We visited Saco Island Deli for lunch today and the service and food was exceptional. We had a party of 8 and each person was thoroughly impressed with the freshness, quality, and taste of their sandwiches. The only bummer was that, while making any sandwich into a salad constitutes a gluten free option, they didnt have any gluten free bread (which would have made the Vermonter even more enjoyable!). Also, when I asked if they could make my daughter a grilled cheese they said no. I did find this a bit confusing since they had a panini press and some of the sandwiches come with cheese on them. This could easily have been done. My daughter ended up getting a BLT and enjoyed it, so crisis averted!

They make great food without a doubt. I am leaving 2 stars because of the ingredients. One, animals are not vegetarians and supporting an industry that forces their animals to be vegetarian is not humane. Two, they have ingredients that have toxic msg and carrageenan. Toxic! The cost of the food isnt cheap so you think youd get better ingredients. I wont go back until they change.

This is one of my favorite go to sandwich shops. Ive been here 3 times and tried something new each time. Never disappointed. It is all made to order with fresh ingredients. A lot of the sandwiches are different things that you wouldnt think to make up yourself. Pricing is really good for the quality you get. Staff here are always really friendly and helpful.

its probably the best sandwich place in the area. Everything on the menu is amazing is highly recommended. All my experiences there have been nothing short of Amazing. Customer Service is also a 10 of 10. Its a great place for lunch.

Sacos Hidden Gem. Do yourself a favor. Get in your car right now and go to Saco Island Deli and order yourself a Jersey Joe. Seriously the most unbelievable sandwich ever. The owners are always there and are extremely welcoming.

The best B.L.T I have had. My boyfriend had the special sandwich we both loved the food! Pricey but the quality of ingreants is amazing and worth it. Friendly staff, cute decor, and great food!
