A great location to meet up with a group of friends for a casual evening out. The food is great. I have tried several items on the menu and have been really happy every time. The buffalo mac and cheese is my favorite. The beer selection is good as well, with the standard variety available at most microbrewery restaurants. The prices were a little high for the quality, but not to the point that I would not return. It can get very loud when full so it may be difficult to have a conversation across the table with a large group. They dont take reservations but call ahead seating is available for large groups. I will definitely return.

Bland food and spotty service. The Corn and Crawford Mon Choi was bland, thin and small. The panko fried chicken was only slices of breasts, with a heavy, oily panko coating. When I could raise a waiters attention, I had to order an appetizer to feel full. People love this place. I did enjoy the smokey smell of the interior. The appetizer was Shrimp Toast. Large well seasoned shrimp sat atop a grilled piece of local legend French bread. Pepper jelly was a great counter note. It was good, but not good enough.

Our experience was great. Family friendly. My wife said they had an actual changing table with a pad and disposable liners for changing our 1 year old. There were also small bags for the dirty diapers to be placed in prior to throwing them away. Beer really is great. Coming from a beer snob. The food was equally delicious and well prepared. Both servers we dealt with were very courteous and helpful when offering suggestions etc. We have very nice places in DFW but none that are as complete as Old Rail.

My first time here, and honestly, BLOWN AWAY! The bartender, James, was so attentive and provided amazing service. My friend and I had the pork belly "snack" that was served over fried rice, topped with an over easy egg and finished with a sriracha drizzle. Let me just tell you that it was so amazing, we ended up ordering not 1, but 2 orders of it. The beer was magnificent to say the least. Literally, this is my new favorite spot. I would even ride my bike here. No joke! I will be back for sure!

Dont normally order a burger when dining out but nothing else on menu caught my eye. Food came very fast as there were just handful of patrons dining. Thought our server was horrible. Came to our table once to take drink order, someone else brought our food then waiter brought check. Was never offered refill on drinks nor checked with us after food was brought to us to see if we needed anything else. SCRATCHED THIS PLACE OFF OF OUR LIST

Every time we come here the food, beer and service is always good. The main reason to come here is their beer brewed in house. The waitstaff is always knowledgeable and can recommend food and beer pairings. The food is really good also. This place can get very busy at peak dining times and you will have a wait for a table. Go for the food or just get a beer at the bar, either way old rail is worth a try.

Not impressed with the food but the atmosphere is nice. They need to take the chicken sandwich off the menu. Please hear me Old Rail... it is simply not good. They buns you are using are inedible. The chicken was dry and just not good. I want to see the restaurant do well because its a neat place to go, but I wish they would take a closer look at some of the menu items and revise!

The shrimp and grits are awesome! The blackened shrimp are to die for, on the cream cheese grits. The presentation was nice and it came out fast! I wanted a little more of a portion but I realized that I forgot about my dark old rail stout "Cow Catcher stout" which filled the rest of me belly! Thanks old rail, I wish you success from my visit, since you opened 5 months ago.

WONDERFUL venue! My best friend held her wedding reception here this weekend. The entire staff are incredibly helpful, diligent, and polite. They are quick to respond to requests and find solutions. Shout-out to the manager, Sarah, who was so organized and pleasant. Also, the venue is absolutely beautiful. I only wish I had more opportunities to visit!

The Old Rail is probably my favorite restaurant in Mandeville. Last time I went, I had the Chicken Parmesan, and one of the seasonal beers that they had on tap. Every thing was awesome, and I plan on going back soon. If you do go, you NEED to try their Irish nachos. The food is great, the beer is great, the service is great, and the location is great.

What an amazing experience! The menu was fresh, innovative and of the highest quality. Typically at breweries the food lacks or its mediocre due to the attention being put on the beer. Not this place! The food and beer were of equal quality. Just go and give it a try. P.S. John was or server and he made the experience that much better!

This place is so delicious. Pub food but better. The beer flights are a favorite of mine. We usually ride our bikes there from the local state park. There is a bike rack out front and outdoor seating. It can be a bit noisy sometimes but not too bad. The kids menu is great.

My family and I were biking along the Tammany Trace. We stopped for dinner at this restaurant. We were blown away by the quality of the food and drinks. So kudos to this restaurant. Great atmosphere. Fantastic food. Tasty adult beverages. And a great location.

Excellent food and service, and FANTASTIC craft beers! I initially discovered this place whilst looking for a craft brewery in the area, and the fact that they have a great restaurant too was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend!

Cute spot with lots of ambience and a fun environment. Nothing on the drink menu is gluten-free so thats a bummer, but the server was helpful with food allergies so still a win since I was visiting with a large group of friends.

This place is awesome. Im a beer drinker and I loved their selection. I even got to meet their head brewer (Matt) and he was very friendly.. even had a beer with us and talked about the beers. Highly recommend!!

I very rarely eat burgers but today I was craving one. Old Rail did not disappoint. The parmesan truffle fries tastes great but would have been better if cooked a few more minutes. They were soggy. Still, Im happy!

The onion rings and fries are great. I wouldnt recommend the sauce piquant though. It wasnt anything special. Also the Tuna Salad ( tuna filet on green salad) has BBQ sauce on it, we werent expecting that.

Awesome beer & atmosphere. Brewmaster Matt Horney makes some of the best beers in the state. Food can be hit or miss but is always excellent when Chef Monteleone is there and his specials are outstanding!
