Worst meal. Fish and chips were covered in oil, ordered gin and soda with cranberry and just got a cup of gin and cranberry... waitress messed up drinks and orders consistently and didnt even care. This place should be on restaurant impossible/bar rescue. At some point the waiter even came over and told us there was a flood in the kitchen so the food was delayed. Ordered wings, nachos, white pizza and calamari. Wings were refried, nachos had chili on them straight from the freezer, white pizza was completely frozen and soggy (inedible), calamari was soggy and double battered. Go downtown instead. This place was not only disgusting but a complete rip off.

Our family ate here tonight, and the consensus was that the food was pretty good. We were seated in the bar side - theres a restaurant side as well that isnt as noisy. Stuffed shrimp, seafood platter, scallops, friend clams were all good. Pizza was just ok. Kids were happy with their meals as well. "All you can eat salad bar" is pretty basic. They forgot the plates for the appetizers and one order of fries, but we were waited on promptly and service was otherwise adequate.

The Fareground Restaurant is probably the worst Nantucket dining experience we have had! (And is not worthy of even receiving one star.) Our drinks were served in dirty glasses. Our party was not all served at the same time AND one of our meals never showed! The food was cold and greasy! There was no soap or paper towels in the restrooms. When we asked to speak to the manager, she was not accommodating! We will never go back!

Worst meal on the island, a complete ripoff, 9 of us sat for dinner on deck, people were smoking pot, manager or owner did not care, service was horrendous, huge ripoff. Stay away!! Food was disgusting! Hope I said enough. Stay clear. Should have gone Brotherhood of Thieves

Good pub food and decently priced. Go at the right hour and its quiet without being dead. Usually before the dinner rush or that weird hour between the dinner people and the drinkers. They make a mean salted caramel mudslide.
