Im sure its no secret to Edgewater locals but the food at the Kabob House is excellent, the proportions generous, and the proprietors welcoming and hospitable. We stopped in for a quick dinner and were so pleased to find authenticate middle Eastern (Levantine?) cuisine in this old strip center. If your looking for great kabobs, the lamb and chicken were both excellent with just the right marinade and char. Jasmine rice was cooked perfectly, side dishes were all excellent (we tried four including baba ghanoush), and falafel looked and tasted home made. Baklava was not too sweet and a nice finish to our meal. I would love to give five stars but the ambience leaves a little to be desired. Styrofoam and plasticware are the norm, and I could see takeout was the preferred method of most customers, but I would gladly pay more for glassware and a booth to relish this wonderful food.

I ordered the number 1 - chicken kabob. Food arrived quickly. All the sauces were great. The chicken had a perfectly charred outside and was juicy. It came with grilled bell peppers and onions, rice, falafel, hummus and bread. All were fantastic. The man at the counter, I assume he was the owner, was friendly and gave me great service. Highly recommend this place. There are a few tables if you want to dine in.

Fantastic family owned Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurant. Ive been coming here for three years, and the owners continue pour their passion for good food at reasonable prices into their work. The décor is simple, but continues to get better. For authentic home cooked falafel, kabobs, and other Mediterranean treats this place cant be beaten by anyone in the area. Love it!

Kabob? Kebab? No matter how you spell it, delicious chicken, kofte and several other sorts may be found as platters or wraps in this humble but clean little strip mall establishment. Mediterranean soups, salads (all fresh and homemade), desserts, a selection of hard - to - otherwise find groceries are served up by the very friendly couple that owns the place.

This hidden gem is amazing. I havent had an abundance of kabobs but Kabob House serves up the best ones Ive encountered. All the sides are homemade and delicious. The chicken kabobs are nicely spiced and perfectly charred. Theres not much room for seating but whether you dine in or take out, dont leave without some homemade baklava!

Really delicious and well prepared food at a decent price. The menu is small but that means what they do prepare has that much care put into it. Great for takeout, the decor isnt a place Id take a date to eat in, but pick up a couple plates of food and eat outside. Highly recommended.

Have eaten here twice. The steak and cheese sub is the best Ive had in Edgewater thus far. Slightly longer wait than your normal takeout because everything is made from scratch. Theyve got a mini market inside stocked with spices you wont normally find in a big chain market.

The owner, Danny (or Hani), goes out of his way to serve the customer. His food is the best Arabic food in the area. I cater from here often and crave the kebabs, kofte, and almost everything else all the time.

Great food here, this will be a weekly go to for lunch. I got the chicken kabob, it was very well done. The bread was fresh and had a crisp and the Tzatzik sauce was very well done.

Awesome Greek food! Theyre gyro is really good, the falafel is amazing, and hummus is some of the best Ive had, and prices are super fair. The owner is also a really nice guy.
