a lot of fun events around the holidays.

I went to Les Folies for my birthday dinner. It was a weeknight and not very busy, but the staff was still friendly and attentive. The food was top notch and classically French. If youre looking for a nice place to eat, but arent sure of what you want, Les Folies is a wonderful choice for a varied and delicious menu. Great place.

When Im in the mood for French and dont feel like driving to DC - Les Folies it is. The atmosphere is a bit glitzy ... and the prices are decidedly aggressive. But, the quality and authenticity is spot on. Go when you dont have to worry about the price tag, order with abandon, and youll be happy. ... Great wine list, too.

Delicious French onion soup, legit hole in the wall French cuisine. Grilled salmon was just okay, and a little light portioned. Could have been more fire grilled and have come with some fancy potatoes or something. Pesto sauce could have been drizzled over salmon. Overall great place and recommend. Great staff

Great food, great ambiance local traditional french food. The Souffle is a must have, one of the best in the Washington DC metro area. In addition, highly recommended the 2 tiered raw tray if u like raw shell fish. Great food, great sevices with a reasonable price tag.

The Caesar salad was so so and I requested the salmon without any sauce and rare. It came to table cooked medium and was closer to cat food than I like. The staff was attentive and this is the best thing I can say about this place.

As a regular, I could just east an entire baguette with french butter along with Baked snails. The truth is I love french food and Les Folies has not only the best Foi Gras but the best mussel dishes and the paella is to die for.

This is a wonderful restaurant with excellent food and great service one of the last true French restaurants left. They make you feel like family. I could not recommend this establishment more highly.

Wow. What an experience. Excellent customer service and amazing food. If I was local to the area I would live here! I got the roasted lack of lamb and chocolate soufflé. To die for.

Terrific classic French. Attentive service. Happily it is not too loud, so you can comfortably converse with friends. $$$$$

Quite nice, traditional French food at exorbitant prices. I prefer Cynthias in Severna Park--check that out instead.
