We were introduced to the place by friends. We loved the food, BUT, as people of color we found the service somewhat chilly. On our last trip with out of town friends it was extremely uncomfortable. The hostess "SENT" us to our table and no one ever came to introduce themselves as our server or take an order for drinks. In a place so small you would not expect any confusion as to who came in first. BUT, a party that came in some time after us was "BROUGHT" to their table, welcomed and orders taken while we sat and watched. After several more mintues waiting we decided to leave and go to the Thai place down the street where the service was exceptionally good, adding to the pleasue of enjoying a wonderful meal. Oh, it was between lunch and dinner so the place wasnt busy. Too bad, but service counts as much as the taste of the food.

This place is capable of a much higher score however... They use the most uncomfortable metal folding chairs, I mean the ones that you likely sat in at elementary school assembly. We are talking about a place that can easily tip the scales at $50 for two people out to lunch not including drinks and tip for the server. They also have pretty charges (if you want to add cheese or cooked onions to a burger its $2.00. On the plus side, service was good and the food was tasty and high quality. The dining rooms were clean, bright, and welcoming. I made our server aware of my dissatisfaction for the chairs and she said they are getting new ones. She did not know when they would be in.

The food was made by someone who had a passion. Its always nice to experience. Our server was great, though our fellow patron had a great many diet restrictions, not many of which were remembered by her rude waiter. Paper is a wonderful thing, when coupled with a pencil. The clam chowder was delicious. The fried green tomatoes were sublime, and the slice burger was almost an archetype against which all other burgers would but be a shade, except I asked for medium and they gave me well done. The fries were crispy on the outside and melted on the middle. So good. I dont usually eat this sort of food, so when I do its nice to have something crafted, not just naughty, but seductive.

Food is good but its a bit greasy and everything is overpriced. Service is also ok but nothing to rave about. As for the restaurant its bad. The tables are really small so youre always bumping feet with the person across. The chairs are just cheep generic FOLDING CHAIRS. They are super uncoftorble. The sidewalk is better then the chairs. As for the price a side of fries is $7 and most sandwiches are over $11 and dont come with anything except a tiny container of coleslaw. For 2 people it cost almost $50 and thats before tip and without drinks. If youre made of money go ahead but if youre sensible it isnt good.

I stopped in here a few days into my vacation since it was right across from my condo. The restaurant is small inside but it was packed. I ordered the turkey reuben and truffle fries to go. Both were excellent. The fries you could really taste the truffle oil and it had fresh parm grated on there. The reuben was made with hand sliced pieces of moist turkey breast and was grilled to perfection. The sandwich was huge. Everything was really good and fresh. Next time I plan to make it in for breakfast. That menu looked great as well.

Ive eaten here once before and it was delicious. Chef is amazing! Love the food. Management is accommodating. Wait staff needs training - the waitress we had was poor at best. She waited on every table twice and never once looked at us. We chose to leave. Not spending money to be treated like we are invisible!!!

Delicious and friendly, the truffle fries cant be beat. The burger was cooked perfectly from high quality beef, and the tomatoes that topped it were among the most flavorful Ive ever had. Their desserts were also breathtaking - I highly recommend the chocolate mousse with fresh whipped cream.

Fabulous restaurant: simple food done to a high gourmet style, in a convivial environment. We ate at peak hour on a Saturday night but had friendly, attentive service. Menu satisfied my familys very diverse tastes. Salmon burger + sweet potato fries + savignon blanc = perfect relaxed dinner.

I had the "red white and blue" salad, a delicious blend of spring lettuces, blue berries, strawberries and pecans. Drizzled with a balsamic reduction and goat cheese. The portions are massive so bring an appetite. The staff were great

I really enjoyed eating here. The prices were reasonable for the island, and very cute inside. The waitresses were friendly and service was good. I loved the burger i ordered and my husband had a chicken panini and both were great!!

Had their special chicken sausage sandwich with the caramelized onions and a side of truffle fries. My girlfriend had the clam chowder -- it was light and delicious. Everything was so fresh.
