Went in for a late Fathers Day lunch (about 3:00 pm). Although the place did not seem to be busy it took about 10 minutes to get seated. Once we got seated it took about 15 minutes for someone to show up to get our order. It took about 10 more minutes to get drinks (who knew water and iced tea were so difficult.) When I asked our waitress (Tina) about our drinks she informed us (and not in a nice way) that they were out of glasses. About 25 minutes after placing our food order we were informed that they were out of blue cheese (my daughter had ordered the "English Burger" with bacon. So my daughter asked for a burger with American cheese and bacon. About 10 minutes later SOME of the food arrived. Tina informed us that someone had taken the burger my son had ordered (he asked for it to be cooked rare) but Tina graciously offered another burger which had been cooked well done. My son declined and asked for a burger as he had ordered it (rare with Wings sauce). The burger arrived about 5 minutes, but without the wing sauce. Then we got the bill, which was incorrect, because it still included the extra charge for the blue cheese we did not get. If they had been slammed (busy) I may have understood some of the poor service, but by 3:00 pm the place was mostly empty. Our server was just not trying. On the plus side, she did fill the drinks order correctly (3 iced teas and two waters.) Sorry, not going back.

Very rude hostess and waitress. Waited 20 minutes inside only to have people being seated before us outside. When I asked the hostess how much longer and about why others were being seated I was curtly told "Seating is open outside". We were not told that, and the hostess booth says wait to be seated…."Well, you should have asked then. You never asked about outside seating" Was the very rude response I received from the hostess. I told the hostess that other places I have been will let you know about protocol for seating when you walk in, and the hostess became really rude and the waitress decided to continue the rudeness about the situation outside. Then, the waitresses friend came up while we were eating and decided to tell us that they shouldnt have even sat us. I am sorry that I have never been to your restaurant before, and didnt know I could seat myself outside. A "Sorry about that. I thought you knew about seating. If a table is free you can sit down" would have been a perfect professional response from the waitresses and the hostess. Instead they were rude to us right off the bat over something stupid. I will never suggest a day trip up to Abita Springs to anyone after that fiasco.

Amazing environment. It is good to have "home-made" beer in the northshore area. Take a Saturday afternoon to do the beer tasting and you will definitely find the perfect flavor for your taste. There is something special for every beer lover. Be aware than some of the beers in the list can be as expensive as 6 dollars a glass but you have to think that you will not find the same product anywhere else in the world. It is a unique place. The food is good and I think is cheap compared with similar places in the area. I strongly recommend the burgers and the PO boys. You better be hungry because they are hugeeeeeee. Give them a call for a reservation during the weekends (especially during summer time) because the place is kind of small and it keeps very busy, otherwise if you do not reserve you will probably have to wait on line during 30 to 45 minutes to be seated.

Only saw the waitress twice. Wait time on the food was thirty minutes and some random guy brought the food and ran off before we could tell him the issues with it. He spilled half of my fries and my burger wasnt medium well and was missing half the ingredients. My boyfriends catfish Poboy was cold. They also overcharged us and when we brought it up they just took off a drink instead of charging us for the proper meal. We brought the issues with the burger and fries to their attention and they said theyd lower the cost of the bill for that. They did not. Also the bartender was losing her mind saying she couldnt deal with this many customers when there were only six people at the bar.

Great variety of Abita Beer! This place always has the seasonal and latest mico brews from Abita. However that has little to do with this classic restaurant in Abita. Everything about this place is average they dont have great presentation or any real stand out dishes. Bar food is good if you look at it as a pub with food. The layout needs updating its both a bad layout for a restaurant and a bar. The outside area would be awesome if it wasnt so neglected. Overall this place wouldnt be in business if there was any competition for bar grill in Abita.

We called ahead to ask if we could bring our dogs to the patio, and over the phone they said we could. We get to the pub and one in our group lets them know we (and the dogs) are outside, and is informed that they are not serving outside because they are too packed inside. It was 30 minutes from the time we called to the time we arrived. They get 2 stars because for the beer we had at the brewery. Go eat at Sonic down the street....from the time I started typing this to the end, weve ordered and got our food, and the lady was super nice.

Salutations! The food and beer are excellent, as stated in other reviews. I would also like to comment on the quality of the owners and the people that work there. The focus is on the customers satisfaction and you will experience that when you benefit from the knowledge of the servers. If you go there for as many years as I have, you will note the good number of regulars coming in. There is good reason for them to keen returning. Merry X-mas and Happy New Year 2015, yall!

Went there today and took two guests with us. They both had shrimp poboys which they said were delicious. I had a "chicken burger" which was listed under the burgers. Turns out the "chicken burger" was actually a chicken breast, pounded VERY thin and grilled to a really dry finish. It was on a large bun, but this was no where near a chicken burger. Really disappointed - especially for $11.95!

Comfortable excellent meal and if you get Zack as your waiter you will enjoy it even more. The food was delicious the service was great. My husband and I and our three boys all enjoyed the meals we ordered. Our drink cups were never empty and service was quick. We really enjoyed our meal and Will definitely return when we come back to the area!

This quirky brew pub is loaded with local charm. The service is great, food delicious, and of course you have all the wonderful Abita beers. I ordered Da Mans Mix Grill (chicken, sausage, ribs and potatoes) and my husband got the Killer Burger (fried onion rings, pepper jack and hot sauce), with chili added; both were tasty.
